Do not listen to all of the Negative reviews about being a "Buggy Mess". There are only a few bugs, and I only experienced 1 major bug, and it was not game breaking. When I was well into the 1st Chapter, I came back to play the game again, and my progress appeared to be lost. When I selected "Continue Game", they sent me all the way back to the initial Tutorial like I had started a new game. I had made significant progress that I thought was lost, but after I quickly ran through the Tutorial again, they brought me back to where I left off in Chapter 1. I think they only other bugs I noticed was perhaps a couple objects were not where they were supposed to be, and when I restarted the game and continued it later, the items were where they were supposed to be. Nothing game breaking at all, and this beautifully created Puzzle game that is very polished. It is well worth the current $10.99 asking price. I got it on sale a long time ago when it first came out, and it was even more expensive on sale back then than the full price is now. I think I paid ~ $12 for it...well worth that was well. I just now got the chance to play thought the entire game, and it was awesome! Some gaming experts would say it is too short, and it is short if you rush through it. There are currently only 2 Chapters, and now that it got so many negative reviews, I am sure they will never add any more content. I am not a gaming expert.....I have a real life and a business to operate. I cannot play in my mothers basement all day and night. As the game progressed, the puzzles became very challenging for me, but I was able to complete the game in a little more than 6 hours. I took my time and enjoyed all of the beautiful scenery the game had to offer. Nice job, Devs!

This is absolutely one of the best VR games I have ever played. Sure it has its quirks like all VR games, but the adventure is well worth any minor issues along the way. Honestly, what I perceived as bugs actually turned out to be mostly me not doing something correctly. The puzzles are challenging but not illogical. I did have to consult a walkthrough for many of the puzzles, but it was always something where if I had a little more patience then I would have figured it out eventually. This game is also well optimized. I was able to maintain a solid 90 fps the entire game. It also worked very well with the Index headset and Index controllers. I really had no issues with the controls. It also has teleport movement, which I prefer over locomotion. Overall, I really enjoyed the theme and setting and the puzzles were very enjoyable as well. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a good classic puzzle experience in VR.

The game feels dated. Only supporting Rift and Vive indicates this game isn't up to prime time - and only supporting teleport is a grave error. Devs should know better by now. This game would have been awesome in late 2016 or early 2017, but not today. You can only choose between 3 graphics presets, which is another shortcoming to this game. Using the highest preset most textures did look great. I tested the game using Index, and I did get the impression that this game was made for oled hmds, not lcd, the lighting and dark areas just don't feel right. Still this game does not support native Oculus drivers, which is another grave error to achieve optimal Rift CV1 performance. The game feels like some strange Myst clone, and the puzzles felt weird and misguided. My backlog is too long, new games need to impress me quickly, and this game did not. The devs have had 18 months to fully support the Index including finger tracking, but apparently devs were too lazy to do that. Performance using my GTX 1080 was fine, but using Index you'll need like res 150% or the game looks blurry - and motion smooting did kick in a lot using res 150 %. My rating 5/10.

The game probably has not been well tested. Every time I have problems with random items, I find something, I try to pick it up and put it in the bag and ... the item disappears, it is neither in the bag nor in the game. Restarting the game helps miraculously and the item reappears in the game. This is the game's biggest problem (not the only one). It's hard to feel the story when you lose a key item every time and you need to restart. Oculus version.

DISCLAIMER: I only completed Chapter 1 before the game crashed to a state where my existing game is unplayable, and the game's just not interesting enough for me to start over. For something that the gaming media has been touting as a game with Myst-influence, it...just isn't. This is yet another mobile game in VR form. The prologue is too long, and has no bearing on the rest of the story. Loading times take long enough where the VR headset times out back to the SteamVR "holodeck" between maps Maps are too dark to the point where critical items to completing puzzles are easily missed. Collisions aren't well placed, so its easy to end up inside of a wall or gate. For me specifically, after a certain point in chapter 2, the game began crashing to the point where you could see objects and scenery flickering in and out. And, on reload, some of the needed objects respawned in locations that had become inaccessible. There is nothing Myst-inspired about this game. I don't know if I'll be able to recommend it even after all the issues are fixed, but I'm certainly not able to recommend it in its current state.

This game plays absolutely fine with Valve INDEX CONTROLLERS! For this pricetag the game is totally fine I even found it pretty nice. The majority of the negative reviews are about the outdated gameplay, like teleportation... seriously? Give me a break. Should there be an option for free-loco? Yes, always in VR games nowaday but a negative review with that kind of game? Nah. This is a very slow paced point and click puzzle game ala Myst. Poin...and...click. Not a fast paced action shooter where you need to run like crazy. And stop with the "I want to explore and look around"-BS...you can this with TP too. If this game would have no left hand support, THEN it would be a problem, but that's a whole other story for other VR games and their developers. If it hast both options I still would use tp because with this slow paced game I don't want to walk slowly to every place in that game. Would be like the transition videos in old FMV games. If I am right in the middle of a puzzle I want to jump from one part to another and not walk constantly all the way to it. I really don't see the benefit of smooth loco here. Keep in mind what this game costs for that the graphics are pretty. Some animations may be stiff but okay. Can't see someone complaining about for example Phasmophobia where the animations are a joke (still fantastic game). Don't let the negativ reviews keep you from buying and testing this game. Judge by yourself because if you really don't like it, you still can refund, which I won't.
