  Being the saucy middle aged man I am... (still have all my hair and it's only like 5% grey) my days of banging random hot young chicks left me 60 pounds and two kids ago.. but like most hot blooded guys I'm still on the prowl... seeing this game I decided I needed to buy it and try to relive my lost youth.. (married at 25.... sigh) Man of the House is a unique experience,,, it's part visual novel, part dating simulator, part resource management... (lets be honest, we're here to see bewbs and sex, so we used the option to forgo all the annoying management stuff, although if we left it on the game would have extended well into 40+ hours) The Story - You play as a guy living in a house with three hot woman.. Claire, Ashley and Veronica.. Claire has decided to let you live in the house rent free while you sort out your life.. So begins the story of a man devoid of morels, full of sexism, and an appetite for sex that would make Ron Jeremy jealous.. Gameplay - you travel a city map with numerous locations,, some of the locations have multiple areas you can move around in... As you travel from location to location time moves forward... The game has 24 hour cycles, and 7 days in the week, Mon - Sun. The females follow certain cycles so you can easily locate them and progress the story.. By going to certain locations at certain times you unlock photos and videos which progress your story.. The game offers hints to help you progress your relationship with each female along.. Some are vague, (but if you get really stuck, you can ask the developer will give you details on the forums, see that Epicgames, forums are useful). The game has a cellphone which you use to save, load, text, look at pictures, achievements, etc etc etc... You have a bar which shows your stats,, Tiredness, Hunger, stank, and mood.. You're job is too keep those bars high, while working one of two jobs to get money.. (you didn't think you could bang hot chicks without money yet.. Didn't you pay attention?) The game has lots of micromanaging to try and push the story forward.. Pro's Awesome artwork realistic looking photos and videos 5 out of 5 on the fap o meter Fun story very addictive LOTS OF CONTENT and photos and sex,,, oh my... 22 hours for me, and I skipped through alot of text and disabled the management stuff.. Con's Almost no replayability Very grindy (IE do the same scene a bunch of times to progress your love meter by one..) Repetitive, goes with Grindy, having to see a sex scene repeatedly is one thing, having to do it so you can unlock the next one is just.. meh.. and possibly artificially inflates the play time.. Could have expanded and added more woman or flushed out storylines.. Pam, Linda, Fat chick, MILF, Health clinic girl.. Not really a bad thing, just missed chances for more awesome sex scenes.. Recommendation - I highly recommend this game to perverts like myself, if you're looking for well drawn video game porno this is it.. It'll keep you engaged, and keep you fapping for hours.. More then a few times I spend staying up trying to progress to the next tier of a relationship, only to get there and say, damn what happens next.. With great power in recommendations comes great responsibility, so it goes without saying that a warning should be issued about the game as well.. It's very sexist, and the main character is kind of a douchebag.. He does lots of things which are highly morally questionable to get the girls in bed.. Blackmail, stalking, spying, breaking and entering, and depending on your thoughts on consent maybe even rape.... For a moment I thought I was playing as Anthony Weiner, heck the main character kind of resembles him.. If you're a SJW you should avoid this game as after a few hours of playing you'll be up in a rage and yelling at the sky.. So buy it, even at full price, you'll be happy you did.. like the time you stopped in that run down massage parlor because you tweaked your back and got a rub and tug for under a fifty...

  This game actually surprised me quite a bit. It really doesn't do itself any favors with the provided preview screenshots... Pros: - well written dialogue - distinct personalities for each woman - cheat menu (makes the grind much more bearable and helps with money and time management) - hint system (for less trial and error) - good looking high resolution backgrounds - very detailed character models - nice animated sequences - lots of content (even without the grind) - some faces look really good and distinct (Sophia, Amy, Veronica, Diane) - a woman for every preference (the innocent looking minx, the naive shy one, the shrew that must be tamed, the strict older woman, the overly flirty bombshell,...) - some well hidden collectables Cons: - some faces are really overly doll like (Ashley, Claire, MC, Emma) - the design of the MC (he looks way younger than he is supposed to be and has douch-y face) - there is a substantial amount of grinding but at least the game is aware of that as well Neutral: - some dialogues and plot points invoke the impression that this game was not always about roommates and a landlord but dealt with a more "familiar" matter (if you catch my drift). Some may see this as a Pro, some may see it as a Con. If you came here for a quick f*p and intend to actually play the game, forget it. The juicy bits happen only after a few hours. If you are willing to spend 20,- to go to the cheat menu and unlock all memories in an instant, to get your quick fix, go ahead. But I think there are cheaper ways to get that. If you are willing to play the game, read some nice dialogue and get rewarded for it with some really good scenes, then you should definately buy this.

