  At the moment it's 100% a walking sim with very limited npc interactions, damn near no "story" advancement and a complete lack of activities. I understand it's a small team but maybe if they spent more time on developing basic mechanics, a story, activities, landscape or pretty much anything that's not 50 different missionary positions, than maybe it'd be worth playing. Would love to see some type of coop in this eventually. Would help make the very empty world feel a little less empty. But, if this kind of game interests you, just wishlist it and check back in a year if not longer.

  There's definitely alot of work put into the game and looks good, but unfortunately after trying about a half hour of the game and seeing how absolutely bare bones are it is with almost no characters, or seemingly any missions in place . I'd recommend give it a bit more time for stuff to be added and will update the review once stuffs added. Though for right now for what little is in the game definitely not worth paying anywhere remotely near 30 dollar asking price.

  Over two years since its release and almost everything that would make this an actual game is still missing. The premise is promising but the few mentioned ship crew still aren't in the game, the ship itself is still worthless, there are some good development ideas but practically none of them are in the game, there are quite a few character customization options but who even cares about that when you're creating a character to play basically nothing. After two years of practically no development outside of reskinning the same skeleton so you can create a different shaped character to play nothing it seems they made enough of a game for a steam cash grab while no one ever had any intentions of making this into the game it could have been. Edit: I can certainly understand being a small team and choosing to focus on laying down solid groundwork before trying to expand and can even admit its probably the smart way to go about it since its likely to streamline everything else. As I said originally the premise is promising and there are some good development ideas. I will be watching and give it another try after every update. Its the actual gameplay aspect presented that made me want to play it to begin with and at the moment practically none of that exists, just semi-interactive porn and aesthetics. If I ever see gameplay that delivers on at least some of what it promises I'll change this to a positive review, favorite, and probably sacrifice tons of time to playing and dragging friends into it with wireless high speed sedatives if necessary. Its just nowhere even close yet.

  I find this game very entertaining and relaxing. I've played through just about all content, and it took me about 15-20 hours to get to the point where I am now. I have gotten intamency with (almost) all characters on the two available islands (currently). I am limited to interactions, as I haven't made a V character yet, which would allow me access to acts I can't do as a P character. The other 40 hours or so, is me exploring every nook and cranny I can find on both islands, looking for chests, seeing the landscape, and my favorite thing to do: hunt the uncured to add to my crew. The near endless randomizations to the hunt-able populace always has me entertained and looking for new variants of the hunt-able races. Be it the parts they come with, tail style, color patterns, vibrant colors, colors that just look badass, or how endowed or not they are. I find myself constantly looking for different variants to either replace a crewmate I've gotten "bored" (for lack of better term) with, or make a tough decision of "which variant (color, gender, parts, sizes, etc) do I really want more?" With new color schemes popping up even with as long as I've been playing, I personally have no issue playing a character I've "beaten the game" with. Even if I am happy with my selection of crew, I still find it relaxing to just go out to either island, walk around and enjoy what the team has presented. That, or simply hunt uncured to roleplay that I'm adding to a dewindling population (which is the actual theme and purpose of hunting to begin with). On this topic, the environments are absolutely stunning. The sunsets are beautiful, the grassy plains make for perfect fun spots, the variety of currently available woodlands are enticing. I am able to spend hours just looking and enjoying scenery, day or night game time. The devs have done a really good job with creating the world as a whole, so I tip my hat to them. Hunting in the environments can pose a challenge with foiliage, especially on Kizaan. The heavily wooded jungles makes finding and hunting them a challenge I gladly accept. Every step must be taken with a level of diliberance or you will lose your quarry. Most would get annoyed at this, but I personally find it more fun. the first island isn't short of challenges either. The rolling hills means you have to have a keen eye to trace movement or your target will get away if they change directions after cresting the hills. Do with this part what you will in decision making. Somethings I have noticed, but willing to overlook bc the game is still in development is some frame drops near certain areas on both islands, and every now and then, the grass with sway in the wind at mach speed. Of course "lack of content" is present, however something to keep in mind is, from my understanding, it is a small dev team working on an ambitious game. I would advise going to the Patreon for Ruffleneck to see what the devs are working towards adding.

  So i bought this game after i played the public demo. I thought the earlyaccess version would be a big improvement, but sadly the lack of content is by far to big to justify 25€. Things i miss in this version: - white endings in animations - backroundmusic - ambientcreatures (like butterflys, bugs, lizards, birds etc.) - populated town - sheated shafts In the current state i can't recommend the game. I refunded the game since its not a big difference compared to the public demo. But i think its very promissing. Will buy again after few major updates
