  Pros -Surprisingly deep building management -Good scenes Cons -Match 3 gameplay is lackluster and feels tacked on -While paying for microtransactions is not necessary, that doesn't stop them from trying -Kind of occupies a weird design space between being a freemium mobile game that wants you to keep playing it and a normal building management game Conclusion Not a terrible building management game, but the design feels kind of odd. I feel like this wanted to be a gacha game, but just kind of ended up in kind of an odd middle ground instead where they still want you to log in daily/weekly and pay for microtransactions, but there isn't really anything to motivate you to do so. The Match 3 minigame is clunky and feels like an afterthought. Overall, it isn't bad, but it just feels like they are trying to mash conflicting elements together and it didn't really work.

  I'm gonna assume everyone looking at the reviews for this game is over 18. How else would you find it? Love Tavern is a lackluster copycat of an older flash game, "zum Damenhous", but with better graphics and one voice actress. The gameplay of Love Tavern is grouped into three stapled-together segments: a "management" segment, a "slide puzzle" segment, and the h-content. Starting with the positives: the h-content isn't terrible, but it's on-par with artist CG's you can view online for free. The only thing you'd miss is the voice acting, which is also pretty lackluster. Every character sounds the same, which only makes me wonder why they added voices in the first place. If you muted every character, the game would only improve. So, how do you get the H-Scenes? You hire a girl to your Love Tavern, and play through their "story". Management phase: it's barely a game. You build rooms, watch guests eat food or go to the sauna or whatever, and that's it. There's nothing to manage: your bread and butter is going to be sending employees on missions for gold and whatever. So, why have the tavern if it's superfluous to every other aspect of the game? The only function it serves to the gameplay and setting is as a backdrop for the lackluster H-scenes. Story time: listening to each unique girl's story unlocks their H-scene. As stories, they're fairly lackluster. Unrequited love, typical Elf Shit (TM), etc. The voice actress does these, too; again, every character sounds like every other character. There's pointless dialogue options that only serve to waste your time, and your reward for successfully picking one button after a minute of prattling is a match-three "game" that [i]another[/i] game did better, "Isekai Quest". Imagine drinking the blandest milkshake ever. Like, overcooked oatmeal-flavored. And there's wood chips mixed in. The H-scenes are the whipped cream on that mostly-mediocre, occasionally painful treat. If you want a good H-management style game, try zD or "Monster Girl Club Bifrost". If you want one that's nothing but match-3, play "Isekai Quest". I don't remember what I spent to buy this, but it's probably too much.

  If your here for porn, congratulations its got porn. And you can see the porn fairly easily so wont take to long to unlock. My dislike is due to the bugs, the longer you play the worse it gets. Having expensive girls disappear from your roster is frustrating. And the game can't handle being played for long periods of time as the quest menu glitches out often and girls will get stuck requiring you to exit and reload regularly. If your just here for the smut its a good price for that. If your here for the game play its not worth it unless they get the bugs fixed. With the current bugs the game becomes annoying to play late game as you need to exit and reopen the game to fix bugs.

  Im leaving a positive review, despite the game's flaws. The game can be fun for a few hours, but keep in mind it has some memory optimization problems. The longer the game runs, the slower everything gets, but you can fix that temporarily with a restart of the game. The management aspect is interesting, you basically have to balance your finances so you earn enough to buy more girls, so you can earn even more. There is hentai, nudity and puzzle minigames to unlock it for each girl (except the humans).

  Don't bother. The tavern management part of the game boils down to building rooms, hiring some staff and waiting for coins to pop. No challenge or any real entertainment. You can cook food - by playing a 1-button super-slow minigame to stop a pointer in the middle of a line. And out of nowhere there's a simple match-3 game thrown in when viewing character stories. It doesn't even run well and quickly slows to a crawl needing frequent restarts to keep running.

  Early Access review here but here's my thoughts, going to give it a positive review for now and hope it irons out the kinks. The game is very slow to get into the swing of things, which is why I see many reviews saying the game is pretty basic. once you have equipment unlocks and retraining it can be a good loss of time just trying to make the perfect brothel with absolutely perfect characters. The H-scenes are also serviceable, some get a little cartoonish yet on others its damn nice, could easily fix the bad ones with some editing. (It should go into the vagoo, not what looks like a slit in paper near the vagoo. this isn't 2001 and we're not on new grounds anymore) The stories for the girls are also decent enough and gives some world building. Now for the bad. I honestly believe they were planning this to be a mobile title and halfway through realized "Wait.... what do you mean Apple Store/Google Play doesn't allow lewd...? sheeet...." Cause its got a lot of weird "mobile" traits about it. Like trickle reward quests and they even had one time limited quest, thankfully this was scrapped and it was made into a quest you can activate but their mindset really was into a "mobile" thinking with quest intially. There's also the puzzle sections during the stories that make me scratch my head as to why they are there. They really cannot be lost due to additional turns only costing 1k gold so even if it gives you a bad setup you can keep throwing gold at the problem till you win. These puzzles also have 1-3 star ranking yet there's nothing outside "seeing them in that screen" that makes this feature need to exist. Also this has to be said. Why does the game run so damn slow? Are you guys mining crypto? There really shouldn't be huge full 1-2 second delays between opening menus or claiming rewards. I see a lot of potential for this game if it can get out of a mobage mindset, I hope they can figure things out cause overall this was a positive experience and I'd like them to make this into something great.

