  Originally played this on mobile and bought it on Steam as soon as it was out. Haven't played much yet on Steam, but it's just as beautiful and fun as the mobile version was & effort has clearly been made to make it feel good with a keyboard, so I am confident that the rest of the game lives up to my expectations. A great game if you wanna just relax for a few minutes, or if you want to dedicate to shaving milliseconds off of your runs to get the highest scores on the leaderboard.

  I had originally played the Mobile version of the game and while I enjoyed it, this game can also be enjoyable. The touch controls on the mobile version make some of the challenges difficult but with controller input on Steam there so far has been no challenge on getting the gold rating. Don't play the game expecting the game to be challenging but just a chill experience to be had of riding down the mountains and doing effortless flips, tricks and enjoying the terrain.

  You can't unlock ski passes in multiplayer. You can't do zen mode in multiplayer. UPDATE: Not a bad game. I only bought this to play local multiplayer with my father. Most of the content in the game is locked behind collecting ski passes. Since you can't collect ski passes in multiplayer we can't unlock content while playing the game together. If we could explore the mountain and collect the ski passes while playing together we would definitely play this. I don't have time to beat the game in single player just so I can play it the way I want to in multiplayer. From the store page description, I took it to be possible to explore the mountain and its activities at your own pace, with friends in local multiplayer. The reality is: A limited set of competitions that you have previously unlocked in single player. If this was clearer in the games description I would not be here. As to collecting ski passes in multiplayer being unfair: Unfair to who? Who am I competing against that would make this unfair? As far as I know, the only thing you unlock is access to maps / courses. There is no character progression or items that confer some form of advantage. We didn't play much so maybe I just didn't see that part of the game. Even if it did have progression based competitive multiplayer systems, how is it fair to gate all that content off, content already paid for, to players who just want to sit on the couch with friends and play the game? Steam REALLY needs a neutral/info review type. This is not a bad game. In fact, I like it, as a single player game. I can't recommend it for multiplayer, which was how we wanted to play it.

  [h1] I am a very happy bunny...[/h1] Now who here can remember [b]Ski or Die / Skate or Die?[/b] If you have been dreaming about those classics, here finally is the spiritual successor, and if you have zero clue want I am rambling about, be prepared to have some true classic original 80's style gaming where gimics where frowned on and pure time destroying skill application was how you got your gaming fix. This wonderful Arcade style game is marvelously simple to pick up, superbly basic and INTUITIVE (omg thank you) controls, with a surprisingly well done camera control system, honestly what I was dreading to have to deal with on purchase, is now my most "impressed about" feature of the game. Atmospheric [i]sound and music[/i], with very satisfying snow sounds as you get the crisp grind supressed during jumps to THUMP back as you land a sick spinning flippy turn thing you weren't quite sure would work. [b]Difficulty levels[/b] increase at "the correct" rate, namely you might be thinking it is too easy as you learn the controls, but then you'll find you need to replay a run one or two times to get max rating, and then...you get the idea. It is spot on. Clever features like being able to enjoy the scenery on Ski Lifts, or hold down a key to speed them up, or simply jump to location on the map if previously visited, as well as the [i]time reversal feature[/i] which does not penalise you (very very much loved feature!)....this title will have you secretly frustrated but openly trying again and again until that dopamine fix arrives as you juuuust get it right. I'm totally in love, and happily blown away. There is only one thing I'd like to have added, I was thinking to myself as I started playing....and then boom, it was unlocked as I progressed! Spot on, addictively enjoyable, well priced and highly recommended. Especially to old school gamers.   Great game! Awesome graphics, a bit much blur though, especially in the telescope. Beautiful mountains, good variety in challenges and a reasonable difficulty level. A great game to fill that snowflake-shaped hole in your soul during the summer, or just any day when you can't go shred the slopes IRL. Overall, without being too biased, easy 8/10

  Like a nice cold morning on a mountain, this game is very relaxing. The controls are simple-to-learn and hard-to-master. While it might not have a grandiose plot, it makes up for it in the very refined feel and the casual atmosphere. The multiplayer is solid as I thoroughly enjoyed racing my friends through jump-filled terrain all while throwing snowballs at them as much as possible. While I may not have completed all of the trials yet, I feel that once I have, I will likely be bored and want more. Overall, I very much enjoy this game and I would recommend it if you're looking for a fun and relaxing game. 9/10

  Played this game back when it was only on mobile, this is a massive step up, still a fantastic and relaxing game, it's a little pricey so i would wait til it's on sale to buy it but it's still stupid fun.

  Since my country does not have its own skis, boards, sleds and even snow, I was very pleased with the time spent in the game. It was like being on vacation.
