  Bought This Game In 2021 Because of Well Polished Arts & Design This Game Got Good Music Cute Cartoons Character's and Graphics Amazing Environment Hard Play through ( 1 st Disadvantage - we can not bind our keys according to our will ) Endearing Personality ( 2nd Disadvantage - Can not run the game @ 30 or 60 fps according to our will ) There Are 55 Steam Achievements & Collectible Batteries

  First of all, I got really rough first impressions of this game because it started really generic and it wasn't easy on top of that, but then I kept at it, I got used to the controls and the levels started to get more complex making the gameplay feel deeper... and I started liking it a lot. The collectables are well hidden and rewarding to find, the bosses are easy (nothing compared to the levels that preceded them) but creative and fun, I was really loving this game and going for the achievements. Then I unlocked arcade mode (A.K.A. Hard mode) where your health slowly drains over time and you take more damage wich wasn't as annoying as I thought it would be. The difference that made this mode a total headache was that bottomless pits now one shot you (on normal they just took a chunk of health) and that made the alternative versions of level 2, 5 and 8 a god damn nightmare. Those three levels alone destroyed most of the enjoyment I've had with the game up to that point and considering that a LOT of people just rage quitted on normal mode says a lot about those three fucking levels. AND TO ADD THE CHERRY ON TOP THE LAST ACHIEVEMENT OF JUST COLLECTING ALL OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS (that I did) IS FUCKING GLITCHED!!! ALL THAT EFFORT AND IN THE END I STILL GET AN INCOMPLETE GAME BECAUSE WELL FUCK ME I GUESS!!! Really, this is a fun throw back game, the art design is gorgeous from the levels to the characters, the game is fun even if also retro hard (those 3 levels on arcade mode just a bit more I guess) but as a completionist I feel bad recomending this game and casual gamers seem to not even finish the normal levels so I really don't think I can say this game is appealing to anything other than masochists.

  Really fun coop-game to play with friends. Some parts are a little hard and that's exciting but you can beat it if you try again. You can play too single to advance in the campaign and know the history. The game is focused both in coop-mode like in single-mode. We are playing 2 hours and looks like it's more game to play.

  Good game! if you have 15-30 min of spare time it's an excelent choice. Better if you play it with firends in coop mode.

  played joe & mac years ago one SNES it was smash hit it was also on NES & gameboy but never got around on getting them in time they made sequel to that game played kinda like adventures of link but without getting magic HP+ MP+ more like go here to this level incounter boss & beatem so when i 1st saw this game on kickstarter i was all in grab everything i could get out this investment will get them on PS4 & xbox one soon gameplay is just like the joe & mac series only this time played characters with there kind of abilities worthly game of the year

  This review I'm writing slightly ahead of when I normally would primarily since I'm doing this game single player, and this game is VERY HARD single player. This game is very obviously designed with multiplayer in mind. And the levels and difficulty reflect that. This is a game I highly recommend to play if you have a few friends over, but not really if you are on your own.

  Unable to disable controller, so I have two players mapped to exactly the same controller.

  Terrible level design, filled with cheap traps. Not a quality platformer in any way. Visuals are nice I guess, but that's the only thing going for it. Not even worth a few bucks on a sale, skip it and buy an actually good platformer like Castle in The Darkness. Just as cheap, underrated as hell too.

  Hated this game, controls are awful with a controller. Also too difficult to start with. Waste of money for me.
