  This is a true RPG game. You play as Henry of Skalitz, a blacksmith's son who doesn't know how to fight, he is not strong, not agile, he is bad at horse riding, he is bad at using bows, he is not very good at talking with people, he can't even read. You live Henry's life. Learn to read, learn to fight, learn everything, train yourself and get better.

  Do not play this game. There is nothing else like it. It will leave you with an empty void that cannot be filled once it's over. 10/10 would not recommend.

  -The game is extremely fun, great scenery, soundtrack, missions -98% of the achievements are easy to complete, 1% are challenging and the rest of 1% are time consuming and the DLC ones make you replay the same mission and complete the tasks in different ways -Almost any mission can be done in at least 2 ways -A lost of great side quests that feel like main missions that expand the story -You have the ability to play your favorite stealth archer build But there are some cons I have for this game too -Combat is mostly ripostes and combos are absolutely useless later on in the game -A ton of loading screens, this game has one for almost any action you'd take -Quests that you simply can't save and quit for the day because tomorrow you'll forget what you have to do/what you have been doing and you'd get extremely lost ( this may differ for other people ) -I consider that one particular big plot twist in the story to be poorly written, and there are bits here and there that don't make much sense (like 2% of the whole story) -Bugs, after what? 5+ years, there are still bugs in the game, luckily there aren't game breaking ( or at least I was lucky to not encounter them ) Some things that I learned while playing -Your ripostes don't work because you don't hold the mouse click -You can force enemies to attack you if you run from them mid combat for a bit and do a 360 -Lockpicking and general theft is op -You don't have to loot the grochen from every corpse -Speech unlocks more routes than your average RPG -It's actually worth it to have a girlfriend ( yes, I'm referring to in-game ) -Cumans are surprisingly easy to kill -Archery can become op -Combos are extremely useless -You can max out many levels from the prologue -The end/beginning of new main quests aren't time sensitive -Your reputation still decreases even if you commit the perfect murder -Henry is quite hungry and a serious psychopath

  Amazing game and time sinker! I was advised to get this from a friend and I'm glad I did. Game has some of the best immersion, medieval combat and historical happenings of the times in Bohemia. If you do only the story quests the game can be short. So please if you buy this take the time to do all the secondary and hidden quests, hunts and activities. Quests can be done and have their outcomes altered. There is plenty to do, interact and fight with. DLC is a must for all the extras they give really give you at least another 10 hours of content. Would recommend!

  I saw this game coming up a few times while I was looking for the next story-driven RPG to play. Watching a few videos, I was not entirely convinced by the combat system. But I decided to give it a go regardless. I can understand why people are put off by it at first. But there is a reason why there is such a learning curve and I think it is crucial to the story. It just would not make sense otherwise. I still find the combat system clunky, but I got used to it. Plus there are many ways to approach fights and sometimes the best is to flee to live another day. I absolutely loved the story and got very attached to Henry (and Mutt, and my horse!). Most side quests are well written and can be solved in several ways. There will still be some Fedex-like quests, but not many. Also worth mentioning I played with all the DLCs and I think they are well worth it! Definitely recommend!

  Skyrim for adults. Hands down one of my favorite RPG's of all time. If you ever wondered what it would be like to live in 15th century medieval Bohemia this is it. You play as a Blacksmith boy who quickly needs to learn how to become a man due to a serious life changing event. Its a slow paced story about revenge, love, duty and adventure. KCD may not be perfect in all areas but it comes together to be a truly classic masterpiece. If you have not played this game I highly recommend it.

  The game is really fun until you have to fight multiple enemies. I know maybe it's just me who aren't dexter enough, the combat mechanic too difficult for me. The only reason I bough this game is the story, seems promising, but now I'm stuck and can't get pass the multiple enemies combat. I just wish there is easier game difficultiy than just normal and hardcore mode.