  The game is obviously full of lewd sex. It is mostly vanilla when it comes to the fetish side. There is a Milf character, a BDSM character, and a girl-next-door girl character, all of whom are bi-curious. There are a few secondary characters as well, including another bdsm character, a lesbian, a superhero, another girl next door, and another milf, all of which are linked to the main 3 characters and require progress to continue the main story. (the BDSM is pretty tame). I feel like the original version of this game was a "mom and two sisters" game, but was probably changed at some point. The language seems suspicious in parts, and many of the online guides call the Landlady "mom" instead of "Claire". The gist of the game is time management and story discovery. There are generous clues (which you can disable if you like) to help you figure out the next step with each girl, but those steps often have to take place at a certain time and at a certain place, and getting around costs money, so you have to remember to earn money, preferably daily. You also have to find time to raise your stats, which are used to unlock story elements, make it easier to earn money, and give bonus scenes. If you want to make the game easier, there is an included cheat console to give you as much money as you like, raise your stats, and also advance or back up time. Without these cheats, the game is still rather grindy. The cheats do not allow you to advance your relationship stats, only to remove some of non story driven gameplay. There are also collectables to find, which adds a fun non-story element. Lots of gameplay here. Took me about 50 hours actively playing to complete. I did use the time cheat occasionally so that I could gain points with different people who required interaction on the same hour on the same day. If you don’t use cheats at all, depending on your efficiency, you could probably drag this game up to 80 gameplay hours or so, and the start of the game would be a slog. At a certain point, it gets hard to earn all the money you need and still find the time to work on the story. If you complete everything, you get a secret ending. There are a LOT of things to complete in this game, and there isn't a "one ending at the expense of another" scenario. You get all the endings and all the girls. Loads of achievements to earn in game to further dangle that carrot. Graphics are okay, I don't know if they're good or bad compared to similar games. The girls are weirdly shaped, with oversized attributes that may not fit your personal tastes. I personally think the game would have been better if the characters looked a bit more realistic, but there were only a couple that were off enough to bother me. The animations are very basic, but they're not terrible. Available actions in game reset after each day, so you will often find a lot of repetition, and doing the same thing day after day. Some actions can only be performed on weekends, so plan weekends carefully! There is no reason to replay this game once it's done. I enjoyed the puzzle aspect, I actually liked planning each day to get maximum efficiency and balance for earning money / gaining stats / seducing girls, and trying to balance what to sacrifice to do something extra. Overall, I feel good about this purchase, it wasn't expensive. [b]If you are unable to play this out of view of the kids, don't bother, there is no way to skip scenes[/b] Glad I played it. Giving it a thumbs up.

  Warning. if Patience is not one of your virtues you might not enjoys this game since some of the reviewers complain for the game to take time to reach your desired point of the game. If Patience is your virtue than this is a game for you!! Its not that often that i find a good visual novel that isnt short, meaning, it actually takes 20 hrs + too finish it. each girl as her own thing. own route. own style which is freaking awesome. not gonna go through alot of the details of that since i could give spoilers accidentally. The story evolves around anon( you the player ofc.) you live with 3 stunning beauties in the big city. Clair the stunning dark haired landlady and the cougar of your dreams. lonely and lustful mature woman that maintain her role as landlady and takes care of you and the other 2 girls. she works at a pharmaceutical company and you have no idea what she does other then she is at the upper ladder in the company Ashley. the lovely miss 18 redhead is your roommate. she loves movies and enjoys your company. She looks up to you for guidance for her homework and is really curios about biology, her personality is of those you would feel is closer to the little adventures sister. Veronica is your stunning, dark redhaired dyed dominant older sister type. she hates you and she enjoys tormenting you. She loves going out and about after midnight and no one knows what she is doing. those are just the tip of the iceberg of girls you will get in the game and one of the features ifsthat you can get them all!. meaning the game wont end if you finished one path but continues forward. the game requires a bit of grinding. in it there is also 4 things you must be vary of ( you can also turn of that feature in the game ). those are Hunger. tiredness. mood and hygiene. those 4 are important to keep an eye out for since many if not all of your dialogues involves around them. The other things are ofc money and stats. the stats are 3. Intellect. charm and strength. the highest you can get in them is 50 points and its very good to spend early game time to max them since they are important to the progress. for the money you get to work at a pizza place as a delivery man or a gym coach which pays way better then the pizza but, you need strength 30+ for that so again. stats are important. the girls have so stats that you need to increase their affection for you. Love and lust. they are fairly self explanatory but your action raise them and most of the time you can raise both at the same time. The DLC that follows are a must ( in my opinion ) to have since one is a little continuation of the main story and its around Christmas. the other 2 are in game dlc that offers us a little treasure hunt for collectable photos. The artwork of the game is stunning and beautiful and the creater wasted no time into the details. After having played games like D.I.K. i found it a bit tough time getting used to some facial expressions but it is easily forgiven and with time i started to like that part of the game. And the last DLC is high res models and wallpapers. a 100% must i tell ya :P!! Animation was fluid. smooth and the coordination in the scenes with the models made it so real like experience. it takes time to make motion so well looking and fluid so no wonder their arent many of them,so i hope to see a bit more in the next project from Faerin Games but overall. cant complain and loved it! I highly recommend this game.   i am a gentleman, and those adult puzzle is too cheap to play. this game is more challenging, more quality, and the content match its price. its fun. ---------- Update : After playing for 15 hrs, still amazed by the quality and quantity of the game. I have just finished 2 girl and i still have 6 to go. I am now using walkthrough but the fun is still there. The script is well written, not much story but it pay attention to detail. If you like adult content but with solid gameplay, definitely recommended. ------------ final update: finished the game. 10/10 especially the endings are satisfying and fun to watch this game have something unique, you will get addicted in it if you play seriously, i will definitely buy again if the devs make other new games. good job! ------------ Yes i do agree the girls in the game look weird(except for ashley and sophia?) But i somehow get used to it, now i think the girls in real life look weird

  After playing "Acting Lessons" and "Being A DIK" I was first disappointed because of the dolly looking characters. But honestly, this game is really awesome! It is grindy, yes. I enabled the money cheats and disabled the mood system, but it still will take 30 hrs plus in order to get though the whole thing. The story is, of course, ridiculous , but I like it anyways. It has very repetitive gameplay, but you somehow want stop. There is a certain flow beautiful graphics, too. Really like this one. Looking forward for an extension or 2nd one.
