  Otaku's Rage Waifu Strikes Back is a game based on a match 3 type combat system. From a gameplay perspective, this is the most dominant aspect of the game if you just want to rush through the game quickly you'll be annoyed that you can't win every fight on the first try. Visually it's beautiful, personally I might be a bit biased but I love this kind of artstyle. This feeling was even more intensified when I saw how nice and smooth the animations in the h-scenes are. The story feels short but rounded as a whole. The protagonist wakes up in a fantasy world and must win in order to return. The characters look good and writing is quite humorous. The whole thing has a fun feel good vibe. Simple but fun.

  (I came back the next day to edit the review, as I have calmed down. Realizing that the game isn't THAT bad... I decided to flip my review rating. It was fun and I may come back and some time beat the witch... If I can... Seriously. I also have to point out that the hero constantly says "UM"... Guys know more than just that word. How is it "Otaku's Rage", if he speaks better in reality, but not in the fantasy setting? And he never once RAGED against anyone... Maybe the witch? But even then he was like "why am I doing this"? Anyway, have fun or don't. It's up to you.) While this game starts off fun and you are like "Yeah! Here are some Match-3 puzzles to play against enemies! And upgrades!" or the male version "Finish Puzzle. Do Female. Again."... In the end however... You will forget that this game has any lewd content and want to just rage. First of all, your HP never goes above 1000. The last boss has 2400 and I bought ALL upgrades and I still can't beat the last boss. I also tried to lose on the 4th mission for two specific girls... And I won by pure luck. But if you do the 4th AFTER MISSION... I don't even know who can win that. Animation sure, there is animations and a free DLC, but UM... I wasn't here for that, so that one is on you... Just going to say that the animation is fine, but not the best. How about that? ALSO MATCH-3 IS SO SLOW! I play A LOT of these and this one makes me WAIT... Because women keep attacking the MC! AND when you enter the match? You get punched in your face! For a lot of damage too! GOOD JOB LETTING THE MC DEFEND!!! There is also no pattern on attacks... They can keep hitting you for like 400+ damage constantly and you only heal around 100. Anyway, I don't know if there are voices, because they terrify me. Maybe that was random, but I need something else to focus on because I GOT the BOSS to 82 HP and lost over and over again. WHAT'S THE POINT OF OWNING EVERYTHING?! And apparently the "SKILLS" are not active skills, but rather add points to your current numbers...? Hmm...

  Its alright. Art is nice, price is nice, but it's fairly easy once you figure it out and then it's done, cuz its a really short game. I wish they would charge a bit more for more gameplay, maybe random events, anything that breaks the mould. Dare to dream devs!

  Gameplay was fun and not too hard to complete. Art was nice too. All the gal's bosoms are as big as mine hehe! I liked that some of them had toys too :3
