Controls for keyboard&mouse are really bad. Also my pc is really burning while playing this pixel game.

Pretty Graphics with Pixel art Characters Nice Levels and Fire effect. Destruction is neat but not crazy It is a difficult game or can be. I was kind of speed running. You don't have to put out all the Fire. Rescue the couple of peeps or animals is priority. Lot of trial and error At least you still get paid if you lose but half of what you earn. You can still purchase upgrades and earn badges can be added to your outfit to give you some small advantages Levels seem to be Randomly Generated which is great for me as it does not get boring doing the same level over and over. Levels load fast when you begin a game but cannot skip the end results which are not that long just be nice to skip and start over quick. I recommend the game. Many may find it frustrating and difficult. You are on a timer and the building starts to crumble when time is running out Simple controls may take a bit to get use to, Weather you complete the level with rescuing people or animals or miss 1 and end exit the building, you still get some money and not a total loss.

I was really hopeful for this but unfortunately it's a bit lacking and has just a few too many small things holding it back. Randomly generated levels do not go well with platforming, at least not here. The amount of times I've died unfairly or been handed an evac point before finding any victims and am unable to go back into the building is maybe half of the runs I've played? Admittedly runs are short so getting dealt a poorly generated level is not too punishing - even if you immediately die and rescue no-one you still get a reward. So why does the fire chief remind me every single time I enter the hub area that there's a volunteer I should talk to? If runs took upwards of 30 minutes ok but runs take less than 3 minutes - hell most of them take less than 1 minutes each. And then the fire axe - maybe there are upgrades for this later but this damn thing is so slow and although it's supposed to feel weighty it's just off, it feels like the impact happens before you finish the swing animation and sometimes I found myself stuck in the animation several times after pressing the button once? Pair this with a general lack of shine (no dialogue or interactable characters, unskippable post-mission run down, mouse popping onto screen whilst viewing trophies and playing with gamepad) makes for an underwhelming and frustrating experience because the core game play is quite fun! Oh and why is every single F capitalised?

it is okay. but like the firelord it feels like a skeleton game, bare bones if you will. firelord looks cools that's about it there aint real combat just give it a gentle splush and it is dead. also his hp bar looks weird like a stock image as a hp bar. there isnt alot of game, the same '' enemies ' over and over again. they dont really have an attack move. most of the lvl you just dodge the enemies and just rush to the people. so there isnt really any firefighting to do. see red arrow you can proceed to next area see blue barking dog arrow previous room has the survivors. 4.5 maps plaza, brick building, forest , train and end game map no spoiler. but train just hover till the last cart and stop train. wish there was more combat or just have mission that you extinguish the fires. and have mini boss fires use the fire whales as one. give it different move set let it loose. so many things you can do with fire, in real-life we have blue fires, or make wind gust enemies amplify the fires. there can be so much done with fires. just wish there was some form of game play that is better just rush to people and that's all folks to the exit we go.

I like what i see so far. The art is great and reminds me of old school games. I love the concept of playing a firefighter and putting out fires while saving people and animals. The look of using the hose never gets old. Putting out fires is fun. But the game play needs a bit of work: The camera is too close to the character leading to many deaths that don't feel fair. The rag doll physics need to be turned down. Right now the effects are too much making you fly all over the screen leading often to undeserving demises. The art in the foreground can obscure things making it hard to see enemies and items which leads to frustration. A timer constantly ticking down makes you want to go fast but the games view doesn't allow it, as you can never see far enough ahead to deal with enemies in any direction with any real hurry. Seeds for the levels need to be tuned so that they have distribution of water in areas of levels where we need it. Having a bunch show up at the start or end of the missions doesn't help. Exits could use the same kind of love, sometimes you get tons of exits and sometimes you don't find one when you need one. Wasting water on fire that is dying but not obvious is a bit of a pain. Maybe shorten the dying fire animation? Honestly i want to love this game but i cannot recommend it in this state, i'll review if it gets fixes.

TL;DR As of an hour in, it's fun but hard. Can't hardly get through some RNG levels when you have only a few upgrades. I imagine like many games a patch or two will sort out the frustrations a little more and resolve a couple crashes I had. I'd still recommend it and think it's going to really shine with a touch of polish and tweaking. The formula is there. It's fun but there are a few things that frustrate me at the start. Difficulty was variable. Some levels I'd barely get a scratch but more often than not I'd get burned up left and right. RNGesus wasn't kind on the level roulette. Just get used to dying for awhile. It's just part of the early game frustratingly enough. Figuring out exactly how much water to spray on the little fire monster groups was a pain too, I always felt like I was using way too much but then maybe that's just the difficulty part coming up again. waste a ton of water on them to get exta time when really it takes that much time or longer to put them out. If the fire monsters are quickly dodgeable just dodge them. Not really worth putting them out imo. I crashed twice in the 1.4 hours I've played. I'll chalk that up to release day bugs. (0x887A0006 both times Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost.) All that said though, the art and style are really lovely and I like the theme coming up with the Tomes I've found. I hope that gets really nuts as that'd really pull me in but we will have to see.

Great art and soundtrack. Just a little difficult to control the hose especially when you need to jump across. Procedural map generation is cool but sometimes can create annoying combinations of platforms and enemies. Most people won't like the timer but for this game I like it. Creates an urgency to rescue, escape and assess the surrounding quickly. For now I will give it a thumbs up, will update after playing some more.

I really like this game. The updates since the release (3 days after release) have really addressed the serious problems that were hurting this game. The art direction is awesome, and the game is fairly straight forward.

+Good idea to be firefighter. +Art style. +Lots of upgrades. +Game not crash/freeze. +-Kinda hardcore. +-Spending more time in hospital then in game(Run out or time, building fall dow, falling down on rails when train run out on loong distance etc.) +-You cant change buttons(i have no problem with this but some players can have problems) --- Water pressure problem when water tank is emtpy is biggest game problem. Example:I have time so i decide to explore more then i need go up but i cant beacuse no water pressure and time runs out or i need go up where is survivor and cant again, fix to get same water pressure on start but on shorter time. -- Time thing is kinda bad too,how iam suppost rescue 2 survivors when 1 is enought and on second one i lost in building or run out of time, something like 5 mins can be ok on start. - And using hose as water jet really need consume a lot less water(50 perc less),most of time you need do this a lot. Pro tip:Buy soon water pressure boost and then water recharge also you No need kill all fire monsters or rescue all persons and if you want relative fast money go to mission and die fast you still get 1.000 money in 20 sec or less. Update tip:Water hose can be used in moving too but with less accuraci(sometimes i killing group of fire monsters and then fast fire come from left/right side and kill me) Buying firts aid kit can be done in fire station too.

I love this game. There's a lot that the game doesn't tell you. You have to figure stuff out on your own. That might be frustrating in the beginning but once you get the hang of the controls and buy a few upgrades, you'll really start to enjoy this game. Visually it is gorgeous. The music is insanely good. The whole thing is a great time. Edit: I've been playing for 17 hours now and it's still great. New enemies have been added and new features. The pixel art is still absolutely fantastic. The animations are superb.
