  It's actually much better than the other comments say. It seems a bit amateur, but I really liked it more than 'Acting lessons' which is very similar regarding the game mechanism (but not story). There were many comments that the story is far-fetched but it's less than in 'Acting lessons'. Those impressions may be caused by the fact that the place of action is much different here. The plot is similar to 'Being a dick’ but we are not in a US college - we are in a Russian university. I can understand that it can seem very strange for those who are not familiar with Russian mentality but everything is really very Russian in the game, so you may at least learn how it is living in Russia a bit. First of all there’s corruption everywhere. I don’t say there’s no corruption in US but the difference is that in US version the protagonist would fight it, while here he’s not so naïve - he is well aware it’s impossible to fight with it so can only use it in his advantage. Second, sexual harassment seems to be present everywhere and there are no institutions you can reach for help. You can only use help of the people you know. Third, there is much less respect for women in general. I could not imagine that you spank a colleague girl during lesson break and still be a nice guy in the EU or in the USA. But I can imagine it in Russia. Furthermore, if you want to find a job the only good way is to do it through acquaintances. And finally there is a very meaningful scene of a job interview (both employer and employee are women). The employer asks about candidate’s plan for having children (is afraid of taking maternity leave). Such questions are forbidden by the EU law (there’s no maternity leave in US at all as far as I know) but here it is not only asked, the candidate answers how unfair it would be and that she’s not one of those. It looks like she felt guilty that she is a woman and can get pregnant. Of course the protagonist is f*cking around but no condoms are used. This is poor education for the young persons but it seems to be a standard for all this games. I must admit the text reads a bit strange in English, I turned it quickly to Russian and it sounded much better (both languages are not native to me). The graphic is very good but the animatiions are few and short. I would also love more dialogues I can choose even if they are not decision points. Still it’s very cheap, so it’s worth trying (there are 12 possible endings so - unlike in 'Acting lessons' - you can chose a girl you'd like to pursue).

  The good : it is a cheap visual novel... The bad : the story is quite banal and surfing on simplistic cliche... no real surprise (except maybe during some endings) The ugly : - No sound, no BGM, no voice, nothing !!! Silence from the start till the end... - Some part are very repetitive. I don't count the time I've seen the same shower/breakfast sequence for example. - overly punitive choices. The difference before a good end and the bad end too often stays in the repetition of similar minor choices which shouldn't even influence the story and have no direct significance to the ending. grinding your way to the good end by chosing the same answer again and again... - repetitive adult scenes. For example, in Ann's route, you'll see one of the long scene at least 3 times... with no single variation There are many better VN, this one is a waste of time.

  [h2]Story [/h2] A male student swaps colleges and towns because he got into some trouble with some girl. He immediately starts falling in love with the only girl who's taken. The moment that desire reaches rock bottom, the player gets control over who to reach out for. + good erotic scenes + lots of endings - not the best writing - too ambitious? - no sound, at all - repetitive The game hints of paths which you can't explore. For instance, you meet Helga in a park, and she explicitly says when you can meet her there. You never get the chance to go and look her up. Or, you are offered to go to a bar, but except for the first time, you never have enough money. After ten days in the new town, the guy gets really frustrated a girl he likes has a boyfriend. Really...? When I launched the game for the first time I thought my pc bugged out, I didn't anticipate no sounds at all. Not a big deal, but unexpected. The erotic scenes are well written, and enough variety. [h2]Repetitive... [/h2] When I read some of the reviews about repetitiveness before I started playing, I could almost not believe it. But indeed, every day you have to go through the same wakeup and classroom sequence. All in all I did enjoy the game, despite my criticism. I am very curious about the newer game of the dev! 68/100

  Adult Visual Novel, not a game.Worth the money, though not as good as "Being a Dik" or "Acting Lessons" and replay is good with 22 endings. Don't know why there is sound controls in options so don't waste your time adjusting, there's no sound effects or music sadly. Game doesn't start to pickup till around day 12. Everyday game choices can be repetitive but push through it. There's about 22 endings but i'm at about 5 so far. Also you can't have sex with other woman after you pick a route except Irene and maybe the twins at the park? You have to be careful about cheating so save at places you have choices like lie/refuse/go for it etc. Hint: There's a image and video folder that's easy to access in the game file worth looking at as it shows a lot of screens/routes worth aiming for. Con: Videos are very short in this VN.

  While it may not be for everyone, I like these games as relief from a bad night at work. To me they are fun to play.

  If you can survive the atrocious writing of this game, seriously the story sounds like it's written by a neckbeard living in his mum's basement, the NSFW scenes aren't that bad. The choices seem rather limited as well, with mostly you stuck in the driver's seat looking at your character saying the most cringey stuff ever. But I'm here for the NSFW scenes and the game delivers, so I'll give it a 6/10. Just don't go in expecting a polished story like "Acting Lessons", "Being a DIK", "Sisterly Lust" etc.

  "Twists of My Life" is a visual novel that will keep you entertained for hours, if you enjoy feeling like you're stuck in a bad student movie with poor animation and predictable story line. The characters are not relatable, the graphics are average and the sex scenes are not worth the time. The only thing that makes this game slightly interesting is the multiple endings, but the choices you make to get to them are not that meaningful. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who needs a nap.

  I'm pretty sure they used google translate from some foreign language and left it. Having to reread a sentence 3 times just to have it still confuse you flat out kills it for me.

  A pretty unique game of the genre as you can't build a harem and there is no incest. You have to make choices during the game and to see all content, you will need to replay some parts, thus making it quite lengthy. Characters are very interesting and well written, artwork and renders very good, same for the animations. A must buy for lovers of ren'py adult VN.

  I ate so much bacon and eggs that I died of a heart attack on the 14th day. It's cheap so you can't expect much. For the quality of the game it should be cheaper. MC tells you he's not going to pursue women at the start of the game. MC goes on to spout pickup lines to every woman he sees and bumps into. You almost don't have any choices. Same scenes over and over again. Dialog seems to take a major hit being translated into English. I assume it was originally written in Russian. Every morning you click on the shower and then you click on the kitchen to just click on the stove (bacon and eggs). Now you're setting at the table with your bacon and eggs. You don't actually eat them...they're just there. You can't click on them. No interaction with any objects, just boxes in the lower left-hand corner depicting rooms. You're better off spending your time cleaning your toilet than playing this. At least you know your toilet will be free of what this game is. POS.
