Beautiful visual style, dark setting, great music, good puzzles that really make you think, full gamepad support. I recommend it, after passing it I will definitely play the previous parts of the series.

A cool adventure game in which you need to be smart. An excellent storyline of the game with different endings, various missions with puzzles, so you have to strain your brains. This game is worthy like the other two parts of this game. Thanks to the developers.

Well, as someone who has not played the past parts, what was done for nothing. I liked the game very much, my brain is moving. It seems simple, but not easy ahah.

This is a well-crafted puzzle-adventure game with stunning hand-drawn graphics and a haunting atmosphere. The game's puzzles are challenging but rewarding, and the story keeps you engaged until the very end. The game's use of sound and lighting creates a spooky atmosphere that adds to the overall experience. However, some players may find the gameplay mechanics a bit repetitive at times. Overall, if you enjoy puzzle games and horror stories, this game is a great choice for you.

I thought Creepy Tale 3 was more creative than the first 2, but also much harder, and potentially even more frustrating, and that is saying something. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with making some challenging puzzles, but this game had many puzzles that had very strange solutions, I often felt like I was brute-forcing the game, just problems with consistency, problems with strict timing on the events, and sometimes just having very subtle hints. I literally solved one of the puzzles by using an item during what looked like another cutscene, and the game never established that was a thing. Granted, this game has a few puzzles that could be solved in multiple ways, so your experience could be different from mine. If you play the game blindly it can easily take over 5 hours, and I also only got 11/33 achievements - with a neutral ending I assume. It seems to have some karma system this time, there are a lot of good and bad choices that you can make, with a decent amount of optional events, including many nice death animations and some hidden scenes. Once again I found the ending a bit disappointing, granted I assume you can get a better one, that said, for the most part the locations and characters were interesting, I really enjoyed the chapter with the Dentist. I do think this game is a lot more replayable than the second one, you literally can't see everything on the first playthrough, and if you want to see if those "points" do anything you will have to plan your route very well (a bit too extreme for my liking, but I guess it's there if you want to drop a lot of time in the game) I think it's safe to say that this game had more content and animation in general, felt maybe 30% bigger than the last one, more animated scenes, bigger locations, more deaths, more everything. I will say that I felt like the game was lacking some consistency, there were chapters that were significantly more rewarding to play than others, I personally did not enjoy the castle puzzles, and I thought the timing was a bit annoying. There were still a lot of funny and disturbing moments, I think that is very much the main reason to play the game, just to see if it can surprise you - it's one of those games where it's actually fun to kill the character. I would argue that controls could use a bit of work. This is the second Creepy Tale game that feels like an adventure game, and we still do not have a mouse interface. Not only that, all of the controls are on the left side of the keyboard, so I played the entire game with just my left hand (not sure if it's good or bad, I was using my right hand to eat some food the entire time, maybe they knew it would happen). I don't like that Q opens the inventory but also doubles up as interaction along with E, so when you close the inventory you press ESC, also with left hand.

    Pros:

(+) The game has a lot more optional content than previous releases, I only got 11/33 achievements after beating it, and there are several puzzles that have multiple solutions so you would have to replay the game, probably 3 times to get most of the secrets and hidden scenes. (+) The animation was pretty good as expected, it felt like you put at least 30% more effort than before just adding more detail and hidden events. Just like the last 2 games, you are probably motivated by killing your character every few minutes, and there are many fun ways to go about it. (+) As far as the puzzles, it's a bit subjective, I do feel like you making puzzles that are a lot more complex and dynamic than many similar games, so in that sense, I feel like I should give you credit for it, but I am not sure if it makes it a better experience if they make me angry. The puzzles were pretty creative, even if they were not very logical in many cases. (+) The game is voice acted somewhat decently. There were a few characters that maybe gave a bit too much performance, but for an indie game, I still think it's not bad. The surreal lore and world-building of the game were interesting, even if I did not enjoy the default conclusion.

    Feedback:

Controls - once again no mouse interface even though it plays like any adventure game. You could add walking controls to arrows (have both WASD and arrows), just so you have a choice not to use the left hand the entire time. I think if the Q opens inventory, it should also close it instead of working as E also. I keep using left hand to press Q to open inventory and ESC to close, then why have E for interact if Q overlaps it. Puzzles - the puzzle where you have to use an item during animation is too convoluted, there is nothing in the game that would suggest that it's possible. I think you should make the timing on the clock bridge a bit more forgiving, it's too easy to miss. Ending - the ending that I got was not rewarding at all, I assume you can get other endings (maybe if you go all bad or all good), but man, you should have a decent ending no matter what you do, I just dropped 6 hours into the game for whatever that was. I did not like it, fight me. Is there no way to select specific chapters? Overall Thoughts: 8/10 I probably like this game more than the first 2, but not by much. Even if the game is challenging, I don't want to feel angry at the game, and I actually got pretty tilted with some of the solutions. I thought many of the puzzles were unfair, it just felt like a grind, and I am really not happy with what I assume is a neutral ending cuz I usually don't replay games (felt so short, give me a little more closure). Negatives aside, there were many cool moments with the visuals and I enjoyed the main character, I thought her reactions were very adorable. Personally, I think playing the whole game with a left side of the keyboard is a bit silly, or I should say I look very silly playing it.
