  I didn't care for this game for the first 20 minutes or so but then it started to grow on me and i began to gain interest in the character development. There are multiple story lines to choose from which i enjoyed and there are many hot scenes. It's not the best AVN game out there but it held my interest.

  I ate so much bacon and eggs that I died of a heart attack on the 14th day. It's cheap so you can't expect much. For the quality of the game it should be cheaper. MC tells you he's not going to pursue women at the start of the game. MC goes on to spout pickup lines to every woman he sees and bumps into. You almost don't have any choices. Same scenes over and over again. Dialog seems to take a major hit being translated into English. I assume it was originally written in Russian. Every morning you click on the shower and then you click on the kitchen to just click on the stove (bacon and eggs). Now you're setting at the table with your bacon and eggs. You don't actually eat them...they're just there. You can't click on them. No interaction with any objects, just boxes in the lower left-hand corner depicting rooms. You're better off spending your time cleaning your toilet than playing this. At least you know your toilet will be free of what this game is. POS.

  I can't recommend this game for its English translation. So many issues with the translation, so many typos, so many missing words... Terrible English is spat at your face from the start and keeps harassing you till the end. Story is not terrific, and has many consistency issues. I only played the game once, so I can't tell if those depend on the choices you make or whether they are omnipresent. I cannot recommend the game for the story either. Animations aren't all properly looped... Also, choices are mostly either be a jerk or a good guy. You can't really role play, only follow along. The things I liked though, was how you can navigate places. I wish this was used more extensively though. Feels like the game barely scratches the surface of what could have been done with that. Second thing I thought was nice was the female characters in the pics. Pics feel a little old for today, but some of the characters are really very good looking and aren't extravagant like in other visual novels who make sure to stereotype characters to the maximum to make sure each of their personalities stand out. Third thing I found was nice was the dirty scenes. They are numerous, varied, and clearly the focus of the developers. I think this is the most well furnished visual novel of that "small" size I have played ever. (It does not take long to complete a play through). So basically, not recommended if you like a good story. Not recommended if you can't bear typos and poor translations. Not recommended if you only want state of the art pics and animations. But if all you look for is a quick story with loads of lewd stuff, then this should be a good choice for you. I choose to recommend the game for its very varied lewd scenes, for clearly there was dedication to that part of the game. But... that's it.

  Twists of My Life

  Twists of My Life is a NSFW visual novel game about the adventures and miss adventures of a horny teenager in college. The target audience for this game is straight males with a fetish for college stuff.

  Questions you might have if you're interested in playing it:

  <*>What is it exactly that you do in the game? It’s a visual novel where you click on stuff, read dialogue, make decisions over random stuff and obviously engaging in +18 action with the women of the game. <*> Will it make my eyes bleed? It's fine. Nothing great, but nothing terrible. The backgrounds are bland and boring, models’ bodies are great and have really good looking textures, but the heads and especially the faces are kind of creepy. They are way too close to the uncanny valley for my liking. Most of the game’s NSFW bits are still images but sometimes you get animations of 2 or 3 seconds that run at about 10 or 12 FPS at best. Plus, some animations look stiff and lifeless. <*>Does it have a good story? No. It’s the run of the mill story about a guy that haves sex with lots of females in a college setting. This game has a long story and the protagonist gets involved in way too much drama and none of it is really original or interesting. If you have ever watched porn movies about college stuff, you have seen the story of this game. <*>Does it have a good soundtrack? It's fine. What matters for a good soundtrack of a game is to enhance the gameplay and the story. The OST for this game kind of does that, but not particularly well. The best thing that I can say about it is that it didn’t annoy me, but I don’t like it. Again it’s fine. <*>Does it have replay value? You have multiple choices that unlock different outcomes and sex scenes. If you want to see all the things that this game offers, you can beat this game in a respectable 3 to 4 hours and replay the whole game to see what you missed. This game has 16 possible endings. <*>Does it run well? I had not experimented a single technical issue with this game, I’m sure it will run without any problem on all modern PC’s. <*>Is it fun? If you like the premise of the game, you like visual novels with lots of text and you like how the models look, this game will be enjoyable for you.

  So what is Twists of My Life?

  It’s a game that bored me. I personally didn’t care about any of the characters. The NSFW parts are fine but not particularly enjoyable for me, the 2 second loops animated at 12 frames was more jarring than “fun”. For some reason the games force you most of the in-game mornings to take breakfast and take a shower without anything interesting, relevant or “fun” happening.

  Is this game worth my hard earned money?

  It’s a long game with lots of text, generic plot, bland characters and some enjoyable NSFW bits, except the 12 frames animations. I don’t particularly enjoy it, but I admit that the game is cheap. There are people who love games where you can go to college, get bullied and have sex with characters which look like dolls. Rating: 5/10 Not great, but not terrible.

  "Twists of My Life" is a visual novel that will keep you entertained for hours, if you enjoy feeling like you're stuck in a bad student movie with poor animation and predictable story line. The characters are not relatable, the graphics are average and the sex scenes are not worth the time. The only thing that makes this game slightly interesting is the multiple endings, but the choices you make to get to them are not that meaningful. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who needs a nap.

  A pretty unique game of the genre as you can't build a harem and there is no incest. You have to make choices during the game and to see all content, you will need to replay some parts, thus making it quite lengthy. Characters are very interesting and well written, artwork and renders very good, same for the animations. A must buy for lovers of ren'py adult VN.

  I loved Acting Lessons, but this one? Well this one is not that bad its more of a meh. The story is bland, and really boring Unnecesery clickings that have no porpuse. Also the fact that there is no sound, no music, just silence makes it harder to not fell asleep while reading it.

  Twist of my Life is OK 6/10. There is obvious translation errors from the native game language to English and they are quite regular. The reused scenes and dialogue are redundant and detract from the story progression. They feel like filler until the next adult scene. Graphics are decent and the NPC models look great. Once you get past the repetitive scenes the story does kick in a bit and deliver a fair romance experience. This is only the third VN I have experienced. Compared to "Acting Lessons" it needs improvement to match that title's quality.
