It's a good MMO FOR Free, nice game play, the monsters have a good designer, you can construct your on house and all stuff around....but in my experience in this game i found very difficult find someone to play, did a lot of missions alone and the term MMO for me did not exist.

Ignore the people with comments about not reaching in the character creation. I've also had problems at the start but luckily it was a quick fix. So far wildstar has been a refreshing MMO for me. There's definitely lots of things to do in wildstar that wont get repetitive as compared to the other common MMOs i've played so far. WILDSTAR deserves more players and another shot!

I got one word for ya, fellas. Housing. The housing in this game is a game in and of itself. It's getting better like, every patch and there's so much you can do with it. Want a cave? YOU CAN BUILD YOUR ASS A CAVE. Want a small, rustic, dusty town? They got you covered with everything you could want. The gameplay and combat are pretty dang nifty too. not just a sit there and shoot it, you have to move and jump and avoid attacks in real time. Builds are pretty flexible, and there are plenty of people who'll help you out. The RP community is rather large and the majority of them are friendly as heck. I've had a lot of good experiences on this game and totes recommend it for anyone lookin' for a gorgeous layout, hilarious and snarky dialogue, and endless ways to decorate your own space and yourself? Go for it.

I wish steam had a neutral feature because i am going to be listing a lot of negative aspects but also a lot of posotives. Do i think you should give wildstar a try? Yes. Absoloutly 100% I may not have the steam hours but i am a wildstar Veteran i started playing since it's first ever closed beta and i have 4 characters level 50 (2 for both factions.) The combat system is fluid the voice acting is great and the housing is fantastic if you have an imagination. But here come the negatives, the game isn't exactly doing well and seems to have 2 feet in the grave at this point it is rare you will find another player aside from the capital city or the starting zone in addition to this quing for PVP takes forever and is a pain if you just want a quick match before bed or something. In addition to this if you are like me and don't have a guild or have no interest in raiding and don't want to wait for the PVP que wildstar becomes a bit lackluster after a while. Once you have your character decked out it becomes harder and harder to have fun. NCSOFT is focusing on skin packs rather than new area's and when they do add new area's they aren't that appealing to anyone. For example they added Arcterra on paper sounds like an amazing idea. Multiple world bosses whichever faction kills the most unlocks a dungeon for their faction great idea! Problem is arcterra is just boring its piles of snowy mountains with a few bosses and without a group there is no way you will defeat them in time. With all this being said wildstar is amazing for it's journy, leveling up to 50 for the first time is one of the most satisfying experiances i have ever had & the reaction of my guild when i announced i had finally reached 50 puts a smile on my face everytime i think about it. I reccomend wildstar highly just don't expect to have lots and lots to do if you are Solo or don't plan on joining a large guild in endgame.

Probably the kindest ftp game avaliable, with tons of group PvE MMO content that is entirely free for players to access. Despite popularity issues, Wildstar has updated itself to provide a better experience for new and returning players.

I have loved wildstar since launch. It is a shame that most MMO players are so addicted to world of warcraft that any other IP's dont get the chance they deserve.

As a new player - and being a level 12 after 15 hours (and lvl22 after 36hr) - i have a few things to say about the game. first of all the controls - for me they took a bit of getting used to - though that may be because i haven't played an MMO in a long while - and i'm still messing up my dodging but that will get better with practice. . . and you do have to dodge alot. There is alot of movement required in this game especially when you have multiple mobs on you also you need to be constantly turning to get out of their weapons range. It makes the combat system intresting and needing focus. Combat can be customised by changing your attacks and leveling up only the ones you want to use and those points can easily be redistributed if you decie on another line up - this allows you to have multiple options however i haven't been able to work out if you can change the line up without having to open up the actual box. quests are mostly the standard go get this, find that, interact with something, kill that speices - but it doesn't give you numbers instead theres a percentage which is an intresting feature, the quest narrative is intresting to read and will tell you more backstory and more information about the world and the people. There are a few differant quests to mix things up - such as having to use an item or being turned into a creature to find and dig something up. The lore is awesome. completly awesome. As you go along you'll find books and if you choose scientist will also look for datacubes which give you even more lore. Getting the datacubes is also a great way to see more of the landscape and it's fun trying to figure out where the cube is and how to get at it. though it can be frustrating to come up against a wall and not be able to find a way around it, it takes a bit of patients and perceverance at times. The housing is really cool. Your given several plots where you can place plots like your house, a crafting place and a garden. and then you can put your decor whereever you feel like it - you get decor as quest rewards and drops or you can buy them and place then wherever you like, hoever you like - at the minute i have a floating mushroom :P i've only just got the crafting system so only really played with cooking - which is useful up to a point you can only eat outside of combat but the food does give buffs which last 30 minutes - and architects which also looks intresting and usefull - and the resource points look like carrots and trees on the map which is an amusing little feature :D Leveling - as mentioned it's taken me 15 hours to get to level 12 - for me this is fine i'm more intrested in the lore, the quests and just running around exploring. I haven't been grinding mobs just doing the quests which seems to be working for me. - The xp event has obviously boosted me up which is both good and slightly annoying as i almost missed a quest line until i wondered why i'd gone from level 15 quest to 18 but it does make it slightly easier being a bit higher than the mobs. So all that was great but i do have a couple of downsides. As have been mentioned on other reviews there is a lack of player i've only see a few other people as i've been running around but the chat box is constantly moving with chatter which is great. The other downside is that at times i have trouble seeing where i'm going there have been 2 quests where you had to go into caves and i was in the dark and couldn't see a thing i don't know if i was missing something but it made doing that quest without dying slightly difficult. On the whole i'm really loving this game and i hope that people will give it a shot.

This game has a stunning pve/story levelling experience, but the real reward is at endgame for me! I love to raid, and the raiding experience is nothing short of my favorite of any MMO I've played. (My actual time played as of writing this review is somewhere in 2000 hours, and I almost solely log in to raid at this point). It's active, engaging, and challenging, no matter how many times you clear an encounter. However, if raiding isn't for you, in the endgame you can also fill your time with housing. Wildstar has the most beauftiful, fleshed out housing of any MMO by miles. Though I've never finished my own housing plot, there's hundreds of hours to be found there if that's what you enjoy! There's also an active RP community. Wildstar has tons of beautiful zones, things to see, and do. This MMO owns my heart, and I doubt I'll ever be able to fully commit to another as long as it exists.
