Prepare for Pumpkins - It’s Halloween in Pokémon Unite
2021-10-28
With the Aeos Island Halloween celebrations, you will find plenty of pumpkins in Pokémon UNITE. From October 20th, 2021 to November 10th, 2021, the game will provide a variety of tricks, including the brand new Mel Stadium battle, special rewards for you to win pumpkins, and decorating your trainer and your Pokémon . Don’t be surprised if the game looks scarier than usual!
When you have a quick battle at Mel Stadium, you will definitely notice a big change. Now in the game, the battle item button controls your pumpkin throwing. Click this button, and you will cast a pumpkin covering your opponent's Pokémon in a short time. Note that you can also hit your teammates, and they can do the same to you, so be prepared to dodge incoming products!
When a Pokémon is covered by a pumpkin, it cannot score, it moves by scrolling, which increases its speed. Although Pumpkin Pokémon cannot use their normal movements, they can indeed use a special movement called Pumpkin Push. This rolling sprint can be used to bump into the Pokémon on the opposite side and push them aside, as well as to escape trouble.
If this doesn’t excite you, participating in the holiday battle at Mer Stadium can also earn you collectible pumpkins that can be exchanged for limited-time Halloween items. Mer Stadium will be decorated before Halloween until November 10th, so participate in as many games as possible before then.
Pumpkin bonus
There are other ways to get pumpkins. From October 20th to November 7th, daily sign-in rewards, from October 24th to November 2nd, complete daily tasks and collect more. These pumpkins can be used in pumpkin exchange to obtain items such as battle point promotion cards, greedy joint licenses, Halloween backgrounds, Halloween hats and more.
Halloween-themed goods will also be available in the store. Look for weird fashion items to dress up your trainer-and limited-time Pokémon Holowear, including costume party style: Lucario and costume party style: Zeraora.
The Pumpkin Exchange and Halloween store items will be launched before November 10th, so don’t wait to freak out some styles.
In this Halloween season, Pokémon UNITE must have a lot of things to do, so grab those gourds!
