  Fun little puzzle game, just keep in mind it only takes a little over an hour to finish.

  An ok small puzzle game consisted of 48 stages. Pieces move like chess but are also affected by gravity. Goal is to take away the red color piece, which doesn't move at all. The movement rule is quite free, so the puzzling comes mainly from map design. For that reason it is quite easy to use elimination to determine the next step and so most of the puzzles feel pretty easy.

  This game is outstanding in its simplicity and deviousness. Only wish it had a level editor and a way to share user generated levels.

  Good, relatively short game, and fun to see chess pieces doing crazy platforming things. :)

  Let me start off with this, I very much enjoyed the game for what little content it has. Is the game only $5, yes, but it only was 3 hours of gameplay because I walked away from the game for a good hour. The game is good, but it only offers 48 levels that aren't randomized to make replaying the game worthwhile. I cannot recommend this game when that is all it offers, along with having no way to create, share, and play custom levels among the community. For the price, it just isn't worth it, so I would recommend only getting it on sale or when there is more content.

  Chessformas or as I call it Chessformas+, is the improved version of the original browser game that brings some extra things to give a better experience. Although I played the original game on Newgrounds at the time and even in my review on that platform I suggested a sequel to improve in some aspects, this version shows us how to make changes and improve what could be improved, not enough as I would have liked but enough to differentiate the two versions. Let's start by saying that the amount of puzzles was multiplied by two, bringing completely new levels with even a new mechanic, plus as it is now no longer a browser game, you have the option to play in full screen or windowed which is very comfortable the truth. That if to be an improved version I would have liked some improvement as in the art style as you progress through the levels or more music tracks that you always hear an endless loop. I recommend it more for the new puzzles or if you really liked the original browser version, because as in the original version that concept of using the chess pieces in a 2D platformer scenario I still love.

  This is actually one of my favourite puzzle games. Chill and laid back, but hard. Very satisfying. Works awesomely on the Steam Deck.
