  look this is the biggest thing i don't get with the new unreal 5 update ,why tf would you make a sex game anything like a souls like ....like dam make a difficulty setting im not trying too pull my hair out on a boss fight its so unnecessary, or just add a difficultly setting again please ....no one is playing this game for the boss fights ...and the early game boss fight is so needlessly hard for like no reason man....like please its looking so nice now but this is a sex game im trying too get off and chill not fucking die all the time .im not trying too knock your game down but please add a difficulty setting ....i can promise you 90 % of the people who payed for this game isn't paying for the combat .

  This game feels like it was tailor-made for the kinda person who installs nude/sex mods into open-world games like Skyrim. Surprisingly solid gameplay on top of the sex too. The sex is pretty high fidelity and you have a good list of customization options for you character who you can alter at any time. Only 2 major complains though; One being that there's some god-awful clipping of genitals on occasion, and the other is that, even with a camera you can move and change the angle on, the angles for some scenes are so bad that you can barely see anything. Game is still in early-alpha and the quality is so high otherwise that I personally have high hopes that these issues will be resolved in due time If you like Skyrim but find yourself wishing you could fuck every character you came across, then this is the game for you.

  What it is: Egyptian themed Walking Simulator with sex scenes. There's hardly any need for a review after that. Couple hours worth of content, I spent most of my time running back and forth between a pretty dragon-lady and her fetch quests. The map has pretty cheeky markers that denote a "have sex here" scene, which is funny if you just want to make a beeline towards those. However, some are based around the few quests that are dotted around. So here's what I want to see in the future. First, quality of life. We need to be able to zoom out further on the map. I also think the combat needs tweaking, that or loot needs to be refresh-able (unless it is already, then ignore this). I was taking too many hits and I didn't run out of potions, but it felt odd to take a third of my health from some basic sexy stone golem swinging her fists at me. We need a horse or something. The aforementioned dragon lady two-parter quest had objectives across the map. I feel like half my playtime was that quest. I won't lie, I originally like the idea of your "look" being tied to equippable loot. However this comes with two issues: I still think there should be an initial character creator. I'm a bit of a scalie myself (thank Argonians for that) so I wanted to play this universe's "draconoid" or whatever they call it right away, but the initial skin is tied to a quest. Before that, I was running around with a dragonoid head but a cat's body. It looked odd. Tying to the above, I think there needs to be more clothing options. I ran around as a naked dragon for a while but most clothing is tied to specific body types that do not tie into each other. You 'have' to have a certain kind of body in order to wear certain clothing items and most of them are just wraps of some kind with all the genitals flinging in the wind. I can accept this as part of the local culture to some degree, but I think there needs to be a LOT more clothing options in the future. Ultimately, the market is a bit starved of sex games that have actual content. I wouldn't at all hate seeing a triple-A type game with all the trappings of an Assassin's Creed or Elder Scrolls... that also have graphic sex scenes. As it stands, all we have are mods and the animations in say, Skyrim are stuck looking like 3-second looped robots. I hope this one expands its actual gameplay further. There's nothing wrong with being a walking simulator, but if you're going to add in loot and combat then you better damn well do something more with it. Happy trails, folks.

  Big open world but not much interaction for $30. I know supporting developer through Patreon is good thing to do but I do not like the idea that only Patreon supporters get fresh update and inform future plan. I saw a developer comment that Patreon and steam product is different product. Umm what ? We bought this game to support you guys right? I dont like the idea to differentiate steam and Patreon, Their comment sound like "we wont explain our future plan on steam and update, so buy us in Patreon because it is seperate product." So as of it right now not worth $30. If you want to play updated version of this game just get the game on patreon !!

  The game is good, but the way the developer is handling the beta, for a paid product, keeping most builds for the Patreon while the people who purchased this game is left aside... I id bought this to help the developer but i don't recommend for what he is doing...

