  Oldie but Goldie, as a regular a tester for numerous Modification you could argue that I am biased,and you might be right! I got the game on it's original release day on April 6 2006. Since then I put countless hours into this game, having recorded well over 600 Videos featuring all kinds of mods. And what I said back then is all the more true nowadays with all the mods that you can get. There is no game like EM4/911 FR Maybe one day we will say the same about Emergency 5, but that day is far away yet, until that day arrives all hail the King of Emergecny RTS games, Emergency 4/911 First Responders There are only two things that I could say that are negative, - the graphics enigine is starting to show it's age - the learning curve is steep and can be overwhelming for some by the sheer number of calls in a day.

  I've spent hundreds of hours working on mods for this game. Now pushed thousands Yes, the game is from 2005, BUT. It has mods continuously being made for it. It can be as complex or simple as you want. Widescreen: there's literally thousands of posts on how to make it accept larger screens, super easy, takes apx. 30 seconds. Mods: limitless. There are tons of mods covering many cities, and some still currently in production! graphics quality, even though it's a bit older, is still solid, and it's a lot of fun. My hours on steam don't reflect anywhere near my actual time. I strongly recommend this to anyone. There is a massive community for this, steam is not one of them currently.

  Emergency 4 n is a game that holds a special place in my heart. I first played it many years ago when I was small little kid who bought this in Tesco, and it was one of the first simulation games that truly drew me in. As I sit down to write this review, I can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia for the countless hours I spent playing this game. One of the things that really stands out about Emergency 4 is the level of detail in the gameplay. From managing resources to directing emergency vehicles, there is a lot to keep track of. It can be overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's incredibly satisfying to see everything come together. The graphics and sound design are also top-notch. The emergency vehicles are realistically modeled after real life German EMS vehicles, like Volkswagen Passat as Police Car or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as Ambulance. The environments are well-designed and nostalgic, it really got the aestethic of German city whether you're dealing with a wildfire in the forest or a terrorist attack in the city. But what really sets Emergency 4 apart, for me, is the sense of community that developed around the game. The modding scene was incredibly active, and there were always new vehicles, missions, and maps being created. I spent countless hours downloading and testing new mods, I felt in love with Czech Republic, Los Angeles, US Army and USSR mods. All in all, Emergency 4 is a game that I will always hold dear. It's a testament to the power of simulation games to immerse players in complex scenarios and provide a sense of satisfaction when everything goes according to plan. If you're a fan of simulation games or just looking for a challenging and immersive experience, I highly recommend giving Emergency 4 a try.

  Best game in the Emergency series. Already owned 911 First responders but had no doubt about buying the game again just for the delux map. Only bad thing about the game is that people thend to get stuck on dumb object every now and then.

  Emergency 4 is a Classic! I have spent countless hours playign this, and 911: First Responders which was it's North American name, years ago. If only the new Emergency games were as detail oriended as this one. Allowing you to purchase your own vehicles, and such. This is truly much better than the newer versions, if you can get over the lack of ability to customize your graphics and control keybindings.

  the mods for this game are very fun and very relistick to a point I was a vol firefighter for nearly 30 years and now unable to do it becuse of my back this game lets me do job i love in fun but challenging way
