  Good Resources, but it would be nice if the sample project was also converted into MV project, the samples provided are in MZ format

  Have mixed feelings about this DLC. Definitely worth at 40% or less in a sale. The good: more music, enemies, background, and what is the best: they actually match the art style of the base resources and even have bust portraits for all MV characters, including enemies (humanoid ones). The bad: no expressions. And to make it worse, they added expressions for the weird RPGMaker 2000 characters, but not for the new ones?? What are they thinking? Also, bigger, full body pictures of the new characters would by nice, so you could make bigger bust portraits for the dialogs and menus.

  I have not dived yet into everything, but I stumbled on an issue with the Owl1 and Owl2 (m4a and ogg) sound effects which are saturated, therefore basically unusable. An update fixing these would be welcomed. It is a shame given there is a lot of content and the quality of everything else I checked is very good.

  While the asking price is daunting, this pack contains a wide variety of assets to enrich your project with. Music, tilesets, townspeople, portraits and more. For me, the inclusion of knee-up portraits of the default actors sealed the deal. The sheer volume of content in this pack justifies the price. But if you're still not convinced then wait for the sale. I did, and I picked this up for 45% less.

  [h1]OUTDATED-->For those interested in the content of this pack but without a license for RPGMaker !!! MZ !!!:[/h1] Update_2: The RPGMaker Support now replied to my email and basically confirmed the response to ザケリウム1995f 's previous (or latest) request. A license for MZ is not required to use this resource pack with MV and the EULA is currently reviewed and soon to be updated to reflect this. I am changing the the rating to "Recommended" at this point in good faith that the EULA will be really updated soon. I'm also going to mark the corresponding parts as "Outdated" even the EULA changes are not yet performed. The review will be overhauled completely in the near future. OUTDATED Update_1: It seems that ザケリウム1995f (check the review for more information) had more luck contacting the Publisher. Since my email to the support address that is mentioned in the EULA is still unanswered and the "MV Trinity Resource Pack_EULA.pdf" is unchanged I (totally for myself) decided to consider it (still) legally binding and can (still) not recommend the resource pack (really wish I could). END OF OUTDATED OUTDATED: Please be aware, that under the EULA shipped with this package (as of the 26th of March 2021) you are probably only allowed to use this content with MV if you also own [b]RPGMaker MZ[/b]: "The resources in MV Trinity Resource Pack are created for use in game development only, using RPG Maker MZ. Alternatively, you may also use these materials with other RPG Makers, as long as you have a valid and legal license for both engines. You may not use these materials in other game-development software." [Taken from said EULA .pdf-file] Honestly for a (pricy) DLC advertised for MV this is a NO GO. The mere fact that it is not noted on the corresponding page of the DLC that RPGMaker MZ probably is also required makes this basically a fraud. I am however, reaching out to the rpgmaker support first and ask for a clarification on the licensing matter. I am going to update this review accordingly. Given this turns out to not being an error (copy pasted the EULA from the MZ Version of this DLC for example), i am most likely going to go for a refund since a DLC that I am not allowed to legally use, is a DLC I am not interested in owning or paying for. This is quite a sad thing, since END OF OUTDATED The content of this DLC (from the short glimpse that i took in the file explorer) seems well worth the money. A lot of usefull battlebacks, Characters and music. The probably best part are the tilesets and the Character Generator Parts since those contain the tiles for a wide variety of regions and and the corresponding clothes and stuff for characters to populate those places. (A thing that probably bugged me the most about RPGMaker from the beginning.) It seems like a lot of those tilesets contain stuff from the RPGMaker MV standard resources but since they also contain a lot of additional stuff and are forged to be directly imported and used as complete tilesets within a project i am fine with that. Same thing goes for the Character Parts by the way.

  I got this DLC about four months ago, mostly for the cherry blossoms and locomotives. The variety is astounding, though I should mention that I got this on sale for $27.99, not the full price of $34.99. Still, it's pretty good. I was a little concerned about this DLC's EULA, so I emailed the RPG Maker support center the same day I bought this DLC. I asked, "Checking Steam user reviews of the 'MV Trinity Resource Pack' for RPG Maker MV has me confused about whether I am allowed to use this DLC without also being [I mean, owning] RPGMZ." I was prepared to ask Steam for a refund if I received a "no." But thankfully, they said, Hi John, Thank you for contacting us. You're not required to own RPG Maker MZ to use the assets in the Trinity resource pack in RPG maker MV. The language in the EULA is being reviewed to clarify this and will be updated soon.   I like the pack for the most part! The only complaint I have, is that the generator parts are not showing up in the generator, even though I copied and pasted everything just like it was in the folder. Anyone else have that problem. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Other than that, I love the pack. Get it on sale. I wouldn't pay full price for it.
