  This was a fun little rougelite and 5 months ago I would have recommended it. However, with each update I feel like I have less and less control over what happens in the game. With each update it feels more like a slot machine than it did before. I'd like more control over building my "deck", more ways to remove orbs, and more thinking and decision making. There's just not that much strategy involved. If you prefer more luck based gameplay, you may get some enjoyment out of it.

  Devs, you have a good idea for a game here, just flesh it out fully and then go for the $20 price tag. You will get it.

  The price may be a bit steep for the current amount of content on offer, but I think it comes down to how much you think the core gameplay loop can hold your attention. I love me some Peggle, I've replayed those original games dozens of times, so I know this is a game that I'm going to end up returning to for years to come. I'm not that concerned with it's state right now, I'm just eagerly looking forward to seeing what's already good being expanded upon. Plus, look at the little guy! Look at that dude! Little dude! Adorable.

  I am on a fence about how to rate this game. The potential is gigantic the amount of content is abysmal. Three stages, only the 10 different balls from the demo, repeating levels non stop, no shop, no classes, no progression in any form. This is simply not worth 15€ at this stage. It reminds me a bit of Vampire Survivors when it came out in terms of content with the difference that Vampire Survivors costs 2€ and had a progression system that took me 8 hours to unlock everything. Balancing wise there are also a few things I personally dislike e.g. invisible stages feel so strange in a game about aiming the perfect shot, some relics and balls seem completely useless compared to others, but this is as expected from a new early access game. If you have limitless money support the dev and buy it and hope this game will be fantastic in the future, if not wait at least half a year and get it on a sale. After a few more runs with this game, I have to admit that the game triggers the same addiction that I felt with Peggle since the WotLK Peggle addon in WoW over a decade ago! However, I also feel validated by the lack of content: Elite Enemies repeat nonstop, there is no boss variety, and runs just feel the same.

  This game is SO MUCH FUN. I can spend loads of time going for certain builds, trying different strategies, really experiencing all the little micro and macro effects of all the orbs/trinkets/etc. As this game gets updated, I can tell it's going to get even better. But I also can't in good conscience recommend it at $20 where it is now. In its current state, it's buggy, short, and unbalanced. It's very promising, and I'll ride this train wherever it goes, but if you're even mildly on the fence, don't buy it. (yet) See where it goes first.
