  Since this came out at the same Day as Aokana and I played Aokana exactly before this and loved it, I didnt expect this to be anywhere close to it, however I absolutely love this VN as well and for different reasons. Nanairo Reincarnation has a really interesting Premise and all the Characters are unique and really good, they also have great Voice Acting. Other than Aokana this isnt Romance/Sport, but a complete Mix between Comedy, Romance, Detective and Drama. Its a VN that is able to give you all kinds of Emotions. It has really sad Parts, but also moments were I laughed really hard. The Art is also amazing and the H-Art is one of my all time favorite Art. The Translation is also great and the Soundtrack also has some good Songs. The only thing that might be a little minus are the Settingmenus Soundsetting since they were a little buggy for me and hard to get good Settings and that the Steam Overlay is really laggy for this Game. Overall however I really love this VN and can only recommend giving it a try as I am sure you will also like it. It also has a decent length which is pretty fair considering the Price. But beware there are some pretty disturbing things going on in this Game so if you dont like anything like that maybe playing something different would be better.   Nanairo Reincarnation is a visual novel about a ghost detective working to send lingering souls to the afterlife. To do so he must fulfill their wishes or otherwise make them accept their reality and help them move on. It's a story that's part mystery, part romance, part drama. It has lots of strong points. The character art is mind-blowingly good, the BGs are great, the music is great. The story is solid also, with snappy pacing, a logical protagonist, and likable characters. It's really good. ... Except when it's not. This is one of those games where the adult content is baked into the story and made somewhat necessary, yet still completely destroys the pacing and ends up being more of a chore than anything. Any time the story's getting exciting the game switches to sexy mode and you spend the next 20 minutes reading about sex scenes. It clashes against the mood the game is trying to set with its drama, and feels like it's just there to meet some quota. The engine is also lackluster, with really bad performance problems that make the game hitch, even in the act of just displaying text. Just trying to display an ellipsis, the game will render 2 dots, hang for a few frames, and then render the last dot. I've never seen a VN engine hang like this before. Sekai Project's work on it also leaves me a little mixed. The localization is *excellent*, and I want to kiss the people who translated it, but then they use an awful font for the game. Like, come on. Overall it's still pretty decent, and I definitely recommend playing, but perhaps it'd be best to play it without the adult patch and look up the sexy content later for a better story experience.

  Nanairo Reincarnation is amazing, but it's hard to describe without revealing anything about the story. Played the first 3 hours and felt all kind of emotions. A balance of happiness and sadness characterize the course as the story unfolds at a pleasurable pace. Convincing characters. The music fits to any situation. The drawings are a feast for the eyes. Silky & Sekai Project, thank you for that great experience.

  Nanairo Reincarnation launched without much fanfare, but it quickly became one of my favorite reads of 2019. If you are looking for a very funny, a little bit scary, and occasionally heart-wrenching story, then I strongly recommend giving Nanairo a try. The main strength of the novel is probably the central cast of colorful characters, including both humans and non-humans, with the main heroine Kotori easily stealing the show. Granted, none of the characters are particularly deep, but I ended up enjoying every moment spent with them. Not only is the voice-acting superb, but the art is great, and the sprites are wonderfully expressive. The music is also pleasant and the engine is fully featured. There are other parts of the main story that I wish to gush about, but to do so would spoil plot-points that I want you to experience with fresh eyes. Instead, I will merely say that I was very pleased with out everything tied together at the end. I will also recommend that you play the main (Kotori) route first since that significantly increases the impact of events common to all routes.

  Don't give the player the illusion of 'choice' or 'multiple routes', when there's really only one route, with some minor variations. Don't make the central heroine the most irritating character in the game either. I'd like real routes focused around the other characters, but the creators of this game decided to prioritize their garbage waifu over everybody else instead.

  Nanairo Reincarnation is a weird mix of comedy, porn and misery. It's both a nukige and a nakige at the same time. If you're looking for a serious story, there's way, way too much porn with every single character in the cast wanting to have sex with the faceless protagonist. The porn starts 30 minutes in and there's a long sex scene roughly every hour. It often comes with little build up and no emotional connection, the protagonist just has sex with his harem because that's what his role is. At the same time, if you're looking for a happy go lucky harem porn game, the final act of the story suddenly does a 180 and drops a lot of very dark stuff on you (on the level of [url=store.steampowered.com/app/965810]Kara no Shoujo[/url], no joke) and there are no happy endings, which results in a massive tonal whiplash. The game is split roughly into 3 distinct acts, each around 5-7 hours long. The first one is easily the best one, it's lighthearted comedy with a lot of well paced story, the protagonist meets many new people, gets a detective job and quickly starts solving cases, but then it all comes to a screeching halt in act 2 where the focus switches to either slice-of-life or just procrastination, the scenes of the main gang regrouping in the living room, or the protagonist sitting on the porch or drinking beer on the terrace will be repeated on and on, with the same tired jokes and recaps of the same plot points. And then in act 3 the story finally picks up... but the direction it goes into is not a welcome one, it's just gore and misery, which is completely at odds with the rest of the game. But what about heroine routes? Well, this game only really has one route, centered around the main girl (you can guess who by looking at the cover). The story is all about solving her problems, and if you pick another love interest all that happens is her sex scenes will be replaced with someone else's. So if you're not interested in the main girl, chances are you won't enjoy the rest of the novel. On a side note, the art is good, and while the game itself is 720p, the character sprites seem to be in a much higher resolution and will scale nicely to at least 1440p. The sex scenes in the English release are also completely uncensored.
