  Koikari was pretty good. I've played Suki to Suki a while ago (same developers) and I quite liked the comedy there, but pretty much all it had to offer was comedy. Koikari is VERY similar, but with more depth and better writing. Took me 34 hours to finish the 4 main and 2 side routes. The comedy is not quite on Making Lovers' level, but it's really good. It has a lot of perverted jokes, so if that's not your thing, you shouldn't read any further, but for everyone else, it will definitely satisfy your needs. I laughed out quite a few times which is rare in my case and although it can get tiresome at times, it never took away from the experience. What else is good from the gorgeous art and surprisingly above average music? It has character development. Yeah, I was surprised, but it exists, although it's not something super drastic and it only affects Emi's route pretty much. Speaking of characters, they're mostly one dimensional (especially the twins), but they're all really fun on their own way. My personal favorite was actually a side character, Momoko, but if I absolutely have to choose a main character, it's Emi, as much as I like Tsubaki. Like I said, they're nothing special and they're mostly just 1-dimensional stereotypes, but they work. The common route is honestly one of the strongest point of the whole game. Most of the really funny stuff happens there and it's exciting all the way, the pacing is also perfect, there's always something going on. They also did a great job at making it such an insanely hard decision to pick between Hasumi and Emi, emphasizing both of their good points and trying to appeal to not only the MC, but the player as well. The routes are somewhat of a mixed bag, so let's see them individually in order how I played them. [b]Tsubaki's route[/b]: The best one by far and not just because it had a different, more adult tone than the others. It had actual, and somewhat of a realistic approach to adult romance. It's not like it was super serious, it had plently of funny jokes. The MC and Tsubaki had such a great chemistry, nobody came even close. [b]Emi's route[/b]: It had a really unique message: you don't need a reason for falling in love, nor does time matter. The common route leading up to probably my hardest choice in my VN history so far had some surprisingly emotional scenes. Despite how comedy focused her route was, that 2-3 or so hours leading up to choosing Emi had some really strong and memorable moments. This route is the only one that has any meaningful character development, both for Emi and the MC. It was pretty interesting to follow how the two of them deepened their love, despite their initial constant bickering. It turned into a really sweet, youthful romance and I loved it. [b]Hasumi's route[/b]: By the book, everything went how I expected it to go, but it was still cute and similarly comedy focused as Emi's, but also with plently of cute romance. It felt a bit weaker to me, purely because of the fact that we already know everything about Hasumi, but I was never bored, I genuinely enjoyed it. [b]Twins' route[/b]: Definitely the weakest in every possible regard. Despite the most comedy focused, Konatsu's overabundance of dirty jokes got really old really quick. It's worth a read since it's not very long and not boring either, but you should either play this first or last. [b]Saki's and Momoko's side routes[/b]: They're like 20-25 minutes long each and half of it are H-scenes so there isn't too much to talk about them. They're fine for what they are, but Momoko's route made me really mad, they did her dirty and deserved better. If you like romantic comedy, this one is a great choice. It lived up to my expectations and even exceeded it in some regards. I guess NekoNyan did it again, spoiling us with another good VN!

  So far this VN is comedy Gold. Its really well translated and the humour comes off really well Also an important thing to mention is that the Publisher is using a custom upscaler with this VN which makes the image quality look crispier and detailed even on 1080p and 1440p resolutions . Free 18+ restoration patch can be downloaded from NekoNyan website So far i am having a lovely time reading this

  If you've read or seen Rental Girlfriend, it's like that but you love all of the characters, there's steamy action, and there's an end to it all. Multiple endings, but...if you know what I'm talking about, you know why I say this. Anyway, worth the buy.

  8/10 30hrs for a fast reader (estimating as I constantly idle the novel) 18+ Patch: https://www.nekonyansoft.com/shop/product/44 For: People who like little sister type characters People who want light-hearted romcom with a fairly original premise Not For: People who want a deep story People who don't want to read about others with strong fetishes/obsessions Renai Karichaimashita is ASa Project's 2019 work and their 2nd game localized by Nekonyan. Before going any further, best to say that I enjoyed this way more than the previous Sankaku Ren'ai, as this one I found way funnier, but don't expect ASa Project's brand of humor to not come through in this work. Renai Karichaimashita is definitely an atypical light hearted comedy. Probably the most notable thing about this story, the premise. The MC asks every female love interest in this game to pay him for his services. While he does have his reasons, he is far from the typical nice guy MC that you can self-insert into. Instead, he is sometimes rude and wants to give every penny he can on his little sister. This will play a part in most of the routes in the game as the MC, even after starting a route, will still ask for money from the girls and want to spend it and his time on his little sister. If this type of MC turns you off, you might want to avoid this novel. On top of the premise of the novel, the novel has a pretty interesting set of characters. There is a character who wants to talk about sex or related topics in like half her lines. There are girls who won't stop trying for the MC even after you start a route. There are stalkers, and so on. While this did make for some really unique jokes that made me laugh a lot, there were times where I was a bit disgusted and questioning how much more I wanted to read of that dialogue. On top of that, the characters have very little character development and instead spend most of their time joking about their quirks, so the routes can feel repetitive at times and seem to drag on more than they should. Feature wise, this novel does meet all the basic needs, but does lack a few nice to haves. Stuff like jump up the backlog, jump to previous/next decision, continue on open, colored read text, and the like are all there. However if you come from a Yuzusoft game and want chapter select, flow chart, saving voices, or controller mapping, you're out of luck. Besides that, the game is also limited to 1600 x 900 resolution, but that isn't that atypical for a VN. Renai Karichaimashita is definitely a unique VN that showcases ASa Project's brand of humor, but those same strengths can be a turnoff to certain types of people and sometimes a hindrance to the writing. While I do think this is a solid piece of work worth trying, I would also say it is definitely not the best thing I read nor something for everyone.
