  Creature Creator is a charming little Spore-inspired game that becomes EVEN BETTER when you have friends to play it with - it's very obviously unfinished and janky but the pure chaos of the customisation the game allows you is more than enough to justify its INCREDIBLY LOW price point. Buy it to support a potentially incredible game, or just to mess around!

  It's the Spore creature creation engine, but minus all the other parts of Spore that people didn't like as much, and made with modern technology. Also, no EA involvement, so that's a nice bonus. As of this writing, it could use some more of the Spore CC's features like asymmetry and shortening limbs by removing segments, as well as fun tricks like fusing limbs to body mass for shapes and making "floating" limbs if possible. Hopefully these features get added as it keeps gettin updated.

  Its literally the Spore Creator 1:1 but with multiplayer and a small area to walk around. Doesnt offer the ability to attack, hard to control creature creation menu, cant put stuff on limbs for example (like in spore) only on the body.

  as i am a spore lover i was waiting for this game and its really nice to have but theres only one place you can be at the moment and controls are wonky but im really excited to see what there is to come for the game!

  Honestly, the game is not that bad considering the cheap price. Currently, you can create and customize creatures out of different body parts scattered around different maps. Depending on what parts you use, your creature can have the ability to fly, swim, jump higher, sprint faster, etc. But that's it, there's nothing else to it, literally just a creature creator. After doing all the quests and trying to collect all the body parts and patterns, there's nothing else to do (other than to create more creatures and maybe try getting all the achievements) Do I recommend this game? Yeah, it's pretty cheap and you can play with your friends.

  While this game is in VERY early beta (as of writing) and lacking in things to actually do, just having a character creator with this much flexibility to create silly monsters is more than fun enough to justify the low cost. The real value here right now is that you can export your creations to a 3d model to rig and use however you want! As an open source project I'm really hopeful for this game's future and can't wait to see what people do with it.
