  So, I previously "reviewed" this before having played it to share my thoughts on the story DLC costing money. TLDR I was fine with it as it's a great way to support the devs for all their continued hard work on the amazing and free main game. Now I have finished A Sunny Day. In case you didn't know you need to have all three felines on the main title screen (by getting at least a good ending with each of them), and then click on the photo in the background to access the Epilogue. Here are my thoughts: I played a whole new game from the beginning to see the new CG's the DLC added and let me tell you they are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I was so glad to see some appear in places I definitely thought there should be one. Plus they're charged with emotion and I seriously feel like they contribute to the game as a whole. As for the actual Epilogue, it honestly was different from what I expected, but in a good way. I thought that the whole DLC would be just at the convention. Go there, do stuff, the end. I was surprised to see there is more afterwards, even if it isn't a lot I was still very happy. Plus the plot covered things I wouldn't have guessed, things which added more depth to the characters and I believe it serves the overall story of Nekojishi. I'll be honest, it did still feel too short to me. However, I still definitely recommend the Expansion. The things it adds to the main game, plus the pleasantly surprising Epilogue shows how much the devs care about their wonderful creation. I really hope they make more content for Nekojishi in the future. Because I had an amazing time with this one!

  Okay, so. I’m honestly really disappointed. While the backdrops were nice in the main story, honestly the epilogue was not only short, but it added almost nothing to the story, and what it DID add was cryptic and honestly almost indecipherable. It was about 5 minutes of gameplay, and it was deemed an “expansion pack” which usually implies more and got my hopes up. It didn’t really expand on the characters too much either, only Shu-Chi really got any additions to their character and like I said it was cryptic and not exactly.. complete. The outfits were nice, of course, but it overall still felt really lacking. I’ve picked all the options (of which there were two that didn’t do much), and I have yet to find anything else, so i don't know if i'm missing something or if it's just this damn short. Of course, i'm not saying that these creators don't deserve support, however this DLC is kind of lacking. I'd recommend buying it in the Voice Pack bundle to make it worth your while.
