Deduce the meanings of words the person before you uses to communicate with you.
Then try to understand them like a puzzle, one piece at a time.
You are free to perceive the meaning of the words you read.

The relationship between the two characters is built on the words you interpret.
And their story is also built on the words you interpret.

Their world changes according to your understanding.
Maybe their story is a short, ordinary story, or maybe it's a long, peculiar story.
Or both stories could exist at the same time. There's nothing wrong with that.

The story is only complete with your interpretation.
So certainly, every story your interpretation results in is correct.

The user interface could definitely use some work, as well as actually explaining how to interact with the game. But the concept and implementation are so genius that you can't really fault the developer, especially for this price point. You basically wake up in some house with a pretty stranger who doesn't speak your language. You talk to her, point at objects in the house and she says something about them in her foreign language. Word by word you label them to try and piece together what happened. The labeling process may seem a bit boring, but it's actually the best part of the game. Seeing words reappear in your conversations that you translated yourself is very satisfying. It's also a lot harder than just pointing at things, since she rarily says one word/phrase at a time. I didn't delve much deeper than that into it, but the game definitely grabbed my interest. Pick it up if language or puzzle games are your thing, it's only 4 euros.

I've always wanted to play a game like this and this one was the first one that did it just right! You're stuck in a place where you don't know the language and through context clues you need to slowly understand the meaning of all the words. If you're extremely meticulous, you can "solve" it in one play through, but even if you can't, you "memory" of each word will stick around in future runs so don't worry about not getting it perfect. (I was worried I'd lose all my progress and jotted it down on a separate paper haha) For this price and the uniqueness of the game, I highly recommend it to almost anyone (unless you're exclusively an fps action person) There are some decent twists where a word or two might surprise you!

Great idea, certain key words are extremely difficult to figure out without a linguistic background. I'm not sure if there are multiple endings to this, if so, I missed out. If not, the plot is a bit underwhelming at the end, but the concept of this is brilliant nonetheless. I overall enjoyed this

SPOILER pros: good concept and atmosphere cheap cons: The cipher is too easy and once you get the pattern, it's plain English. Personally this is a huge let down. If the language is completely original it would be way better The UI is kinda clunky. Even though this game requires reading the same texts many times, it doesn't provide skipping The English translation isn't good. It's understandable but poor, killing the immersion Though I have some complaints, considering one developer made this, it's a great game overall

Interesting concept, at the very least. You start by not understanding a single line of dialogue or writing in the game, and through context clues and inferences begin to slowly understand the language, and then after that you begin to piece together the plot with the female protagonist. Admittedly, the plot isn't particularly special and a little confusing, but being able to figure it out on your own is quite rewarding and certainly elevates the story. My two complaints are that the game left me wanting a bit more, especially after unlocking certain words, and
the game is inherently a bit easier to English speakers
. Otherwise, solid puzzle game, definitely worth the $4 and an afternoon.

Cheap, fun brainteaser that pulls you into its story. People say that there's a way to decipher what she says into ingerlish but I've never been good at those things. There is no game like this out there (not that I know of), and the developer showcases a clear consistent vision in his presentation of the games story. Buy if you like games

I honestly didn't expect to spend hours on this game... but this game got me hooked. The concept is awesome, and the unraveling of the story made me excited. This is one of those games where you wish you can forget and replay it all over again... Unfortunately, I'm not crazy enough to decipher how the symbols and letters work together, but assuming you have the knowledge -and the energy- to do it, this game will definitely give you more puzzle to solve outside of the game itself. Overall, a highly recommended game for those who like puzzle games that requires context clues.
