  Most or all bugs seem to have been worked out, but as always: save early, save often! This DLC adds 3 new ships and the dredging mechanic, to me it's worth every penny. Ol Ben is a very difficult starter scallop boat and everything is manual, strongly recommend at least one crew member. Sea Scout adds a second dredge and automated reels which are invaluable, as well as a really neat full interior and awesome overall design. Then there's the Viking Power, I got so excited when I saw this because it utilizes the X-bow design, and new A-frame cranes designed specifically for the Viking Power. It's very cool in all, with a very fathamable progression from ship to ship (though I did keep the Sea Scout because it's just a beast) If you love this game and you like the designs of these ships I'd say give her a whirl.

  Let's be honest, if you're already into the game enough that you're reading reviews for DLC for this very niche game, you should just buy it. If you're enjoying the game, lumps and all, you will probably enjoy this. It's still not without its problems, but it's a worthy expansion. A beginner/mid-tier/high-end lineup of three new ships. I like the design of all the new boats. Scallop fishing itself is quite easy; you don't need to buy bait or consumable equipment, and your nets and lines appear to be indestructible, so you just need to buy a bar tip to find a spot then just go blitz it. Pricing on scallops is quite high so it's very easy to make a lot of money in just a couple of days. Scallop gutting is very difficult. I just leave it to the crew.

  A welcome DLC with 3 ships and a new 'dredging' mechanic with associated crew skills. These ships are beautifully detailed and animated. Plenty of free-roam on the decks too. There are six habitats and you can fish out all these areas 'very fast' in the large ship so I find scallops are best for a 'filler' between other fish/crab/lobster seasons, and it works :) Get this DLC even if like me, you are hesitant to fish for stinky scallops lol.

  I've been having this awhile, but am just now getting to play it again. I can't believe I didn't try out the scallops right away! It's pretty fun! I am using the Ocean Scout ship with a full crew. Nice. :) I did have to do some diggin to find out how long the scallops last on my ship since they have a catch timer, but you can haul in some major money with these little fellas. If you really like this game, you will like this DLC as well.

  I suggested the addition of a Scallop DLC a about 6 months after the games released. Not long after the request I had seen the leaks for it and was pretty stoked being that I am a Scalloper in the North Atlantic. I am very excited to see what this company has the do in the future! Scalloper approved!

  Great to see more additions to this game. New ships look amazing. Played with the mid grade ship of the 3 so far and everything worked great, didnt come across any bugs. This game is one of a kind and Im glad to see more content added, was worth the purchase

  Great expansion here. Adds 3 detailed ships and yes they are cool. Then you can catch Sea Scallops! First time out, I used the Big Ben, an old aft cabin chugger with a 20,000 kg capacity. Got a bar tip for a location a week old for scallops, headed out and stayed out, had my crew working all day and through the night until I packed the vessel full of scallops then I went to Dennis Point and sold them all for $510,000, not a bad run. So yeah, if you like this game then this expansion is certainly worth it.

  Ever since Scallops has came out the game has been borked workers will freeze when doing their jobs. Fish Radar isnt accurate. Boats jam up. Its horrible
