Food Souls’ Skills and the Departure
Coming from the mortal realm to the front gate and arriving at the “crevice between the three realms”, A hot breakfast and a cup of tea is being prepared for you, the food lover, in the kitchen. After spending time in the study room on how to collect and train the Food Souls, you will choose some of your charming but deadly warriors plus other real players’ assistance in the battle to defeat the opponents. Below, eight of them are explained and selected by the writer’s gameplay in details:
- Buddha's Temptation (佛跳墙): His sole ability is “Control” and falls into “Specially Super Rare (SSR)” rarity which it is considered as one of the powerful Food Souls. He has five skills including: Luring Aroma, Payback, Fragrant Altar, Booming Business, and Peaceful Sea in which the first two only attack a single target. By collecting 100 Buddha's Temptation keepsakes, you can own this piece of beauty!
- Eight Immortals (八仙过海闹罗汉): This combatant might be dropped and boosted by 50% in the Timed Summon. His single-targeted and AoE skills can be detrimental to those who stand up against him. They are Sword Mind, Bright Prospects, Magic Gourd (which deals 305% DMG plus 15% of a target’s Max HP as additional DMG), Peaceful Sea, and Reap What Sows. It is worth mentioning that this one has the “Burst” ability and it has the same rarity as the previous one described above.
- Lianhua Blood Duck (莲花血鸭): This Food Soul’s ability whose rarity falls into SSR category is to “burst” the enemies quickly. He has three combat skills and that is Stalwart, Blood Oath, and Dragon Clash. By choosing the adequate skill to fight, a master can finish the mission even on “auto-walk”.
- Fuli Chicken (符离集烧鸡): All of the Super Rare (SR) can be achieved by collecting 75 of keepsakes. So, a musketeer like this is no exception. Enflame, No Bullets, and Homerun Shot are his skills with a defensive action ability known as “Dispel”.
- Squirrel Fish (松鼠鳜鱼): uses “Burst” to wipe everything that is in front of him. A slippery SR whose skills are Spike Thrust, Warrior Wrath (deals 210% DMG by inheriting the spirit from the master Zhuan Zhu), Lunar Comet, and Friend of Fowls.
- Seasoning (调料): is a mysterious Food Soul that is not yet classified and it is available in the store. She owns the “Material” ability to knock down whoever makes her annoyed. Season, With Relish, and Five Flavors are what she uses.
- Osmanthus Wine (桂花酒): Once a master choose this Food Soul, then he/she should get a good grasp of his skills which is Granting Wine, Timely Rainfall, Falling Osmanthus, and Harvest River.
- Dinghu's Veggie (鼎湖上素): Most masters might pick this Food Soul for his ability and strong skills. He uses “support” and his skills are Awakening Whack, Selfless Act, Empty Aggregates, and one other skill as Green Thumb.
Once you (as the master) have cleared all the 14 tutorial stages from “locking a target” to “learning more tricks” and earn the rewards and skills, you might want to enter the other realms with five different team formations to show yourself in normal and hard stages of a battle. On top of that, when you reach level 11, the expedition or “explore” section will be unlocked to expand your empire.
