Kapampangan Phrase Book 簡介

The Kapampangan Phrasebook is a collection of common phrases, greetings and sample conversations in Kapampangan translated into English, based on a booklet published by the Holy Angel University Center for Kapampangan Studies. It is useful for non-Kapampangans who are learning the language for the first time.

The Kapampangan Phrasebook is the first of a series of phrasebooks to be published by the Center and converted into mobile app.

The Kapampangan language is truly a language unlike any other, with a unique grammar and syntax. As early as the 1600s, scholars have tried to analyze it and document its nuances and peculiarities, with varying degrees of success. Someday a comprehensive and updated Kapampangan Grammar will be written and made available to everyone, as part of the ongoing effort to save the language.
