THE UNIQUES: 💎A Gladiator school? PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS: 💼Simulation. 💼Management. 💼Strategy. VERDICT: This game is quite the mess, the visuals are terrible, the music is boring along with the sound effects, and the game has it's fair share of bugs which should've been dealt with before it's full release. I can't criticise the gameplay too much since I did get a little enjoyment out of this and I would've gotten so much more if it wasn't for the bugs. The biggest issue would be the amount of bugs I came across during my play through, I'll list the main bugs: After a fight, I was unable to click my warriors back at the school to tell them what to do, this is the biggest issue I had, the only way to solve this would to send my warriors to bed. Which brings me to the next bug, The 'Go to sleep' button is no longer popping up when night time comes, so these two bugs together can make things very tedious. Next to that, it is no longer getting dark so my warriors aren't getting enough sleep because of this, making them cranky and enraged very often. If you're still interested in getting this game, please buy it on a big sale, it's not worth the original asking price in this state. Total Score = 21/100. GAMEPLAY: Gladiator School is a Tycoon-style simulation game. You play as the master of a newly formed school for gladiators. Your job is to prepare and train recruits before you send them away to fight for their survival and entertain the crowd in the arena. ■■□□□□□□□□ 2 / 10 Asking for a review before quitting the game.   The gladiator RPG has been an almost untapped market until this point. There have been games that almost scratch the itch to run a gladiator school but, they all fell short in certain aspects. This game, while it may have its flaws, is an early access game with a lot to show for already! There is pretty fun controlling of the gladiator's lives, combat, and things that they do outside of your school. I personally enjoy this game very much and would recommend it to anyone looking to have some fun with gladiators. Since this game is actually and early access game, it gives me hope that there can be even more great things to do in this game. I hope that they come up with great additions to the game and listen to their customers about other things that should be implemented as well. While this game is quite good, I believe that it could be a lot better if they fix a few bugs like not being able to send your guard to do anything in the school and the workout schedule not working right. We all know that these things will certainly be fixed soon and when those things are fixed the game will be even better! I really enjoy this game but I believe that there are some things that could make it better. While these things aren't needed to make the game good in anyway, seeing them introduced would definitely be a welcomed sight! Skip things like waking into arena and seeing rewards from battles. Kick people out of their rooms so another person can live there. Send people to bed to get them well rested. A real market that you can visit at any time to buy or sell weapons and armor, food, wood, and slaves. Allow us to destroy built things like rooms and equipment. There should be public punishments like whipping the slaves to boost the morale of everyone. Allow the AI to surrender in combat when they have low health instead of just getting killed. A worshipping system would be amazing but only if you feel up to it. We really don't need it in the game. With this system, the player will be able to make offerings of blood or gold in order to make the gods happy and get better results in the arena.

  Feels like a free flash game that could be had on Kongregate. Pretty simple game, not worth ten dollars. Don't waste your time, this will not scratch that gladiator school itch.. Age of Gladiators still #1 gladatior game on steam IMO.

  Game is surprisingly fun for how basic it is, although 10 bucks seems a bit expenive for the same simplistic reason. This last update is bulls**t however. Before, you could pick what moves your gladiator did in the arena. Now it's "advanced AI" just does it's ultimate until your stamina is completely drained. Matches that should only take 3 moves to win now take 20 and I get to the point of wanting to throw my computer at a wall. I still recommend this game, but get your sh*t together Raptor Claw.

  It´s not really much fun and very repetitive. Fights can last for like 4-5min and you can´t do anything in a fight but watch them, the AI is stupid in the fights. If your opponent has 0 stamina, he can´t block or attack. But still your own fighter decides to block (an attack which will never happen because the opponent can´t attack with 0 stamina) instead of getting the free hit. This is just very stupid game design. I´ve only played like 70min and I was already bored doing the same stuff over and over again. 1) Train X 2) Go to Bath 3) Train X 4) Go to Bath 5) Train X 6) Sleep 7) Cook some meals 8) Train X 9) Go to Bath 10) Fight a battle 11) Train X 12) Go to Bath 13) Sleep 14) Cook some meals repeat forever Sound like fun doesnt it?

  This game is really simple and fun, but when you play it for the first time it's kind of frustating and you'll become a pro at the game in no time. Since this game is simple it can get really boring easily, but since more updates are coming soon I'd expect the game to become more improved. I reccomend this game to anyone who likes gladiators and Ancient Rome like me.

  "I have been playing this game from BETA for about 6 months now, I cant recommed this game as it should still be early access, it's nowhere near complete yet and should never have got its full release. The Storyline isnt finished and a lot of the NPC text refers to features that either havent been implemented or have been deleted in BETA. Hopefully the Devs will finish the game, yet when they released ProGamer Managerthey promised so much, yet produced so little after its full release, even offering a free copy of ProGamer Manager 2 to people who bought the original. They made this instead and it looks like another half-finished cash-grab. I hope I'm wrong as it is a fun little game, but nowhere near finished yet." Edit* The updates were terrible, left an unfinished game. 3 years later reskinned a later game as an update. Shocking.

  An interesting but entirely unfinished game I bought for less than the cost of a soda. Worth all 119 pennies. Most features are not entirely finished, but the game is playable. If you are looking for any tactical depth, you won't find it here. Plays like a slow and dumbed down Swords and Sandals.

  After a short time it becomes very boring. There is no strategy. Once you understand in which category each gladiator will have to fight you will have to pass dozens and dozens of very boring matches just to climb the categories and repeat the same operation an exhausting number of times.
