  Balloon Strike is a very badly made, simplistic action game where you press space to shoot an arrow and try to hit balloons as they randomly travel up along the screen, that's all there is to this. It's got a mobile app front end and looks and plays more like an Adobe Flash browser game than anything else, but we must remember this garbage is being sold on Steam, which was for PC games last time I checked. I wouldn't be surprised if this was just an asset flip. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The game features somewhat lazy, simplistic 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2023 (and this was released not so far back in 2018), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. That's right, only 2. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason. Balloon Strike is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Imagine expecting to get $3 for something objectively worse than free Adobe Flash games. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

  Simple balloon shooting game, Press W and S to move the bow up and down and Press Space to shoot an arrow. You only get 10 Shots to get the balloons. Each balloon you pop is 10 points. Super easy to get the 3 achievements. I finished it in 5 mins. It's a really good game in case you just wanna make a Perfect game easily for your steam showcase. Since it is super cheap and helped me out in my steam perfect game showcase I guess it was worth it.

  This game is shit. I beat it 100% in 3 minutes and had to leave it running on the title screen in order to play it long enough to write this review. See the screenshots above you? That's the whole game, right there! Mash the space bar and pop balloons, don't worry about missing the odd one, it really doesn't matter. Then you get 3 achievements (games like this have removed what little meaning achievements had) and you're left with the game forever. This is a game so effortless and shitty that you don't even have to move your bow and arrow at all, just hit space bar repeatedly and wait for your three achievements to come rolling in. Honestly, this game would be considered trash on mobile and I honestly think that's what it was designed for. Don't bother with this one. Even if you're doing a marathon of YFT games for your youtube channel, like I am. It's a complete waste of time, money and effort. You could easily create a few sprites and just pretend you played this shit anyway.

  Balloon Strike is a game where you have to shoot arrows at balloons to get points. Once you collect enough points you will unlock all of the three achievements which require 200 points and this can be done by spamming the space bar if you are not good enough to play without skill. On the harder difficulties it is harder to get away with a high score if you spam consistently and it shows that this game can be played fair and square. Not sure what the coins do if they act like a multiplier, but the game is very short and limited. I noticed that in the main menu there was no way to quit out of the game. There are up to four maps so far that I have seen and they are picked at random when started any difficulty. You can beat this game in just a couple of minutes for 100% completion of achievements. Rate 3/10 based on content and price. It is a bit expensive considering the amount of game play provided. The high score system does not even save your points either.
