  Honestly, just get Velocidrone. This simulator is not accurate for racing or freestyle. Much better options available (non with as good of music however). Pros - Great UI (8/10) - Banger sound track (10/10) - Great map selection for first day Cons - Physics feel very floaty (no option to remove helium from the drone). - Changing any of the in game settings for drag, thrust, etc do almost nothing - The game has frame timing issues and stutters at any graphics level - Only 5 drones to pick from (and none of them feel good) at the time of this review

  Unfortunately, this game falls into the realm of mediocrity. With numerous options available in the first-person view (FPV) simulator genre, this particular game fails to stand out. The handling of the drone is disappointingly floaty and unrealistic, as if you're navigating through a vacuum devoid of any air. Despite experimenting with the various drone settings, I noticed no discernible impact on the overall experience. Adjusting them to their highest or lowest values yielded no noticeable changes. Graphically, the game resides in the middle ground, lacking the visual prowess of more impressive titles. Additionally, I encountered frequent stuttering issues during gameplay, further detracting from the immersion. The levels themselves suffer from a lack of creativity and excitement, leaving a sense of emptiness. It becomes apparent that the shipyard level is excessively reused, contributing to a repetitive and monotonous gameplay experience. For a superior FPV sim experience, I recommend exploring alternatives such as Liftoff, Tryp, Velocidrone, and uncrashed, which offer substantially better gameplay and features.

  I'm really disappointed with this one. I was really looking forward to EreaDrone for quite some time. Unfortunately, that's been the case with most of these sims lately. When you get the physics correct, they can be timeless. While some games are older, they get the MOST important thing correct when it comes to Drone Simulators, and that's the physics! Graphics do not matter if you can't get a Quad to feel good when flying. EreaDrone is unplayable for me. I have a decent computer (3070 & i7 10700k) and it stutters in most environments, and very often. The only maps that run okay are the incredibly small maps, but they still don't feel as smooth like Velocidrone or Liftoff. They also have some very weird "out of bounds" with nothing but a sky box floating around the map. You should be able to fly to the edge of a tiny map without telling you to return back to the map constantly. The "Tiny" drone, aka Whoop, feels awful to fly. It somehow has no power, but gains a ton of forward momentum, and feels like gravity is just yanking it back to the ground. I fly small quads in real life. While it can be difficult, gravity feels far more manageable in reality than in most of these sims. EreaDrone is using Unity, which is surprising, because usually I much prefer that for sims to Unreal. The way the gravity changes in this game feels like the problem most Unreal games run into. Gravity is very inconsistent. Sometimes everything is floaty, while other times you feel like the game gave up on calculations and you just fall to the ground way too fast. I also don't like having to register to a third party for a Steam game. That trend needs to die already. You should only have to register when purchasing a game that's not on a gaming service platform like Steam.

  I personally don't recommend this game just yet, it's still early and needs some work, great concept and plenty of modes to enjoy. Honestly there's still more room to improve: 1. We need an Arm/Disarm switch. 2. Audio for drones suck. 3. Please allow us to move before the countdown ends so we can position ourselves before launch. 4. the drones need to be better tuned, more specifically the tiny whoop. I never had to struggle so much to keep a tiny whoop in the air, my throttle should be kicking in below center point and not way up at the 75% threshold. I don't know how well the tuning works, but please tweak your drones. 5. the gate markers are lacking dimension, I swear I hit the markers a few times and it hasn't went off. 6. Luckily I can turn off the race lines, those things were blocks of confusion. 7. I do enjoy the challenge mode so far, no complaints yet. 8. as for a "realistic" sim, this is only the beginning and I can see great potential if the devs do their research and roll out diligent upgrades. Overall, I'd give this sim a 6.5/10 for now, I bought the game, it kept me flying for an hour or something close. I'm looking forward to this sim growing from here.

  Ok so i do Love this game. Graphics and most of the physics are right on point. like how you spin out by hitting tree limbs. only a few things id change : i agree with the others when they say that the quad is bit too Floaty, and when you change the 'weight' of it, it really only only changes the amount of torque required to lift and doesnt add gravity at all. id love for the Prop SOUNDs to be less ear peircing, like a lower tone or something.. i feel like when you crash- more often that not you will end up upside down. and even though it allows you to set keybinds to flip over, they dont seem to work and i have to use the keyboard.. and then i like to do slide landings but it doesnt allow it at all really... Overall Fix the Floaty and this game will be my go-to. :)

  For me, EreaDrone is a very polyvalent and complete sim. The map editor is very easy to use, and for those who don't like creating maps, the ones already in game are really good and they are huges compared to others sim ! The controller setup is easy to use and I like that the controller is recognized automatically. Drones have many settings for personal preferences and I managed to get the same settings as mine in real life. For the graphics, they are excellent, even in Medium setings the games looks clean. Overall, I recommend this sim, its perfect for both beginners as well as advanced pilots !

  Right about the worst physics. The game is unplayable for me and stutters every 5 or so seconds. I do not have a toaster for a computer as all other simulators run smoothly. I don't know what FAI is doing making a competition in this awful simulator. 2/10 main menu is kinda cool Edit: The game is so bad that even closing it down doesn't work. I think the game might be mining crypto on my computer in the background and thats why the physics suck so much idk.
