It is a classic point and click cooking game. I liked it completed entirely in 16 hours. A few of the achievements were a little buggy but got them eventualy.

I didn't follow the story closely, but I knew I needed to travel to different places with the cruise ship, cooking different cuisines and occasionally completing side tasks. The music is alright, which is varied based on the type of cuisine. As for the artwork, it's simple and not much details. Customers keep moving the fork to their mouth, indicating they are eating, but the food is not on it. The game is slightly more challenging than other time management games. Sometimes, I'm not sure whether the difficulty level makes the game difficult or the annoying characters, which always require priority care that makes the game challenging. Some of the dishes are pretty complicated and require several steps. However, the game didn't offer many demonstrations to guide players on how to cook some of the dishes. I have to either learn through playing the level or familiarise myself with the cooking process and replay the level. Sometimes, the clicking doesn't work well. I wonder whether the game has a problem picking up the pace if I move too fast. Although the earned money is to buy the upgrade for the restaurant, each level will only offer a maximum of $400 no matter how much extra money I made or even after I had increased the customer tips. The increment of customer tips is to reach the three stars easier, not to unlock upgrades faster. One good thing that the game eases my burden is I can click on the dish when the cooking is finished. This allows me to stop the timer from continuing to avoid the food getting burnt even though I don't have time to pick up the dish yet. Overall, it's just a typical time management game, nothing spectacular that I can highlight here. It can be repetitive for some players. It's not really time-wasting if you enjoy time management and cooking game, but if you are easily bored with redundant processes and hate multitasking with complicated cooking steps and annoying side tasks, this game is not suitable for you. After I had completed all the levels, I left one achievement - 20 blog posts. I don't mind replaying some levels with the blog posts task to get the achievement. Unfortunately, no matter how many times I had played those levels, it never took into account. Then, I found a "Rewards" page on the menu that shows the number of blog posts I had, and it's only 6/20. This means it doesn't count on those levels that I played. I tried the first level introducing the blog posts task - Level 5. I realised that the specific level is the ONLY level that the blog posts count. It doesn't make sense if only one level contributes to the count.

I used to love playing these games years ago: casual and fun food-based time management! There used to be so many in the market, but now it seems to be a dying breed. Not too many are made anymore and I definitely miss the days of "cooking dash" and "diner dash". This game is a nice, easy to jump into game. Not very hard or too challenging if you are used to these games, but enjoyable none the less. I would say future games in this franchise could do with a bit more difficulty. It takes about 7-8 hours to beat this game, but this is the sort of thing you can replay a year later and have it feel brand new again.

I'd rather give this game neutral grade in recommendation rating, but as usual there is no such option and by a hair I think this game deserves a thumb up. Well let's get to it. It is time manager published by Alawar so it is a bit different from what you usually see by the, how i call it, "time manager giant" Game House. What it is about? The standard mid 20-40 girl doing standard job (cooking, nursing humans/animals, investigating crimes, managing store/hotel). This time it's a ginger woman that cooks and serves food on a big cruise boat. There is also a plot that involves rich granny and scammer dude that pretends he's knows her long lost grandson. There are 60 levels (6 side levels) which seems to be standard for time managers. How would I rate plot of this game, "barely fecking remember it". Don't blame me I've played nearly every single one of TM’s on steam and plot is usually so similar that they are fused inside your memory into one. It is always girl doing her everyday job while some stuff happens while she's doing it. So my grade for the plot is "Standard out of 10". Graphics. They are quite good, nothing fancy. But it makes your eye happy so it is enough out of 10. Gameplay and difficulty. Now that's the only part, which from time to time, infuriated me to the point of loud screaming. And that is because some preparations could be a bit tedious, but that is not what made me angry. It is because how order looks compared to the ingredients you have on your table and how many of them and how inpatient customers are. For example, sushi in the last level. You have two sets of ingredients for them one is on six different plates and the other on five. So, customers comes in, ssks for 2 different sets of sushi and ramen. And for easier understanding let’s use numbers. 1 for Rice as base or foundation, then comes 2, 3 and 4 which are yellow, green and red "stuffing" (I don't know sushi never ate them) and 5 and 6 are different side sauces or something. So it could be from 1-2-5, to 1-2-3-4-5/6. And it could be very hard for your eye to register needed combination in 1 second so you don't lose your "momentum" of mixed running around putting ingredients together while also serving finished orders. Not to mention just to recognize what customer even ordered the details on pictures are too small and you'll, most likely, would need to squint to see it. Okay Now apart from trying to realize what is ordered others thing could happen, like tea you set to boil over boiled and got spilled , misclicks, lack of space on your tray for orders and just sheer anxiety over seeing all this orders hovering in the air and hearts going down and down. So you may need to replay some levels because you would be able to 3 star and heart them. Plus there are barely any tutorials that tell you how to prepare some of food items. Also there is only 1 mini game, It's find a match. Every first side level is that mini game, every second side level is to fill side quest heart delivering order in time before customers patience gets lower than 3 hearts. So in the end, is it good? It's okay not GM's Emily game but okay.
