Very short, you get a pistol and near the end you get a shotgun, and that pretty much summarises it

    60 minute dlc

It's basically a DLC prologue. It's cheap standalone, and it's included in the Expansion Pass. I don't have an issue with it being 45 minutes long, unless the other DLCs turn out equally as short.

I liked the whole game but why was the dlc so short after downloading over 6 GB for the dlc alone?

This is way to short. I finished it in 40 minutes and nothing really happened. This felt like the orginal homefront with how short and linear it was. Also your pretty much just stuck with useing a pistol and shotgun for the whole thing with only like 2 of the attachments available then right before the end it just hands you everything as if you still have a few hours to go but nope one five minute fight and you get to watch a cutscene that really should have been gameplay. When I saw that it was 9gb i was really hopping for at least another 5 hours gameplay.

The first DLC to come out for Homefront: the Revolution was a bit of a disappointment. Early reports about the Season Pass DLC indicated that they would include entire new zones to explore and this short, linear tunnel shooter definitely does not meet that definition. Still, my rating isn't based on early promises but rather what the DLC actually is. Voice of Freedom is, as mentioned, a very short experience: maybe 30-45 minutes long if you include some poking around in corners (you could probably speed run it in about 20). There is very little exploration aside from a few side rooms which puts it entirely at odds with the 'open zone' nature of the base game. Your weapon selection is limited for most of the experience until the very end where you can select from a few additional options for the final fight. Throughout the DLC, prompts pop up telling you how to make a grenade or add weapon attachments, making the entire experience feel like an extended tutorial -- the linear nature adds to that impression. Is it fun? Eh, it's okay. The story is nothing much and the weapon restrictions take away from the shooting fun. There's pretty much no replay value due to its linearity. The change in play style doesn't really expand on the fun of the base game. If you already own it via the season pass or Freedom Fighter edition then you may as well play it. Otherwise, it's not worth the $5.99

It felt like a mission out of what the original Homefront game should have been. But for Homefront: The Revolution, it was pretty linear, and 6 bucks for a 1 hour experience is a little much. The main boss fight is the main reason I would play this, as it is exhilarating, but other than that I just felt...a little bored for half of it. Because of that, I can't really recommend this DLC. If your looking to relive what the orignal Homefront was like, then I would recommend it, but other than that, not really. Hope the other DLC's are better.

Done in 30 Minutes and I took my time. I'm a fan of Homefront, but his was the worst and shortest DLC I have ever played.

It is a pretty decent DLC, it felt very tense to play through but the 9-O are not a well-developed gang and they're kinda just there. It gives some backstory on how Walker saved the main character, so that's the best part about it. Same great gameplay and fantastic graphics are still present here. If you don't own the expansion pass, or the Freedom Fighter (complete edition) of Homefront: The Revolution, there is little content here to be very keen on getting. The DLC can take a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 1 hour, difficulty level changes length. It sure was fun, and tense, but there was quite little to it. I do wish they did the story from the book they released with the original Homefront game. Not bad DLC, a bit short, but depending on how much it costs (if it is £1.50 or below), I'd say it's worth it if you loved the game. I personally loved the game, and this DLC was a good addition to the game. It is linear, no open world stuff, and I advise you to play this DLC before starting the main campaign to get some more insight on how and what happened. 7/10.

Good dlc. Shortest, about 40 mins. But you play like Benjamin Walker. You play his story. With car reminded me game - METRO 2033. Nothing new. Games looks good. I don`t saw bugs, glitches. 7/10
