BTS JHope | Fake Video Call Introduction

Jung Ho-seok, better known as J-Hope (stylized as j-hope), is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, dancer, and record producer. JHope BTS debuted as a member of the South Korean boy band BTS in 2013, under Big Hit Entertainment.

Before debuting with BTS, JHope BTS was part of the underground dance team Neuron. j-hope was already relatively famous for his skills in dancing before debut, J-Hope BTS won various competitions in his field, including first place in the national competition in 2008. His dancing skills eventually made J-Hope BTS gain an interest in singing and rapping, which then motivated him to audition as idol trainees. In fact in 2009, j-hope won a dance competition held by JYP Entertainment.

J-Hope released his first solo mixtape, Hope World, in 2018. The album received positive reception from critics, and stayed at number 38 on the Billboard 200 in the United States, making him the highest-charting Korean solo artist at the time. BTS's JHope was the first BTS member to enter the Billboard Hot 100 in 2019 as a soloist, as his single "Chicken Noodle Soup", featuring Becky G, debuted at number 81 on the chart. In 2022, J-Hope released his debut studio album Jack in the Box.
