  You have to play online PVP to unlock anything new, just wanted to play couch coop with friends but you only get 2 maps and wont be able to progress at all in non ONLINE PVP. No thanks

  You must be curious why this game has so many negative reviews in Chinese.

  For English speakers: If you know what this game has done in China, you will know why Chinese players give so many negative reviews to a game produced by a Chinese studio. They had released a demo three years ago, when the epidemic was in lockdown and everyone was at home with nothing to do. If they had released the game then, it would have been a monumental achievement in the history of gaming, probably on par with 2016's Overwatch. But they didn't, insisting that the game needed more processing, which took almost four years. The pandemic is over, and naturally people don’t have time to play party games. This is actually not the point. I just want to complain a bit as a player who has waited for so long.

  The real point begins here.

  Before the game was finally released, the producers made it clear in interviews that their nitpicks resulted in the game being too expensive to run, and they were not shy about making it clear that they were prepared to make players pay for the company's operational missteps. However, there doesn’t seem to be much problem with the price in Europe or the United States? We all know that games on Steam are priced differently in different countries, which usually depends on economic conditions and exchange rates. The same type of party games are often priced half as much in China as in the United States, while Party Animals are almost the same price as in the United States. To refer back to the previous paragraph, they were not shy about making it clear that they were prepared to make players pay for the company's operational missteps.

  So, let’s guess which players bear this cost?

  Any promotions and announcements from the studio based in English are a mask of hypocrisy as they have never released the same content in Chinese, even though this is a Chinese studio. Their attitude towards Chinese players is ignorance and arrogance. Some people posted videos on China's YouTube (some of you may have heard of it, namely bilibili) exposing the company's different treatment of English users and Chinese players. However, these videos were subsequently reported and deleted by the company, and any negative comments and questions raised by the player community have also been blocked and deleted without an official reply. Finally, I'll talk about what's really about the game itself. After almost four years of work, what's the difference between a game and a demo? I don't know how many of you have played that demo, but the answer is, almost nothing, except for some paid skins and raffle boxes. In addition, in China, the in-game currency was officially designated as "ni mo bi". If translated into English, it would be, " phack u coin/dollar ", just read it out. Could this be an unintentional mistake? Yes, this has nothing to do with any non-Chinese people. I just want to show that our anger is not unfounded.

  Chinese player have indeed suffered unfair treatment from a Chinese company.

  How ironic! But if you still can’t understand the reason for so many bad reviews based on Chinese, then I can only wish you good luck.

  Game is very fun, great playing with friends, and has in-game voice chat which is a plus. It's basically a combination of Gang Beasts & Fall Guys together. Only downsides is that it doesn't have an offline co-op mode like originally promised (would be great to play at parties) it's just online-only, not Steam Deck compatible yet, and how some of the micro transactions cost more than the base game. But overall for a $20 game its great. I highly recommend buying and can't wait for what the future of this game has in store.

  Its a game where it feels impossible to hate. Sadly there is no offline mode but idc cuz I play online for the most part with friends. I do wanna know how to get the HEV skin (gordon freeman skin).

  Chaotic & fun and I'm all for it! Cute animals and graphics. Good variety in maps and gamemodes (hoping for even more in the future, same with animals). Microtransactions exist but it's cosmetics only (opinions may vary but I don't care as long as it doesn't affect gameplay). Wish we could mix and match animal colors with the outfits (at least the ones that aren't obvious references to other media and franchises.). A great game to play together with friends. Left with a sore throat after first day from intense laughter. Will recommend!
