  Super fun game. Starts pretty basic. After you beat the second boss it starts becoming more and more like risk of rain in how ridiculous the combos start getting. It also starts going crazier and crazier in terms of the way the enemies spawn and the items that drop. It becomes more friendly to co op in that regard as you have more items to work with and thus more build diversity.

  Pros: - fun movement - 4player coop multiplayer - high replayability - great music cons: - only 3 floors/bosses right now Rogue glitch combines the rogue lite experience and bullethell gameplay from binding of isaac with a fun platformer similar to super meatboy. You shoot automatically so you can focus on dodging and platforming. Doublejumps, walljumps and the the stomp mechanic (which can be used to dodge downwards or to bounce of enemies for damage) make for really fun movement. The items vary from damage upgrades to different drones and more movement options which together with the different characters make for nice diversity and replayability. Multiplayer of up to 4 players works great, and you can choose how to split up items dependend on synergy so each player can specialize in one area. For example explosion synergy makes your enemies explode and your stomp ability to do big aoe damage and another player could get a swarm of drones for himself. A lack of content is the main downside of the game right now (early access release), there are three levels/floors with a boss encounter each. Hard difficulty mode is apparently coming up and I hope for more awesome boss fights in the near future. I would still recommend this game in early access at this price since it has great replayability especially if you play it with friends.

  This game is really flippin' awesome. I first downloaded it in January of 2020, right before COVID-19 hit the US,. I bought it with a friend and we had a really awesome time learning how to play and finding new secrets and easter eggs. I have met new friends in multiplayer and spent countless hours just enjoying the game. This was one of the first rogue games that I've truly dedicated myself to and it puts a single manly tear in my eye to see this game being so underrated for what it is. I hope it gets it's chance in the spotlight one of these days, so others can enjoy the feeling of wanting to bash their head against a pile of broken glass from the pure, untainted, unadulterated rage they will feel from this game. That is the end of my review. I now wish to say something to the developers: Do you get off to others suffering? I'm assuming you do since you made this game. Regardless of whether or not you're a sadist, I have a few requests. First of all, I'd like you to add more challenges to unlock stuff, as that would give people more to do in the game. I'd also like it if you made all the in game challenges steam achievements as well. On the note of achievements, I can't unlock any of the current steam achievements, as I've already beaten the game, so if you could fix that, it'd be nice. That's all, and I look forward to world 6 coming out. :)

  Haven't beaten the game yet but so far this has been a very enjoyable roguelite. The simple controls allowed me to get into the game very easily and there is no hidden crazy meta. Main problem is lack of items and a need to grind a lot for levels. The lack of items in an early access thing but the grinding thing will probably stay. It was on sale for around 1 dollar when I bought it and for that price this game is a must get.

  This is an enjoyable, neon roguelike. It plays like a platformer and the shooting is automatic once you get in range. [b]Pros[/b] [list] [*] Fun solo, but really shines with the multiplayer. I don't know what netcode wizardry the dev has used, but I'm finding that the gameplay is barely affected by lag when playing in Australia with friends in America. [*] Good variety of weapons, passive items, and active items [*] Weapon/Item synergies [*] Colourful! [*] Great synth music [*] Different characters/classes that play a little differently or require different strategies to win [*] Short games - Winning runs only takes about 20 or so minutes [*] Unlocks - Oh my, so many unlocks. While I've unlocked all the characters and most of the items there are also skin unlocks for your character. Opportunities to unlock these can be found in games. [*] Still being worked on - The dev recently announced a new update to the game (Jan 2020) which will add a lot of stuff.[/list] [b]Cons[/b] [list] [*] Some of the synergies are tough to get and after about 30 hours I'm yet to get the final few. [*] Short games - Currently there are three levels with three bosses. Personally, I like the short length of games, but this might be a con I guess. [*] Still being worked on - What I find in the game currently is great, but subject to change as the game gets developed. If you're not keen on Early Access titles this might be a problem for you. [*] Not a big community - If you're looking to just fire up a multiplayer game without organising some friends first you'll struggle to find a game. Luckily, solo is still a lot of fun.[/list] Overall, fun game, great with friends, and I'm looking forward to the next update.

  Great fun Game, it's already after the first few minutes really addicting and i'm really curious what content will await us when it comes out of early access. So buy the game you won't regret it.

  Give me MORE power! Checks all the boxes I look for in a roguelite. Very highly recommended. One of the best truly FREE games on steam. Get it, and get good.
