I felt like I was watching evangelion for the first time again. Which is a good thing since I love the anime series. I was confused but couldn't stop playing, much like the creators first game tbh. If you like weird quirky but creative and fun stories this is def the game for you. Also as a bonus the art is honestly so amazing and there are so many cgs. Like the most cgs I have ever seen in a visual novel period. There is a lot of love put into this game and you can tell which makes it even better.

As much as I want to love this game, I can't. I was initially really excited to play this after experiencing Hashihime, one of my favourite games. I think I went in with the wrong mindset thinking that this would be similar. It's not. So if you're expecting this to be similar to Hashihime, you might get disappointed. The art for this game is amazing. You are well fed with CG after CG. I was initially blown away by the artwork and beautiful expressions of the characters. The whole story was also one heck of a ride. It was hilarious, with many random wacky moments. I also loved the OST! So much that the OP and ED made it to my daily playlist. The songs were just that good. The problem comes in with the storyline. I'm someone who focuses more on plot and it heavily contributes to my enjoyment of VNs in general. I was very VERY confused after Chapter 1. The CGs with weird action angles also didn't help me to understand the scenario either. I had to read reviews of the chapter to even understand what I just read (thanks opinionatedtofu). Although the later chapters do shed more light on what was happening, I felt that they were very rushed and filled with plot holes. I remember finishing the last chapter thinking, what?? That's it?? I still had so many questions!! The entire VN was completed around 10+ hours, I was disappointed because I expected it to be much longer. I also wasn't given enough time to grow attached to the characters due to the short chapters (but I still love you Shou). Overall, it's a good VN to pass the time with. If you are someone who loves good art, good action and cute boyos, this might be for you. But for those who prefer a solid plot, you might want to skip this.

This BL game has a fresh concept with kaiju and tokusatsu. The story starts slow and a bit confusing, but after 2 hours in the plot start to pick up and wow by 3 hours in, everything start to spiral out of control (I love it! remind me of Hashihime). Now, I can confidently write review and recommend you guys to buy it! Just be patient with the slow and boring start. I haven't finished it but I can tell the complicated relationships are the driving force of the story, I'm excited to peel the layers of mystery. The next best thing, there're a lot of CGs but sadly they don't appear in extras/gallery (I'm not sure if it's a bug or the original game like that). Hopefully the sales of this game is good, so we can get Adelta's third game.

Ideals clash in this off-beat kinetic tale on what it means to be the hero of your own story. UuultraC does not hold your hand tightly. You are thrown into one of three viewpoints: an innocent part-timer, an unlucky photographer, and a lovelorn TV star. Each act reveals the plot in explosive bits that you try to piece together. The cast is fluid in their morals and flawed in their character, constantly driven by their loyalties. When motives go head-to-head, it's a rush of comedy and excitement. Other times, it's moody and subdued. Humor and agony go hand-in-hand. This visual novel reads like a head-scratcher with style. The ost is used sparingly but skillfully to heighten moments, along with a range of quirky sound effects. Most striking of all is the sheer amount of hand-drawn CGs. Color bursts off the screen in raw shades orange, red, purple and green. Like the story itself, the art style is messy but attention-grabbing. Elements are tossed in at random, but they somehow work. At the heart of it all is a passion for the tokusatsu medium, timeless kaijuu, and perhaps the fight for self-identity. Though there is no clear-cut answer to what it all means, it may be that resolution isn't the point of UuultraC: it's the ride.

A kinetic visual novel that really compliments the genre and should be a lesson to other dev teams in regards to how CGs shouldn't be used as a reward for being good readers, but that they should be used to compliment and enhance the writing, This visual novel has a really high production value from the art and writing to the music. I do recommend Uuuultra C, but like its predecessor (Hashihime of the Old Book Town) I do not think it will work for everyone or that some chapters will be more to some peoples likely than others were.

This game is an acid trip in a good way, I was hooked from start to finish. You play as three different protagonists with different povs to understand the plot and I think that's pretty neat. The soundtracks are a banger. There are also a lot- and I mean a LOT of CGs (heck you're given around 10 different CGs during the first few few minutes of the game) and all of the CGs are incredibly well drawn. This game has heavy plot, and if I were to put it into numbers, I'd say this game is 90% plot and 10% nsfw scenes. But personally, while I think the plot is great, I also think it's a little bit rushed and could be developed more, especially during Chapter 3 where things sort of ended pretty abruptly. Those who came here thinking it'll be like Hashihime (another BL game with the same dev), it's not. UuultraC is pretty different to Hashihime, from the way the plot progresses (UuultraC being a lot more fast paced and action oriented) to the way romance is handled in the game. But overall, a great and interesting experience! [strike] I love Choutsugai and you cannot change my mind [/strike]
