  When you solve the puzzle, there's a SICK DRUM BEAT going on! It goes like this ; TU-TUK-TACK, TU TUK-TACK!!! the bunny with the chainsaw is so cute also.

  After playing this game with my friends. I thought I would share my thoughts on the game. I think this is a fantastic concept. Getting to gun the demons after you find all the pieces is an absolutely lovely touch. Items were scattered around a bunch making for a fun, yet spooky treasure hunt. The flashlight to find the symbols was also a nice touch. Having the difficulty ramp up is definitely a good shout. 1 medkit could definitely be considered "insane" difficulty material. I am still undecided whether I love or hate it. When playing with friends, a couple of slip ups means permanently out of the game with no revival methods. Excellent server connection considering I was playing on terrible ping so good job there too! :D I like how you have to decide between holding onto a medkit and an important ritual item. We might have just been lucky, but seemed to get the same demon (Corvus) Although that might have been the difficulty and that we were just getting lucky haha. The one thing that I would love to see tweaked a little bit is the AI that assists the main monster. It can be a little frustrating that the additional AI helpers can also one shot you. It almost takes away from the main bad guys threat if everything can one shot you. This was also true for average difficulty too. It would be awesome to see these AI perform in different ways, so for example the crawlers latch onto you and slow you for a duration. The butchers helpers flash in and jump scare you etc. If they stay 1 shot, the possibility of while stunned to mash a button and get them off to avoid a terrible fate. The only other thing that we picked up on was that the atmosphere was a little mute at times. For example, when being killed, some audio to pop out at you would be quite good as it felt strange that there was no sound when getting chainsawed just as an example ( I completely understand that too much volume can be considered a jump scare corny fest though) The butcher and sewer monster were a little fast, which on their own would be ok (considering the tight hallways in their maps) however the added AI they have to assist them can feel a tad unfair or almost Unnecessary. Otherwise, plenty of good to feedback. Thank you for a fantastic game for us to discover. We had a lot of fun with this game and hope to see more inspiration like it! Unique design for each monster with different speeds and ai mechanics behind them! It would be cool to see more maps but the current maps are super diverse and that is awesome! Please keep up an amazing job and I hope this feedback helps!

  Absolutely fun, whacky, scary, and straight up weird horror. Really really fun to play with your friends, and I highly recommend it. For fans of Devour, Pacify, Phasmophobia stuff like that. This game combines elements of all the best though. Definitely worth checking out!

  Pros: Game looks sharper than similar games such as Pacify/Devour. Cons: Is not even 10% as smooth in terms of mechanics or with horror factor as those games. The bunny women in Manor are downright laughable and not scary one bit. This game lacks any horror factor, something other similar games are bustling with. I could live with the poor stamina in the game if only it was scary, but unfortunately it comes across as silly. Not sure if the devs will work on that, but for the time being for 4 dollars I still don't think it's worth the price of admission.

  This game is outlandishly strange and a good laugh. The horror aspect, this is more in the vein of gore/imagery than suspense or jumpscare. Don't get me wrong, there are moments that will catch you off guard. But overall the game isn't scary. But don't let that stop you from playing, the game is a ton of fun, challenging (brutally challenging) and is a great game to play with friends. I like the overall concept and the potential this game has for future development and that it isn't trying to be anything other than Malum. Unique ideas and great characters, you will fall in love with the Bunny demon... I know I did. If you are looking for some fun games with friends and have some laughs this game is for you.

  Quick Review: Malum is a must own if you're planning on playing with a group of people, especially given it's entry price point. It's easy to understand, fun, and full of 'holy @#$%' moments. Replay value is high, but in short (1 - 2 hour) bursts with friends. Overall it's a great palette cleanser, especially if you're getting burnt out on the same Phasmo/DBD/etc rotation. 'Not Quick' Review: As a game, Malum itself is a basic concept. 4 players, cooperatively scouring a given area for clues that determine what entity/monster you are dealing with, then doubling back to find the appropriate items to use in a banishment ritual. That's the gimmick. You find runes on walls, then find the items needed to send whatever is chasing you back to the abyss. However, the pace and frantic nature of doing so while being chased by the main entity of an area and/or it's minions is where the game shines. Communication is key, even on the easier difficulties, allowing players to forego walking into possible ambushes, using distractions to pull minions/monsters away from fellow players, and even using traps to freeze an entity and allow friends to have breathing room. Solving the ritual of each entity on a map is also a treat, as the game then empowers the player by giving them weapons to not only defeat the main monster outright - but also it's minions while a pseudo-rock track blasts in the background. This is a MUCH appreciated addition to the 'find object, avoid monster' (pacify/devour/etc) sub-genre that's been growing in popularity as of late. While it is best played in short bursts due to the minimal amount of available content (players can still unlock new avatars, equipment slots, etc to pad out their experience), Malum finds a way to keep players engrossed with an exceptional mixture of horror, comedy, survival, and frustration that blends together for a must own 'cost effective' co-op horror experience. Frederick is op tho, real talk.

  Fun. Every map introduces a new killer with different mechanics to them. Runs smoothly and the maps have a spooky atmosphere to them. Played with friends and had a few scares.
