The Escaper Features

The Escaper is an android 2D infinite running game having some little new concept. In this game the person will be running and he has to collect fruits to maintain its stamina moreover collecting fruits will give him points. There will be trees that can be large and short in height or width. As the person will be running, you have to tap fruits on the trees, so that fruits can fall on the person and he is able to collect them. You have to tap fruits in time so that it can be collected, because of different tree’s height and width fall time will be different. If person’s stamina ends, the game will be over. There are also some hurdles on trees like spiders, honey hive etc., the person should avoid taping them because those may fall on the person then one life will be deducted, and after losing all lives the game will be over. Player can face some ground hurdles too, that can be dodged/avoided by jumping the person. You have to tap the running person for jumping. Try to make maximum points and also try to cover maximum distance because reaching maximum points or distance will unlock achievements.

Guys, this needs autosave. I ended up just keeping it open forever, (well, 165.7 hours apparently, which is a close approximation of forever for those of us with the attention spans of particularly focused goldfish) and then forgot where I was when I came back. Now I don't want to do everything in this room all over again. Is this my own personal problem? Yes. Could it also be your own personal problem? Well, possibly. Is it a necessary evil? I don't think so! But for $3.99, that's all the complaining I am going to do. Generally otherwise OK for a budget escape game.

A four-stage escape room game, somewhere between easy and medium difficulty. The puzzles are logical and well-made. Nothing stands out to me as unfair -- though the xylophone puzzle on stage 4 will be a tough obstacle for some players. All in all, fun escape game!

It has great potential, if only you could save your progress. Remember playing Chutes and Ladders? Yeah this is like that. Too frustrating and a waste of time to start over and over again.

Fun game that's well worth its price. Responsive game, didn't encounter any bugs along the way, even though it was released yesterday. The puzzles had a nice balance to them, not insanely hard but thankfully not too easy either. I got remotely stuck 1-2 times in each room, and had to use a guide to get past those points, but I only have myself to blame for being stuck. The tutorial in the beginning is nice, showing you everything you need to know in a short amount of time.

A clever and difficult game, I played 2.2 hours (without time limits), but I couldn't get all the way through the first room. Still, I had moments of exciting progression from one puzzle to a dependent succeeding puzzle, etc. I did feel thrills of achievement. Yet I was determined not to go beyond bedtime. So I am giving up the game. Sad. It is simply too boring to go back and replay. Why not let us save our progress within a room? However, I do wistfully recommend the game, especially to those speedsters out there. An Old Gamer

I've really enjoyed the game. Except for the xylophone. I feel like game developers forget that some people have no musical ability. I know what melody you want me to reproduce, but I simply can't. it's like asking a colorblind person to see the red number on green background. Other than that (and the sneaky key in the third room), I had fun. Thank you.

Its pretty fun, and at such a low price its good value even for ~2 hours of play time. I have big issues with some of the puzzles but most of them were great.
I was really enjoying it until room 4 which kind of ruined my whole experience of the game. Firstly, watch battery = enough power for a handheld games console? That just doesn't make reasonable sense, neither does using a full size screwdriver to remove said battery - when you can't even see it has a battery in the game!. Secondly, the xylophone. I suppose the post-its were meant to be red herrings, but as someone who is tone-deaf, it was impossible to recreate the game tones. I knew what the solution was, but it was impossible for me to do it. I had to look up the correct notes which was incredibly frustrating and spoilt the game for me.
This is a delightful escape game that is not too easy and not too hard. I enjoyed it immensely and it was nice to play through a game in a single evening. The puzzles were interesting, with conceptual clues that kept me thinking. If you are a fan of 'escape the room' scenarios, I would not miss this one. I played through the first room without the timer and was able to finish within the hour allotted so I stayed with the timer on for the last 3 rooms.. You can retrace your steps to improve your time but the puzzles do not randomize so they are pretty easy the second time through. All and all, great entertainment value and I hope to see this development team create more rooms! I should add that Escaper is a 3D point and click interface with the ability to scan back and forth to change direction. Inventory is easy to access and use. I found the mechanics to be fairly seamless and enjoyed the environments that are crafted with a great level of detail. The puzzles in each room are entirely different so the challenge continues throughout the experience.
