  Honestly really fun and when you make a large scale battle it makes you feel good inside. 10/10 made me forget about parents divorce.

  I'm a big fan of sandbox games, So when I got my first PC this game was a must have. I first saw this game on Youtube videos like Baronvongames and Projectjamesfy (I don't know if I spelled that last one right) Like I said I love games like this where you can build and make things any way you want. But that's just what I think

  AW3 is a charming little thing. I bought it on a whim, as Ravenfield and Rise of Liberty were my bread and butter at the time - and this looked like a fun sandbox mash up of the two. Turns out, AW3 is so much more than that, and in many ways, it surpasses both of those games in entertainment value. First things first, AW3 is a very basic tool, yet in no way does it lose anything by lacking complexity. Currently, you load up a blank map, alter the terrain with a simple brush tool, throw down some objects/structures, sprinkle the map with some red and blue soldiers (of whom there are many types, and you can also create your own!), and press play! The Player can control any unit on the map, or spawn in as his or her own individual unit at the game's start. It's that simple! There are series of game modes with varying objectives, such as King of the Hill, Zombie Survival and Reach Point. So why do I enjoy this game over Ravenfield and Rise of Liberty? Well, it's simple really. Both Ravenfield and Rise of Liberty are both held together by rigid frameworks that discourage/disallow the player from customising them directly. Ravenfield wont let you choose seperate weapons/vehicles for the two teams, for example, and Rise of Liberty wont let you mess around with flag locations or how/where troops are deployed. Essentially, you load them up, and play them according to the dev's vision. In Ancient Warfare 3, the dev's vision is that you should be allowed to create your vision. He's giving you the tools, and he's saying "go forth and prosper!" He wants you to craft your own little maps, to design your armies, to place them and play them as you want. The mechanics and the A.I might be less refined than other titles, but the raw materials are there and that's what matters most. Your imagination, barring some restraints, is literally the limit in this game. As time goes on, and these restraints become fewer, AW3 will rocket into a bright future. In short, if you have creative flare or an active imagination, you will enjoy this game. Now if you'll excuse me, I've gotta go lead a squad of paratroopers into a zombie-infested city whilst an army of medieval samurai try to zerg our right flank, and an army of cavemen try to rush our left.   My son wanted to play this game and so I bought it for him. He plays this now as much as Minecraft, and loves it. New features and bug fixes are added regularly. The solo developer was quick to fix a critical bug involving saving and loading custom maps on Linux when I emailed him about it. Good game, good developer; highly recommended.

  [h1]wow[/h1] In my honest opinion, I think Ancient Warfare 3 is one of the [b]best hidden gems[/b] on the Steam store. I did't have high expectations for this game going in but OOOOOOHHHHH boy did it blow me away... I even played 10 hours the first day I got this game!! And that says something. Its a really unique game because it offers an insane ammount of customizablility such as designing your owns maps & troops. This is a great game for creative people of all ages. I can't wait for the dev to add more content. The only bad thing is that the AI is somewhat dumb. But over all I give this game 9/10

  I really liked that you can create your own battles and play in them. There are always cool new things. All modes are very well done but what I would still miss is an online mode where you fight against each other or with each other.

  This game is actually one of the greatest games I've ever played. Ancient Warfare 3 has advanced in many ways that Ancient Warfare 2 did not. Comparing the two would be like comparing cake and a mini cake. AW3 has far more content than anyone could ask for, and has a great developer who is always thinking of ways to improve the game. The community is full of very chill people who would gladly help those you ask, many good map/unit/prefab creators learned most of their skills from other map creators, I was one of the people who learned from them. This game can supply hours and hours of fun, whether you check out what other people create or learn to make your own maps and units. Some people complain about bugs, but its in Early Access, of course it will have bugs, and most aren't even major. The game is genuinely a great game, and is something that not many people know about, but once found, can be a great item to have in your Steam Library. I would recommend getting the game, maybe popping on the Discord, and joining the many great people who have purchased this game and enjoyed it themselves.
