  Played on Linux using Proton, Gave up playing the Game and Uninstalled it, Game kept bugging out, for some reason every time i see the first Ghost on camera i get stuck in camera mode, starting the game again and it still happened at the very same point.

  The second part of "[b]Strange Night[/b]". Once again, the player is thrown to the mercy of fate without explanation - what is happening around. Who is the main character? Why do we monitor the hostel on cameras? What happened in the sealed rooms? We are not given questions about this in the game itself - the only place "hinting" the meaning of the game is the description in the store. But 90% of players don't read past the brief description opposite the screenshots. Therefore, no one can give answers to the questions above. The game has Russian localization, which is carried out with the help of the PROMT translator. So don't expect too much from the game. In addition, localization falls off quite often, leaving players with Brazilian subtitles. Although the game positions itself as "[i]horror[/i]" - there is essentially nothing to be afraid of. One single "[i]ghost[/i]" that appears towards the end of the game will suddenly obscure the player's screen several times. Otherwise, you can only be afraid of the barking of a dog on one of the levels. Despite the lack of a plot inside the game and any tasks / explanations of what the player needs to do, the game has pretty nice graphics and good optimization. This is probably why they are trying to sell the game for such a high price. [b]Pros:[/b][list] [*]+ Good graphics [*]+ Great sound in places [*]+ Good optimization[/list] [b]Minuses:[/b][list] [*]- One puzzle per hour [*]- Short game, can be completed in less than 30 minutes. [*]- Lack of tasks and plot[/list] [b]Total:[/b] Pretty simple indie game trying to pass itself off as something "terrible" and "terrifying". The game has neither a plot for which I would like to go through this masterpiece, nor achievements - to brag to everyone that you have mastered this piece of code, nor collectible cards - to at least earn some money. Therefore, I do not recommend this game for purchase. Believe me, your library will not get worse without it.

  It starts with me not knowing the menu because the screen isnt meant for max settings, so I had to guess tapping around to get into the settings menu to see there arent a lot of settings, no problem. I can play not lets get to the good stuff! This is a highly detailed "door opening" simulator. I do not know about you guys, but I love opening doors, especially when every last one of them looks identical. It adds to the mystery of the game. Did they buy all these doors at Home Depot and they aged exactly the same? No additional moisture near the wash rooms that would cause some sort of additional erosion or wear and tear over time? You can the develpment team really poured a lot of effort into this. It will be 2.99 in no time, wait for it :)

  This game is a lot superior to the first despite the inability to change the controls. Been surprised a couple of times but again lacks the intro you would expect. Simply walk into the hostel. This game is clearly broken as I managed to bypass two of the puzzles when I got stuck in camera mode. Story lacks any depth and because of that do not know what your doing.

  Ok, having freshly played the prequel to this, I was ready for another glitchfest. I was not disappointed. >.> Strange Night II definitely improved a great deal from the previous game, but still manages to fall short of a satisfying horror experience. + You can run! Yay! + Graphics are cleaner and spoopier! + No more creepy chair! +/- You get a flashlight, but the battery is limited. There was very little story to this game as well. They just plop you down in a hostel and expect you to be a mind reader. Eventually you figure out that they want you to manually charge the cameras and check the map provided via the security interface in an office. Then you collect items. Sadly, the game kept finding ways to break. The camera map directed me to enter a room that was only accessible via a vent. Once I was in there, both of the vents blocked off and the item I was supposed to get did not spawn. So I was trapped in a room with no way out. Restarted again and got a little further but something went wrong again and I got stuck permanently in camera view. *sighs* And that was the last bit of patience and energy that I was willing to expend on this title. I am sad. This seemed like it could such a neat little game, but it's badly broken. Sorry again, friends. Probably a good idea to skip it altogether. :(
