  Already I can see how much work has been put into this game- and it is a major step up from the flash version. It works amazingly, plays good, and most importantly: shows some very promising music. I recommend you check this out, and play through it. I'm so excited to see the future of this game.

  basically Soundodger+ but with a few very good changes: - it's way smoother - additional tiny animations - 3 new cool bullets - more cool options for the bullet object - 10 different layers instead of one - prefabs - bpm snap - literally [b]seven[/b] new effects - cool backgrounds and large theme creativity - player settings (which is cool for challenges) - overall less limits and I like all of these additions!

  Updated review on release: It was promising, up until it was ruined by a unnecessary health system being shoehorned into a game that didn't need it. Play Soundodger+ instead.

  A fantastic Sequel to a Fantastic game! All the official levels are great and so are the new additions! Although, I'm gonna be spending most my time in the editor making whatever, so I cant say much about anything else. A few of my favorite things. -The editor is really simple to use, you could create levels in a single day. If you have played the first, you will know exactly how to use it (but you might be confused on the new features, like size and fire rate for example) -LEGACY SUPPORT! Bean did not have to do this but he added it! all levels from soundodger 1 are playable (you will need to buy the soundtrack for Sd1 though to play the official levels). And all you need to do is link up the level file to the game. This was probably very difficult, since the original game was locked at 30fps, and this game is at 60, though I dont know much in that department. -Backgrounds and camera effects! These can really make or break a level. be sure not to be obnoxious with them, and use them to make levels have that much more impact. An excellent feature. -Its gonna get frequent updates! There only 5 levels as of the time i'm writing this, but more are planned to be added, along with new backgrounds and bullets. Its understandable since this game was made in under 2 years I'm pretty sure. This is a very good game for those starting to get into bullet hell, or people that are experienced in them! If you are worried about being bad, don't! we were all really bad at one point, but you will eventually get better. This game is worth its price tag, for what it currently is, and for whats to come.

  From the perspective of someone who's played Soundodger+ for hundreds of hours and is mostly in it for the level making scene, it is really hard not to recommend this game. In most ways, it feels like a pretty objective upgrade to Soundodger+, however, if you're a newcomer to the series you might want consider this first. The game is currently a bit lacking when it comes to the main game. There's currently 5 songs (with 3 difficulties each,) and a common complaint has been that the levels ramp up in difficulty way too quickly. (I would argue that the easiest level in the game is already quite hard.) This issue will hopefully be resolved as the game gets more levels. Bean (that is, the developer) seems to have put a lot more energy into making sure that the editor is functional and feels nice to use for the early access release. If you're here for the custom levels, be it make them or play them, what's in the game now will likely be your cup of tea, but otherwise you might want to wait until the game is further along development. (Or look at Soundodger+, which has a fantastic main game, and many many more levels made by the community)
