《三国群英传》是由宇峻奥汀（Odin）公司出品的一款策略战棋游戏，也是三国群英传系列的第一部作品 ，于1998年发布。
游戏按即时制展开，双方行动和交战同时进行。游戏进行的大致流程是“内政经营模式”到“大地战略模式”，然后到“战争发生”，再循环到“内政经营模式”。
游戏特色：
搜索地图，开发人口
武将智力、武力达85以上可进行地图搜索，开发人口后可增加人口，增加金钱，预备兵役上限会增加，武将可以多放一些，开发到一定程度，可以达到10个以上。每年年初发钱，也可以从别的城市调兵来。人口多，金钱多，兵就多。
筑城防守，征兵御敌
守城时可为己方武将防御加成，通常武力相差5点以内会比较明显，受攻击时回避概率更大。
文臣武将，皆有所用
武将战斗后需要在城里休息才能回复体力和技力。而派遣智力较高的文将当做太守时，武将的回复速度会更快。
兵种相克，权谋为上
游戏内设有多种兵种，且兵种互相制约。
招降武将时需要符合历史史实，若是武将所属君主尚未战败，则该武将也无法被招降
注：游戏暂不支持窗口模式
