  I'll admit, this game did get me hard a few times, so I'll give it some credit there, but it wasn't enough, that's for sure. Story-wise, its more or less that you play a woman that's fed some hardcore aphrodisiac that turns her into a horn dog such that she's willing to become a consensual rape victim (is that possible?) to every single male she meets. You get raped everywhere you go; as a server or sexpot in the local brothel, while you're fighting orcs, meeting your boss, it doesn't matter; you have a hole or two and they're meant to be penetrated. You like it when it happens but then suddenly snap out of it and realize it was pretty messed up. Gameplay-wise, this game just blows. I did find out after the fact that there is some sort of exploit you can use that makes the combat simpler (by fleeing every time? I don't know, I didn't try it), but if you play it legit like I did, it's just terrible. Early on, you spend most of your time defending yourself to heal so battles just take too long ... and there are far too many of them and there's at least a few hours of it. And it really stinks, it gets in the way of the story, and it's frustrating. I left and came back to this game 3 or 4 times because of it. I only finally returned to complete it, get all the achievements, and write this review. Graphics are okay, not good, but okay and like I said, I did get hard a few times. But every guy is this the same creepy mannequin-looking dude; there are some nice schlongs to look at, don't get wrong, but overall; it's extremely repetitive and the graphics aren't that good. I say pass and I'm not sure I would even recommend at steep discount; there are too many other options out there that won't frustrate you the way the combat in this game does.

  Pretty good, its fun game tho, this game required 2-3 Hours for completing this game.

  ITS NOT THAT BAD SO FAR i dont know whats going on but this is not a bad game its just hard and a bit grindy but most good rpgs are not saying this is good yet but its not bad i like it so far

  Hentai Game Review

  I have seen this game for a long while on steam and I really like the unique Artstyle, but the mixed reviews held me back and no one really said why exactly the game is bad. Now I realize why that is the case. Art The most apparent thing is the way characters are drawn very round and plump, everything is really colourful and full of detail. This extents to most things, although the main issue might be that there isn't that much of it. There aren't many original images and the scope of the game is really small. For the price I would say its okay considering the good artwork. Fetishes The game is mostly vanilla, there isn't anything special inside aside some prostitution, monster stuff which is at this point expected. The corruption part, or rather the “chains of lust” the game promises is quite undeveloped. There is some lust meter but you can just grind it to max very fast by doing the same event over and over, nothing really changes except that you can have the new events, its not like dialogue changes really or you unlock a lot, except prostitution during nighttime which feels rather tacked on and very random. Sound Mostly uses stock RPG maker sounds, although it offers snippets of voiced expressions from the protagonist and some noises during events like kisses and other mouth sounds. Gameplay If that would have been all to it I would have still recommended the game due to its incredible good art design. The problem is that the gameplay absolutely doesn’t support the hentai game nature of it. Not only is there a lot of combat, which is rather grindy but very easy if you only focus on bosses, but also very slow. Even on the fastest animation speed the combat is just so slow that of the 3 hours I played, 2 of it was probably combat the rest reading and skipping through dialogue. If a hentai game has some combat to reward the player with new scenes thats fine, but it shouldn’t be the main focus or be that obnoxious. Incorporating the hentai element is something some games already do in order to actually make it a proper “game” Story Completely forgettable and also ends in a somewhat of a cliffhanger that probably wont get resolved as I couldn’t find anything about the devs next projects, Main heroine is the average unlikeable bratty girl and gets extorted while having to do some random dungeon crawler missions. Not really good. Conclusion/TL;DR I don’t really recommend the game as the only thing I actually liked was the artstyle. The combat is obnoxiously long, taking most of the games gameplay and the dialogue wasnt really interestening neither was the story, there is just no erotic nature through the writing conveyed to the player nor through the games gameplay systems. 2/5 Barely fappable

