اتولد في الكويت من عيله سورية كانت بتتنقل بين سوريا والبلدان الأوروبية الأخرى حتى أنهى مدرسته الثانوية .

بعد التخرج، سافر الى لندن لدراسة هندسة الصوت. وهناك تزوج من امراة انجليزية وقفت الى جانبه وساعدته كثيراً لانهاء دراسته في بريطانيا ولديه ابنة منها اسمها نغم. وبعد انتهاء من دراسته هناك قرر أن يترك لندن ويذهب الى القاهره لبداية مشواره الفني .سامو زين سوري - بريطاني، حيث يحمل الجنسية البريطانية من زوجته الانجليزية.

وسامو زين عمل مهندسا للصوت في لندن لعدة سنوات لكنه عاد الى الكويت وبدأ عمله الخاص في المعدات السمعية تحت اسم "التغريد لأجهزة الصوت".

حصل على عرضه الأول في الغناء في أحد المطاعم الشهيرة في لندن، وطرح ألبومه الأول "ميلى يا حلوة" مع "شركة الخيول".

بدأ الاعداد لألبومه التانى مع أفكار جديدة لمدة عام كامل تحت اسم "أنا ليك"

He was born in Kuwait from a Syrian family that moved between Syria and other European countries until he finished his high school.

After graduation, he travelled to London to study sound engineering. There, he married an English woman who stood by him and helped him to finish his studies in Britain, and he has a daughter, Nagham. After completing his studies there, he decided to leave London and go to Cairo to start his career.

Samo Zain worked as a sound engineer in London for several years but returned to Kuwait and began his own work in audio equipment under the name "Twitter For Audio Devices".

He got his first singing show at a famous restaurant in London, and released his first album "Milly Ya Sweet" with "The Horse Company".

He started preparing his second album with new ideas for a whole year under the name "Ana Lake"
