Mobile gaming was considered casual by most gamers for a very long time but over the last few years, it has broken through the stereotypes and has massively helped in overtaking the entertainment industry by a distance. Many big names in the gaming industry are tirelessly working to cash in on this huge opportunity.
And with that, we are seeing a lot of great mobile games coming out this year. From relaxing open-world adventures to super intense combat, there’s a lot to explore. And that is why we have created a list of the top 10 upcoming android games that you can play in 2022!
Valorant Mobile
Valorant has been out and around for quite a while now but that’s only limited to pc gamers… but not for long. Riot Games confirmed the news about about a mobile version of Valorant is indeed under development and according to some leaks, it might be closer than we anticipate.
Valorant claimed to be one of the most popular games in competitive esports with millions of players despite being very limited in terms of accessibility. But with Valorant mobile that’s going to change and millions of mobile gamers will finally be able to enjoy the thrilling fps shooter right on their phones! While there’s no fixed release date, the game is expected to come out in late 2022 or early 2023.

I am pretty sure most of you have already watched the super popular Avatar movie and I wouldn’t judge you if you have watched it over 10 times. But some of us just wanted to be a part of this majestic world and Avatar Reckoining seems to offer us that chance!
Set in the gorgeous breathtaking world of Pandora, Avatar Reckoning is an upcoming MMO title inspired by the movie. The game puts you in the shoes of your favorite Avatar as you fight for survival against the RDA troops. Avatar Reckoning is being developed by Archsaur Games and we might just be able to get our hands on this masterpeice by the end of 2022.
Nobody - The Turnaround

I haven’t seen a game more accurate at defining the modern life problems than Nobody The Turnaround. It’s a realistic survival simulator where you have to make the most out of your time and resources in the world. Being a nobody like most people around you with no elite background, you have to get a job, work hard, and earn a living to get through the day.
I love the art style, it goes hand-in-hand with the overall gameplay and the feelings that it strives to bring in the players. The game is all set to release on all major gaming platforms including android in 2022.
White Day 2

White Day is back with yet another thrilling and terrifying sequel, White Day 2. If you have played the previous entry A Labyrinth Named School, you would know just what to expect from this Korean cult classic horror survival title.
Set in a dark school, the game puts you in the shoes of a high-schooler who’s caught up in a horrifying loop of evil. However, there is not much information out there about the story of the game as the developer is keeping everything under wraps. White Day is expected to release some time in 2022!
DarkBind
Set in the world of darkness, DarkBind is an upcoming MMOARPG title featuring thrilling PvP gameplay combined with intense combat. Coming from NetEase, DarkBind takes you on a wild adventure through the world of evil monstrosities that you have to fight in order to save humanity from ultimate destruction.
The game seems to be inspired by Dark Souls series and does a pretty job. DarkBind comes packed with tons of costumization options to give your character a personalized look. Explore the rich and vast world of DarkBind, fight intense real-time PvP battles, upgrade your character and become the most powerful warrior in this world of darkness.
Tower of Fantasy

If you have played Genshin Impact, you will feel right at home with this one. Tower of Fantasy is yet another gorgeous-looking action-adventure RPG title set in a fantasy sci-fi world featuring cute anime characters. The game features a vast open world for the players to explore at their own pace. The fast-paced combat seems super thrilling but much is yet to be explored.
Much like Genshin Impact, you will be doing a lot quests, side-activities, and tons of exploration. There are plenty of gadgets and weapons to choose from, which makes combat super fun. And of course, character customization to help you give your character a stunning new makeover.
Fading City
Game developers have a special place in their hearts for post-apocalyptic titles and it makes sense, these games have a huge fan-base all around the world. Fading City seems to be yet another great addition to the long list of post-apocalpytic survival games.
The visuals on this game look absolutely stunning but that’s not all that makes it special. Coming from NetEase, the game features intense combat with tons of tools and weapons to choose from. Work alone to explore this wasteland for resources or team up with up to 3 other players to increase your chance of survival.
Gangstar New York

Gameloft’s Gangstar series is, by far, one of the best open world RPG games in the mobile market. Most of the GTA lovers know how great this series truly is and it seems we are in for yet another massive feast this year and this time, we are hitting the sinful city of fictional New York!
Run, shoot, and ride through the gang-fested city of New York as you try to take over the big guns. The game features stunningly gorgeous graphics that are nothing less than a treat for the eyes waiting for GTA 6 to hit the market. The best part is you can play the game in cooperatively with up to 10 friends or show them who the boss is in competitve mode. There’s no release date yet, but I, for one, can’t wait to get my hands on this.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

There’s not much known about this game as the developers are keeping a lid on everything but Wuchang Fallen Feathers appears to be a souls-like title that puts you in the shoes of a young girl who has embarked on a wild journey to save her village from an evil force known as The Feathering, that is driving the villagers crazy.
From what we know so far, there might be features inspired by the Dark Souls series. As for the aesthetics and gameplay, Wuchang definitely reminds me of a more recent title Ghost of Tsushima, but there’s still a lot to learn about the game. Definitely keep an eye out for this in the future.
Dauntless

Last but definitely not least, we have Dauntless, an exciting action RPG title from Phoenix Labs that has been very well received by the players on many other platforms. It is yet to be released on mobile platforms and it’s been quite a while since we have heard anything from the developers.
While it might not have a fixed release date, Dauntless still seems like a great title with thrilling solo and group-based content. It comes packed with deadly weapons to help you slay vicious monsters and colossal bosses. Hopefully, the issues will get resolved soon and we will get a release date for this game.
That sums up our list of the top 10 best upcoming Android games in 2022 and beyond. Hopefully, this list will help you find some of your favorite games to play for the rest of this year.