[h1]Gameplay[/h1] A standard RPGMaker game with fetch quests and turn-based combat. You gear-up before and after battle, and use a variety of combat and magic techniques to secure a victory. Combat is absurdly hard — I died on the first battle. The [b]first[/b] battle. This needs some balance ASAP. [h1]Story[/h1] The residents of the mining town of Arden have been disappearing. Camille of the Bellfont family receives a letter requesting that she investigate the matter. She will find herself head-first into lusty baddies, and tied in some scheme to dethrone her father as head of her family. [h1]Visuals[/h1] The titlescreen looks [b]great![/b] I didn't know that RPGMaker was capable of such a screen, I'm honestly impressed. From "Options" you may adjust audio, display and gameplay preferences. The interface as a whole is attractive, though not too far from the standard RPGMaker interface. Regardless, it's a functional and well organized. While I did see a number of generic sprites, there is enough original content to make the game stand out among similar titles (in terms of graphics). I enjoy the fact this game is rendered in a 16:9 aspect ratio, allowing it to fill the screen — most RPGMaker titles that I have played are rendered in 4:3 windows. [b]- The Goods-[/b] There are a total of thirty-two base CGs to see. Most of the CGs revolve around the protagonist and her allies, in [i]less than desirable[/i] sexual situations. The artwork is igh-quality, and I'm comfortable calling it "top-notch". I didn't like the way that CGs are imposed on-screen, much like decals or stickers. Expect male-on-female sexual content. [h1]Verdict[/h1] [b]Yes![/b] I recommend this game! However, I strongly suggest waiting for an update or two. The artwork is heckin' awesome, and the developers had the integrity [i]not[/i] to release a buggy, mis-translated piece of crap. . . for the most part, at least. I did experience a gamebreaking bug, and I strongly recommend saving often (which you should [i]always[/i] be doing.[/i] Additionally, the game was very laggy for me from the get-go — I recommend minimizing the number of applications you have open when you run this game, since RPGMaker doesn't always play nice with other programs.   Movement camera is laggy, and the combat is very difficult. The game as a whole is a little rough around the edges but it has potential to be good. Id say wait about a month or two and see where this game is going before buying it.

  Avaria is a RPG maker hentai sex game with boring combat. Hands down. The first 20 minutes will give you an idea of how difficult and grindy it is. I will give it some credit. The guys worked REALLY hard on this. For that you must give them your respect. I feel like it was rushed by the publisher and they had to release it a bit early with bugs despite this game being delayed twice. The sex scenes are pretty good. Not too much animation. Mainly stills. However, the art is fantastic and the sounds are top notch. Combat de evolves into the same two buttons. Attack, and defend. You use defend to essentially heal yourself back up. It lowers the damage you take and heals you. This is a pretty OP ability. You never need items again unless you're up against 2 or 3 mobs and the damage is just too much for guard to effectively heal. But usually, you'll find yourself taking massive amounts of damage from just goblins and needing to spam guard like 5 times to heal back up so you can continue with the dungeon. You do this because the mobs do WAY too much damage early on and sometimes you fight 2 or 3. Initially I was killing 3 mobs then running back to town to use the inn. I did this....before i found out about guard. Skills are also here but the abilities don't tell you much. No information about how much damage they do. You just have to hope for the best. Also, you run out of mana after 3 or 4 spells early on. This gets slightly easier around lvl 10 but you have to grind for a bit. It doesn't take long to level...but it's monotonous and boring because combat again, de evolves into using two abilities and spamming guard until you're topped off for the next encounter In conclusion, this is just another RPG Maker hentai sex game made for very little money. The talent is there. Absolutely. Developers, please don't read this and think I don't consider your hard work. The art work and H scenes are actually really good. I have to warn everyone about the nature of the H scenes. Most of them are forced sex. Literally 1 minute into the game and a girl is getting raped by 3 goblins. A lot of forced penetration here and the protaganist is a goody girl that eventually gets hit on so many times and has goblins force their rod's down her throat so much...that she actually starts to like it all. Hell, the starting town has a brothel. So if you have a forced fetish you'll probably enjoy this RPG. Unfortunately I had to refund from sheer boredom.