  The game is original and better than I expected. It's a business + resource management + time waster. We manage a tavern where some services are presented to customers: food, sauna, hotspring and massage. We hire girls to work on 2 of those services (food, massage), while the other 2 don't require girls. There are also in-house needs to be handled: cleaning, healthcare, training, and we send girls to do hunt for ingredients for cooking. We grow the tavern by adding more rooms where more services are placed. Customers pay for services and we spend money paying girls salary, rooms maintenance and buying and upgrading stuff. If we profit on the weekend, the tavern owner gives us rewards. The game is a time waster because all actions take some secs or mins to complete. Most renew automatically, some like questing and training needs manual send of the girls because we must choose who. We must manage demand and supply, because if some service has more demand than supply the customers will have to wait on a queue, while the opposite leaves the room with no customer. There's the guest room where customers stay while waiting, when the(se) room(s) is(are) full no more customer will arrive, even if some service is empty. There's a recruitment shop where girls randomly appear applying for job. They randomly have a talent from 4 (cooking, massaging, cleaning, fighting) so we must wait for some apply whose talent matches what we're needing. We may train girls to lvlup on talents, but they are random and we can't choose which talent will be lvled therefore it's very hard to get any girl to be fully lvled on a talent. There's no battle, questing is just sending a girl to do some quest for the loot. When the time completes she arrives back with the loop and we send her to next quest. The tavern has a limit of max rooms we can build, so we gotta choose wisely what service to grow. In a few hours playing I got the tavern fully built and overprofiting. The game isn't hard, there's no losing. Bad management just makes progress slower, but there was nothing I did wrong that couldn't be undone with proper time and income. And now the reason everybody play the game. All the girls are cool, character design is pretty. There's only 1 dubber who dubs all the girls, that's sad but understandable, and she's good and interprets each girl's personality. Each girl has its background story to be read and 4 chapters to be unlocked on a tetris-like minigame (IDK the name of it, it's very common on mobile). I had just started unlocking girls chapters, because this minigame is very very boring and we gotta keep spending gold to buy more moves, so it can be done only after the tavern is advanced and we have high balance. I'll post a comment later if completing the 4 chaps unlocks some H scene. H scenes are available on the massage service, so we gotta make sure to get all girls with massage talent and enough massage rooms for them. I had to restart the game when I figured that. Oddly, as far as I could see, while normal dialogs are available only on english, H scenes have english and a jap seiyuu dubbing them. *For the H scenes be available, I had to open the game from the 18+ DLC on Steam client instead of the main game. It seems there are ways to install the DLC, but running the game from it on Steam client worked for me and I left it like that.* Sadly the game has some issues. It doesn't support ultrawide resolution nor 1440p, I had to play it in a window smaller than monitor. It uses mobile tap UX, instead of scrolling we gotta drag and drop screens. The autocooking and the building scrolls are very annoying to find the exact point to drag. I haven't searched for it, but I'm sure it's a mobile game ported to PC. As I said, we can train girls to lvlup talents, but the talent point earned is random, so it's very hard to have a girl on high talent rank. I'd had been better if training was harder and we could choose the talent. The game doesn't have microtransaction, but having to buy moves on the chaps minigame implies that during development they were planning to have microtransaction at least on this part, or at minimum designed it to be easy to implement if they'd wanna. The business management part is fun, but time waster isn't. At least cooldowns are short and I rarely had nothing to do while waiting.

  Without the adult DLC there are no hentai scenes! You manage a tavern, in which there are other services for the guests besides food and drink. Most of your workers are female mythical creatures. Many of the girls have their own story, which you can unlock by playing match 3. The managing and expanding of your tavern is really fun. Actual problems: After some time in the game the menus are slowing down a bit. Saving and reloading helps. The frame rate stays constant.

  I'm honestly conflicted giving this the thumbs down, but I'd feel much the same giving it the thumbs up too... I kinda wish Steam had a "meh" option for reviews. Anyway, I think most will agree that we get H-games for the H; which this game does VERY well. The CGs are top-notch and the animations, though limited, are decent enough, and the characters span a surprisingly wide range. Sadly, that's about the only good thing I can say. The UI is an absolute mess, the BGM & SFX are mediocre at best, the story is practically non-existent, the gameplay is basically a combination of an idle-farmer that doesn't run while idle with match-3 segments, and the hardware demand is stupidly high for what you're getting. There really is no reason to play this game other than the H, which is mercifully easy to get to and, as already stated, quite good... but is it worth the clusterfuck that is the rest of the game? I don't think so, no... 4/10
