The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is a humorous science fiction novel by English writer Douglas Adams. The first book of the series of the same name. The book begins with the fact that the house of the protagonist Arthur Dent is trying to demolish to build a new highway. The story was originally embodied as a radio show for BBC Radio, which premiered on March 8, 1978. After the release of the last series of radio shows, Adams received an offer from two publishers about the publication of the “Guide ...” as an art book.