  I like this game. It definitely doesn't compare to the great ones (Meltys and the like), but for it's price it's a decent game. The art is really nice, sound design is decent, but it is your run of the mill rpgm gameplay loop. I didn't struggle with the difficulty personally, even before the patch. Yes, you do seem to struggle with back to back battles, but if you use the plentiful consumables the game gives you(you can also buy them cheaply in the town, and 2 hours in that seems to be the only way to spend your money anyway), you shouldn't have an issue, as these can be used both in battles and between them. Sex scenes aren't a choice as you are forced into most of them (atleast so far after two hours), so there is little player choice, so if that ain't your jam be aware. Writing is not great, about what you'd expect from average games in the genre, with some weird grammar issues here and there, but nothing too bad. All in all I recommend the game for the lewds and art, but if you want a deep story/combat system, then look elsewhere.

  The art is great, but the gameplay is like being stuck in that episode of S*uth P*rk where they need to kill millions of boars before being able to do anything. It's like they never tested their game. Wait for a couple of months before buying this game.

Well, here's my two cents on it![/b][/i] [i]Let's get right into it![/i] In [b]Avaria: Chains of Lust[/b] you play as Camille, daughter and Heiress of the Bellmont Family. Join her on her journey in discovering the truth behind the mysterious disappearances that have been occurring around the Mines near the little town of Arden. As she traverses through these mines, she'll fight a slew of monsters while also dealing with the strange inhabitants of the town. Could there be something more sinister at play than she had originally thought? First off, let's give credit where it's due. The writing in this game is good, nothing amazing, but definitely way above average for an Eroge. Paired with top notch art by [b]Shiory[/b], Avaria: Chains of Lust has been an absolute bliss to play. That aside, it does have its flaws, One being a game breaking bug (The [b]bug[/b] has been addressed as of posting this review, but feel free to read on if you're curious.) [b][u]SPOILER ALERT[/u][/b] [spoiler]When dealing with the second "boss" instance (First boss slime you encounter) of Dungeon 3, where you're supposed to collect the glowing rocks dropped by the "defeated slimes" but they'd disappear right after the cutscene. This triggers the bug if you leave the area and causes a repeat of already completed instances which leads to a black screen. Leaving you screwed if you did not save before leaving via the teleportation circle. One way to fix this is to exit the "boss" room from the direction you came, and re-enter it to reload the fight. Defeat the "boss" slime again and it should resolve the issue and you're free to progress.[/spoiler] [h1][u] Pros: [/u][/h1] [list] [*][b]+[/b] [url=https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/17712789]Shiory's[/url] art never fails to disappoint! [*][b]+[/b] Decently well written story, with hints of a sequel! (May not be everyone's cup of tea since everyone has their own sets of different priorities when it comes to playing Eroges.) [*][b]+-[/b] The "tough" combat and harsh stat scaling can be easily circumvented by either spamming Guard which heals you for a % of HP, or just running from battles. (Hit ESC to open up the option to flee from battles). (Neutral for the same reason as the first point in this list) [*][b]+-[/b] Gallery only unlocked after finishing the game. (Neutral for the same reason as the first and second points in this list) [*][b]+-[/b] No Auto-scrolling, But you're able to speed cutscenes and text up by holding ENTER. [*][b]+-[/b] Unlike most Eroge H-RPGs, there is no Combat related H-Scenes. (Bad End/Loss CGs etc. This may turn some off from getting the game.) With the way the inventory is designed, it seemed as though there'd be more options when it came to outfits and weapons. However I have yet to find any. It sports beautifully crafted CGs by Shiory and has a decently well written story. If you're interested in this game, I personally recommend waiting for it to go on sale. Unless you're a massive fan of Shiory's artwork, then maybe get it at full price. Either way you're in for a decently enjoyable time.
