  A shooting game that fits with its price partner. Nothing much to expect. It is entertaining for a couple of hours. Very Arcade. Fine with me. The sounds are really poor though, that's sad. The rest is without pretension and makes the deal. You will have to replay, rinse and repeat, if you want to see all the maps. Since you will need to increase your equipment for that and it is more than a penny to get those good guns. Nothing to recommend in particular. No reason to discourage from buying either.

  Western 1849 Reloaded is a great game. You play the role of a Western gunfighter, who is having a shoot-out with lots of bad guys. Rush from position to position to get a bead on your enemies, and then shoot them in the head for maximum damage. Shoot the tin cans for a bit of target practise, or to increase your rage ability. The bad guys pop up from behind buildings, bannisters, water barrels, and wagons - and they shoot at you in your white hat. It's a bit like whack-a-mole, Western-style (well, okay, it's a lot different to that, but I think you get my drift). Depending on how much success you have, you get a load of coins as payment for your fine efforts. When you get enough coins, you can then buy extras. You can buy equipment, upgrades, and abilities with your gold coins - and they're well worth it. There are several stages of difficulty (Rookie, Sheriff, Legend, Hero, and Champion). When you beat one stage of difficulty, you can then move on to the next one (although you have the option of playing on the easier levels as well, if you want to). Each stage has several levels (you get a new level each time you move up a stage). Every level has three waves. At the end of each wave you get to choose one of three perks. Choose wisely - the fate of the entire town may depend upon it! Whilst this game is not as great as a free-range first person shooter, it's still a lot of fun. If you like Western shoot 'em ups, then do yourself a favour and buy this game for a bit of easy enjoyment. P.S. As a personal aside, I love the music that plays while you're in the menu.

  I have try this game on a old laptop Dell Latitude D830 with 4GB memory and NVIDIA Quadro NVS140M - CPU is T7500 (2.20GHz) it did run fine enough for my taste in 1280x800, so dunno how low you can go with this game and what is minimum required for grafichcard. Proparly more hardcore gamers wanted highest possible resolution and speed. :) Normally I play on other machine it was more a test of grafichcard since it says "GeForce GTX 460 or Radeon equivalent" which I think is quite high when consider the processor just need to be an old Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD equivalent. I like old western games, so I would advice this. Yes it can be a bit hard to go further, but actually I like that, so you need to proparly complete same stage more than once to save money up for upgrades to continue...

The addition of upgradeable and unlockables equipment make this game much better than first impressions provide. Sure there is alott of replaying the same content and you will fail alot if your timing sucks but with practice and a beefed up character the endgame becomes achieveable even for an old dog like me.
