Needs a bit more spit and polish and more challenging tracks maybe, but the track editor should make some nice community tracks possible down the line. One thing that can never beat this game bundled with its looks, the epic soundtrack made by Myrone. It just breaths 80s and early 90s arcade racer.

If your looking for a finished product your in the wrong place. After 9 years the game is finally here, not finished and full of bugs (Some game/experience breaking) but imo that's okay, this game has had a rough development life (check their twitter) and I'm happy to see it finally released to the public and with plans to grow in the future via the current dev team and workshop from the community. I hope to see improved/fixed car audio and some tighter technical courses in future updates. Props to the devs for never giving up!

it's alright, but heck is it buggy, some suggestions that should of already been done before you even released the game, is that you fix collisions to start off with, secondly if you don't want us to use certain "features" disable it, there is nothing more annoying than having to go to the manual just to find out you should not use the feature, thirdly, and probably the most importantly when we pause the game in the controls section show a list of every control and then a remap option, i shouldn't have to be alt tabbing to figure out how to move break or do basic functions, forth a tutorial level would be insanely useful, and fifth please just please do something about the constant revving in the pause menu, this game i probably not worth the price it is, i think the game should be at least 2 dollars, considering how unfinished and buggy it is, so is this worth the purchase? sadly not right now, i'd wait a little longer until the game is more finalised, but if you just want a game where you can drive around in DeLorean's and make funky car designs sure buy it, but honestly probably just wait for a sale. also to the creators if you ever decide to make the game free, give the people who bought the game a special item or something, because heck there is barely anything to do and at this stage 14 dollars is a bit of a rip off.

After 8 long years, it's finally out, and playable. And kind of garbage... The game looks great, and the music is great, and that's about where the great things end. It feels reasonably fun to play, but the controls don't all work for me. Boost and manual gears just wouldn't work. The tracks are so uninspiring that you're just full throttle 99% of the time, with a few dabs of brake to initiate drifts. I don't mind that the drifts are easy, it's an arcade game, but it's so simple that it's not engaging. Either more complex tracks or more complex drift mechanics are required, and either is unlikely to happen at this point. I know there's community options, but I don't want to rely on that when the game will sell badly in this state. Most unbearable is the car audio. The engine note seems bugged with the camera, so driving while looking at the side of the car sounds fine, but behind the car, how you actually drive, sounds like you're constantly on the rev limiter br-br-br-br-ing along. It's terrible. It's on me for getting excited and assuming the game had progressed while I'd completed two separate degrees, lived through a pandemic and moved continents, but I guess not. The game feels about the same, game play wise, as one of the early demos. We've now got a skin editor though! I think I'll refund and keep an eye on it.

Amazing. Love it. Myrone's music just fits perfectly! Add 1980's ambulance to vehicles :P and this game will be priceless (literally a jewel) (Edited: Make cars customizable like to add spoilers, glowing wheels, police/ambulance lightbar, siren etc, nitro)

Yeah its in a bare bones state but considering the development hell its had in the last 5+ years im just glad it got some kind of release.

This is a difficult one to recommend in its current state. However, considering it's been in development limbo for many years it's not terrible, there's some fun to be had here even if it's little more than a pretty screenshot generator. There's huge potential here, but we need development to start again in order to see it. What I will say about it now is the artwork is incredible, the music is incredible, and given the troubled history this game experienced the least I can do is help spread some positive vibes and give it some support. After all these years I never expected to even see this released, so I'm very grateful for that. Hopefully with enough interest we'll see this product receive some love from the developers. I await with eager anticipation for more news on further development!

Not worth your lunch money for now. Don't be fooled by the pretty art and music the game is very buggy and the "racing" does not work at all. The game is "playable" but it's not even really a game. This game is basically just free roaming three tracks. I respect the attempt at trying to deliver but Super System please get actual programmers because there are a lot of people that want this game not only functional but fun.