  Surprisingly few actual reviews of this game so here I go: It's a Skyrim like RPG, in an Egyptian setting that is very sex-positive. This means that next to combat and questing, you can also do sex. + The combat is serviceable. It needs some work but it has promise. + You can switch 'form' wherever/whenever. + Graphics, music and atmosphere are quite decent! + Detail on characters is especially nice. + You can be whatever you want to be (including gender, race, looks, etc.) + Very stable. + The writing and quest variation is decent, plus some surprising voice acting! - No support for anything other than 16:9 - There is a fast-travel system, but only from 'fast travel points'. You will do a LOT of walking. - No auto-run nor sprint, you have to hold the sprint button. As for the sex: + There is jiggle physics for all the parts. + Some of the interactions are more game-like. - Lighting is often not great. - Camera angels mostly obscure private parts and sometimes mess up. All in all, for an alpha build very stable and full of content. Current version (Sept 2022) takes about 6 hours to complete. Should you buy it? Maybe it's nice to support indie developers like this doing something unique and unusual. As for updates; the Steam version apparently gets big updates every quarter (so 4 times a year), while Patreon gets more frequent, smaller updates (which do end up on Steam eventually) I might update this review as the game does more updates.

  It is termed "Pre-Alpha" for a reason: This is a demo more or less. Saving is done by pressing "P" and the UI is quiet limited (but fairly pretty!). You spawn in, sample dialog, questing, looting, and exploring. You have a world map to navigate with. You'll see markers for various combat, quest, and "adult situation" locations. As you explore there will be chests filled with weapons, items, and customization parts. Customization consists of selecting a shape and a color scheme for the head and body. So you can have a feline "shape" and a cheetah color for the head and/or body, for example. Downstairs is a female part by default, however, you can equip and unequip a variety of male parts any time (some scenes require certain parts to view). The adult stuff is really good! Primarily futas and females. Obviously with a focus on furry/scaley things. Voice acting is decent, lots of sensual moaning. Overall the graphics are extremely good for the genre. However, each "encounter" has its own level of polish. Some scenes have multiple phases (which you advance with a button) with a beautifully messy and sticky finish, while others have just one phase with no detailed finish. You watch a cinematic camera only able to control animation speed, phase advance, or alternate the camera angles the cinematic mode uses (though several scenes only allow adjusting animation speed). ALL HAIL THE X-RAY INSIDE FINISH!!!! Combat is fine, but nothing to focus on currently. [b]Overall:[/b] What you are doing is supporting a dev's ambitious project and getting a fairly solid demo in return for a very early purchase. If you don't want to support them this early and you want to wait so you get a more complete game for the price they charge, I understand. It'd be frustrating if you spend almost $30 and got a demo while expecting a full game. However, updates should come (and have been at a decent speed for a bit) and this is a patreon project so it won't likely die. If you wanna donate early, sample the wonderful demo, and patiently wait for what seems to be an amazing game, get It!

  Disclaimer: This review is posted for a friend. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Right now, Carnal Instinct isn’t in a state that I can recommend unless you are buying purely to support the future promises of further content and the developers - and hey if you are, then great, but if you’re looking to buy the game for its current load of content then I would wait. Right now, some issues I have with the game are: >A very strong focus on futanari, in this case wholly feminine bodies with optional male genitalia. Right now I don’t know of any plans to expand (heh) on the selection in the future >Relating to the first point, no males are present, or at least I couldn’t find any during my playtime >There is a thin selection of playable races which change fluidly on command. Essentially the same face shape and reskin of either a feline or “draconic” texture >The game, while making use of anthropomorphic elements, doesn’t want to commit to them conceptually and is really just human interaction with a slight coat of paint >Animations, gameplay, audio and graphical FX, subtitles and UI are exceedingly janky (even with specs far above minimum requirements) >To see more detailed updates, roadmaps and to even get the latest builds, you must be subscribed to their patreon page and pay $8-$10 a month Again, this is to be expected and the devs are not lying to you. The game is barely pre-alpha and is as smooth as a Game Jam tech demo but if you’re okay with all that and want to see it grow, then and only then can I recommend it. For you filthy casuals I would recommend sticking to Skyrim modding.
