  AVOID Last update was in June 2021 and the game itself doesn't have much to offer. This game probably will never be released - announcements are only about discounts and servers being down or up. About the game You cannot change resolution and you don't even have audio settings here. Concept/purpose of the game is quite unclear (would be better for some people if player's goal would be written, instead of spoken). Also, meeting requirements doesn't mean you will have a stable 30fps.

  do not buy this. it's absolutely dead and has way to many bugs to justify purchasing it. devs don't care to update this game any longer so they don't deserve more money for this incomplete game

  Good enough game but it's extremely overpriced considering the content, that's the only reason I can't recommend it. VR PLAYER: Basically the VR player just wonders around one of two maps, searching for dolls (that change their spawn location each round). Find a fake, you keep looking, find the real one and get to the exit. All the while there's a cheaty ghost lady that follows you around, but you can throw items to lure her away.. she also teleports to keep her close to you. MULTIPLAYER (phone players): The multiplayer is a nice addition but the trailer kinda lies about the excitement level. Basically you can have 8 other players goto a website and use a code for the match from their phones. You don't see the game from your phone, just a static map of the level. You then pick a doll to "trap" which literally is just a couple different "scare" options, and otherwise you have a power meter slowly building that you can exchange for different tiers of abilities like fog, a force push near the VR player and hands that reach from the ground to slow the player down. Honestly, phone players do nothing more than annoy the vr player, it doesn't really add anything to the gameplay, but of course it makes it fun since it's "technically" multiplayer and is a great social experience. REVIEW: Not worth it. I bought this game for like $4 thanks to my Steam winter sale tokens AND Reiko being on sale, otherwise the price is insane considering that this game has no replay value for a solo VR player. It's great with a bunch of friends and I wanna be clear that Reiko isn't a bad game at all, it's just overpriced.

  The fact that it earned an award for most immersive game is well deserved. The main issue with playing on a single vr with multiple people is that it easily gets dull for the spectators but, connecting the audience with the VR player was a genius solution. There is nothing alike this game on the market yet. I hope this will be an eye opener for game developers and for those whom have worked on this game, keep up the great work!

  Very fun, scary/creepy game! Showing this to people for the first time is hilarious- awesome concept with the VR vs. Crowd thing- I hope the devs stick with it and continue to improve this already awesome game

  The game is very creepy and tense, and the graphics are good, but the actual game is extremely short. You basically walk around in a house or in a temple for 5 minutes, find some dolls holding an object, when you find the one that doesn't disappear, you have to go to a picture of a gate. That's it. Game over. I played each one twice and it took 25 min total, now there's no real reason to play this game again. It has a cool atmosphere but not worth more than $2 or $3 dollars in gameplay.

  Reiko's Fragments: The One Trick Pony. Reiko's Fragments presents itself as the horror game where your friends control the scares. This is implemented through a simple website connection, where friends gain energy to use a set of scares, each with their own price. This game is only exciting if you have no idea what you are going into, and the novelty wears off quite quickly. The only real "scary" entity in the game isn't controlled by players. The players act as nuisances to distract the player from the real threat. Only giving the players three abilities per map (the game only having only two maps, each lasting at most five minutes) really shows the VR player, even if they have never played the game before, the lack of power that the other players have. The game felt shallow. There was so much that could have been, but none of the potential was used in an exciting or scary way. Having the ability to slam a door in your friends face sounds appealing in a horror setting, but when all that you can do is slam the door in your friends face, and it has no consequences other than "scaring" them, it gets tired fast. If there was more synergy with the creature, and the abilities that the players are given to manipulate the world, this game would stand out as something that no other game can deliver on. Sadly, having only gone a small fraction of the way towards making a good product, this game only exists as a 10 minute cheap thrill that deserves a refund.

  Too effective, can't play, have to return. I don't do jumpscares well, friends had a fuckload of fun though so if you can handle it or you hate one of your friends go for it!

  Completely unplayable on the Valve Index controllers. Can't turn with the joysticks. Forward/backward controllers are matched to the trackpad which also brings up the Quit menu. No way to change this in game.

  I wanted to like this game so much, it's a great idea but I don't think it was executed properly. The mobile portion of the game...it's not fun honestly. The PC section of the game (in VR) doesn't run well and to be frank isn't that scary even when Reiko is chasing you.
