  Hello friends, Today i will write a review for DLC for Dungeon Siege 3. This DLC is called TREASURES OF THE SUN. This dlc adds a new location with many new quests, and several new dungeons. It also adds new enemy types and new quests to enjoy. Mostly this dlc takes place in a desert, which is unlike any other location in Dungeon Siege 3 base game. It also adds new weapons and accesories to the game. So is this dlc worth it for the extra quests and location? If your enjoying the base game, then i say yes. I do not think it is worth the price they ask, so i suggest waiting for a sale since it goes on sale quite often. It also adds new drop type which is called essences. Basically, you use these to enchant weapons to make them more powerful. There is also a special fountain in the town in the DLC that allows you to respect your skill points to the ones you want and can change around. Some people say these changes are required why you should get the dlc, but there not. It is all optional. One nice feature is the level cap is raised in the base game from level 30 to level 35. This makes fighting the boss of the base game that much easier. Recommend for adding new map location, new quests and dungeons, and new enemy types. Also adds new weapons to the game and new essence drops. It also adds the ability to respect your characters points to fine tune your skills. Some of these options require you to go to the dlc location. I suggest if you really like the base game, get the dlc too. If you do not like the base game though, avoid at all costs as it is same game as base game, just with added quests and locations. NOTE: There is a error with the time. Apparently it only counts towards the base game, and not while your in the dlc. I played at least 4-5 hours more in the dlc.

  A nice expansion to the DS universe but very short. I recommend getting it on sale.

  Fun game but not nearly the same as 1 or 2 ! pros and cons pros +Nice story +ntresting characters +Nice landscape +Seems to have good amount of weapons Cons - Nothing like Ds 1 or 2 -Abit clumsy atfirst but you will get the hang of it -Pretty easy if you compare to DS 1 or 2 -Same style as ds1(dont know if its acctually bad) -No character customization nor anyway to name or create own character. But as conclusion a really nice game ! not really a hack and slash but a good game 4/5

  This is a mini-expansion and it's pretty much mandatory in order to enjoy the game to its full extent as it adds some features in the base game (enchanting,a new drop type:essences, respec and ultimate abilities). It also adds a new area (desert) and 5-6 quests with many boss battles and some more loot (many uniques among them). If you enjoyed the base game or if you want to experience the game in its entierity then this is a must.
